Scary when it is windy and you are wearing a dress!" Mariko laughs and pulls into a more modern looking club. There were fashionable people out front,surely they were up with new music. On the way in,mariko holds the door for Sabrina. " nothing official. I am working on a split album with Allison cooper. You ever meet her? Such a sweet heart."

As they weave through the bouncing crowd,mariko liberates an untended drink. She makes a face shortly after drinking it. " yuck, tequila." She shakes her head,but still finishes the drink. " my next work will probably be my best. Not being one of those people,but I think I am getting the hang of this music thing." Mariko says nervously. She hated seeming like one of those people that take themselves far too seriously. Mariko giggles when Sabrina speaks into her ear. It tickles. Mariko listens and bobs up and down to the music. " oooh,yeah. I can dance to this. If I wasn't wearing heels..well, even with heels,you wanna dance?"

Mariko slowly looks aghast at the drink,as if it could sprout arms and kill her at any second. " you think people would do that??? Oh lord." Mariko screeches. She is pretty sure it's all in her head,but she does feel light headed now. Mariko had a wonderful time dancing.she wasn't that good at it,but she was enthusiastic. She felt pretty special to be dancing with the person who made the song on the speakers. Back in their snug little corner,mariko nods. " I can not stand to hear or see myself. It feels totally surreal. It is like I think I sound worse than that,you know." Mariko says with a shrug. She has a very love/ hate relationship with her music. After it is created,she wants nothing more to do with if.

Lexi, who was on her way out the door, heard a car honk from outside. She peeked through the window to see Elyar sitting in his car outside her grandma's house. She hurried and picked up her things from the couch. She opened the door and stepped outside. Before she closed it, she called after her grandma. "I'm gone grandma, see you later," she said yelling. Lexi closed the door and locked it then turned around, heading down the front steps to Elyar's car. "Hey," she said as she open the car door. She put her things in the back before getting in and closing the door behind her. She reached over to hug and kiss Elyar.

"Sounds fine to me." Lexi smiles and sits back in her seat. She then puts on her seat belt. "I hope there won't be a lot of people there. It would be cool if we had the whole beach to ourselves you know?"

"A full beach is the worst. I'm always stepping on people." Lexi smiles. "I hope it is." She lets down her window and puts one arm out. She then closes her eyes, enjoying the breeze.

Lexi begins to blush, feeling a little embarrassed. "U-um yeah, this sun is just getting to me. Messing with my brains and all." She reaches for the radio, turning the volume up loud. "Ooo I love this song," she says changing the subject.

Lexi smiles, happy that they finally arrived at the beach. She opens the door and steps out. As she shuts the door, she looks around at the beach, scoping it out. "Well it's not exactly empty but not completely full either. So I guess it'll have to do." She shrugs and turns to look back at Elyar.

Lexi shakes her head. "No its fine. We can stay here." She walks back to the car to get her beach bag. "Great cause I definitely want to get a tan in," she says smiling. She looks back at the beach, looking around for a spot for them. "How about that spot over there?" she says pointing.

"You're sweet but I think I do," Lexi says laughing. "Thanks, I already have some though." She kicks off her flip flops then bends down to pick them up. She then begins walking towards the beach, stepping into the warm sand with her bare feet. "I forgot how cool and painful it is to walk on beach sand."
