Sam chuckles and shrugs. "It's a small town. It's not a large feat to know everybody in the town," he admits with a small smile. "Oh, good, because we might be here for a while." He leans back in his seat and looks around, before looking back at Evalyn. "So what all did you do at the awards?"

"Yeah, you'll get that way eventually," Sam assures her when she says that she's starting to recognize people in the town. "They all know you by now, anyway." It wasn't very often that they got new people in town, especially celebrities like Evalyn, so people were talking. "Oh, look at little Evalyn. Getting drunk. Did you do anything fun while you were drunk, or are you not that kind of drinker?"

Sam was taking a drink of his Coke when Evalyn was explaining what kind of drunk she was, and he couldn't help almost spitting the drink everywhere when she explained that she could be a 'drunk horny bitch.' Just hearing her say those words made him laugh. He quickly swallows his drink before chuckling, shaking his head. "I'm not laughing at you, I promise. I'm laughing because I never thought I would hear you say something like that."

"Well, I'll have to put that to the test then," Sam says back in the same fashion that Evalyn had adopted of saying whatever came to his mind. It was the most opening he had ever been with his attraction to Evalyn, but they had been seeing each other for a while now, and he figured that it was probably time to address the obvious physical attraction between the two of them.

Sam chuckles. "Oh, sweetheart. You're cute. I think I can handle you just fine," he says back, giving her a little wink. The waitress comes by and sets their burgers in front of them with a smile. "Oh, hey. Tom must be picking up his game. That didn't take very long at all."

Sam laughs a little at how excited Evalyn seemed to be at food. It was exciting to see a woman who actually enjoyed eating. If she were one of those girls who didn't like food, he probably wouldn't be as into her as he was. He takes a bite of his burger and nods. "It's good, it's good..." He grabs a napkin and wipes his mouth and beard before speaking again. "So what's the plan? Any other award shows you have in the future? Tours? Festivals? Something like that?"

Sam perks up a bit when Evalyn says that she has a festival planned. "Yeah? Where? What festival?" he asks, taking another bite and waiting her answer.

Sam nods when Evalyn explains where she's going. He had heard of the festival, and he knew that it was in Los Angeles. California wasn't very far from New Mexico. "I don't have much planned here. What do you think about me coming to California with you? You know, just to hang out? Watch the festival?"

"Oh, you caught me. I definitely just want to go so I can see if I can get you drunk. That's actually going to be my motivation for anything from now on," Sam says back jokingly. He takes another drink and sighs. "So when is that?"

Sam raises his glass of Coke to Evalyn being a motivator. She certainly was to Sam, in more ways than one. "Well, great. I suppose it would be taboo for you to only stay one day, and then go home, huh? I guess I'll stay out there all three days. Getting drunk at a festival sounds like something I can afford to knock off my bucket list now."
