Derek laughs. "Yeah, okay. Whatever you say. I'll be the last one laughing though. You'll see." He smiles at her. "Alright, fair enough I guess. I'll win you over though you'll see," he says winking at her. "No problem. So what type of guys do you usually like anyway?"

"You really have that much faith in them huh? That's too bad since they suck," Derek says laughing. "I do, but the only way you'll find out is if you go on more dates with me. So yeah, the ball is back in your court. Choose wisely." He grins, feeling in control just the way he likes to be. "Okay, cool. Oh I like a girl that's hot, a little wild, loves sports and cars of course, and isn't too clingy."

Derek laughs, feeling like he was digging himself into a whole the more he spoke. "Okay so we obviously aren't going to agree so I won't say another word. You can have the last word this time. Don't expect there to be more though." He smiles, thinking about the many girls he dated that fitted the description. "I managed to fine some."

"We mostly likely will turn this into a thing cause I can't let you have the last word. That's against my man code." Derek laughs. "Parties mostly, sports games, etc. You know, the kind of places where girls who like that stuff would be at," he says in a sarcastic tone, trying to mess with her again.

"Well one of us is going to have to suck it up and it's not going to be me." Derek laughs as he sits back in his chair a little making himself comfortable. "Okay, have you seen me? That's not shocking at all," he says jokingly. "I'm going to pretend you didn't just insult me. So how old are you? You look about 20 or something. Am I right?"

Derek shrugs. "It won't be either. You'll give up sooner or later just a matter of time," he says with a smirk on his face. "Pretty sure there's other stuff I would be interested in then the music." He looks at her and smiles, hoping that she got what he was referring to. "Whoa you're 18? Never would have guessed that," he says with a shocking look on his face. Even though her age took him by surprise, it didn't change anything though. He still liked her but wondered if she would look at him differently when she found out his age.

Derek laughs. "I don't think giving up is something someone would ever teach you." He pulls out his phone to check the time. Hours had gone by since they left rehearsals and he hardly noticed. He brushes it off, putting his phone down on the table. "Just because I don't care for music, I can still dance you know," he says smiling. He laughs again, finding her stereotypes of him to be funny. She wasn't too far off though with his age, so he had to give her that much. "Close. 28."

"Never," Derek says as he smiles. He knows that she's being sarcastic on purpose but decides to play along for the heck of it. "Hell yeah! I got some pretty sweet moves. You want to see?" He smiles and goes to say something but his phone buzzes. He picks it up from the table and turns it on to look at the text message he gotten. Reading the text, he continues on with the conversation. "I know you are and yeah I guess so," he says while still looking down at his phone.

"That's fine with me. I'm in it to win it.' Derek laughs at himself as he can't believe he had just said that. "You sure? You're missing out." He continues looking down at his phone, texting back a reply to the message he had gotten. He then turns his phone off and puts it back down on the table. "Sorry about that. Just some girl. So what were you saying?"

"I know it was corny you don't have to say it." Derek laughs. "Alright,' he says as he shrugs. He notices her pull out her phone to text and looks confused when she suddenly seems uninterested in the conversation. "Okay, what did I do? You're obviously mad or annoyed about something."
