"Yup, just a little." Kourtney smiles when he kisses her cheek. "Cause I always get so nervous at these kind of things and it makes it less fun."

Kourtney smiles when he holds her hand. "Okay Jase," she says still smiling. He was right, she just needed to calm down and enjoy herself. After all, the party was for them anyway to celebrate their engagement. "Yeah, we can do that. Lead the way."

Kourtney shakes her head. "Wow, I must be out of it. I forgot that most of these people are my family. I'm sorry." She laughs. "I guess I'll be leading the way then." She looks around the room, figuring out who to introduce Jason to first. She notices her little sister, Madelyn, talking to their grandmother and decides to go over to them. "You can meet my grandmother since you've never met her before." She begins leading the way, walking over to the two of them. "Hey guys." Both Madelyn and their grandmother turn to look at Kourtney. She goes to hug her sister, whom she hadn't seen in awhile, and then her grandmother. "Oh, I want you to meet my fiance, Jason," she says speaking to her grandmother. Her grandmother smiles slightly, turning slowly to look at him. "Hello Jason." She reaches her hand out to shake his hand, not much of a huger.

Her grandmother nods and continues smiling. When he speaks to Madelyn, she waves hello. "It's great." Her grandmother looks at him and smiles. "That's alright. I'm quite fine. Thank you for asking." She then turns to look at Kourtney, grabbing her hand. "He's a gentleman, make sure you keep this one okay dear?" Kourtney smiles and nods. "Okay." Her grandmother smiles, still holding on to her hand. "Your grandfather would be quite proud of you." Kourtney smiles, really happy that she said that. She always missed her grandfather very much and wished that he could be here for her special day. She comes closer to hug her grandmother. "I love you grandma." Her grandmother hugs her back. "I love you too dear." Kourtney continues to hug her before pulling away. "I'm going to introduce Jason to the others. I'll see you later okay?" Her grandmother nods. Kourtney walks over to Jason. "You didn't ask me if I wanted anything," she says teasing him.

Kourtney smiles and shakes her head, laughing along with him. "You're so silly." She comes closer to give him a quick kiss. "Thank you. She is pretty incredible. Ummm," she says looking around. She notices her mom going to the center of the room with a glass in her hand and turns around to look at everyone, getting ready to speak. "Actually it looks like my mom is about to make a toast."

"Yeah, it is." Kourtney smiles and turns to listen to her mother's toast. "Okay. Can't wait," she says whispering to Jason. Kourtney's mother continues on with her toast, holding her glass in her hand. "Eli and I are glad to have you here tonight in our lovely home to celebrate such a joyous occasion. The engagement of our oldest daughter, Kourtney and her fiance, Jason. Jason and Kourtney could you please join us up here," she says looking towards them. "And lets us each take a glass of champagne from the waiters that are around the room right now while we wait for them to make their way up here." Kourtney looks at Jason and smiles. "Well I guess that's our cue."

"Okay, that's fine." Kourtney follows by Jason side as they make their way up to the front where here parents are. Her dad hands both of them a glass for the toast. Her mother begins speaking again. "Has everyone gotten a glass? Lovely, now if you could please join me to raise your glasses please." Kourtney raises her glass up along with the others.

Kourtney's mother continues on after she sees that everyone has raised their glasses. She raises her own before speaking again. "Here's to Kourtney and Jason on their engagement and may they continue to cherish one another and have a wonderful life together!" She finishes her speech and takes a sip of her champagne. The others follow her cue, taking a slip as well. Kourtney does the same, as it was okay for her and Jason to drink alcohol is Canada. Soon after her mother speaks again. She looks over at Jason and Kourtney. "Would you two like to have a few words?" Kourtney looks at Jason. "Ummm, I suppose I could say something?"

Kourtney nods and turns her head to look back at everyone. She moves to where her mother was standing as her mother steps off to the side. She continues holding her glass in her hand. "Well first I just want to say that I'm so glad that all of you could come tonight. A lot of you have been there through the years supporting me and lifting me up when I needed it the most. I thank you for that and so it's great seeing you all here now to celebrate this special day with me. I'm so lucky to have found the guy of my dreams and I can't wait to marry him and start a future with him. So here's to us!" She smiles and takes another sip of her drink, the others doing the same. Kourtney steps off to the side and her mother comes to the center. She turns to look at Jason. "Jason, would you like to say anything?"

Kourtney looks at him and smiles, blushing from the things he says about her. She takes a sip out of her drink along with the others. When Jason comes over to her, she smiles. "You did great babe," she says whispering to him. Her mother comes back to the center and begins to speak again. "Such lovely speeches from the two of them. Now let us continue to enjoy the evening with dinner. There waiters will lead you out to the backyard for a wonderful meal. Please follow them out and enjoy yourselves!" She smiles and goes to speak to people, helping the waiters to direct them outside. Kourtney's father joins her. Kourtney looks back at Jason. "You ready to eat?"
