joshua was sitting in his car on the phone with his sister Ashley he then pulled into the driveway at valeries place before getting out and hanging up he then goes over and makes his way up to her door Joshua had been on the road for a few hours now to get here it had been awhile since he last seen Valerie after star factory ended he went back to hang out with Valerie for a little before going home Joshua stayed with his family which included his parents and older sister so it was nice to get away plus he got to see Valerie which was a big bonus since they had been getting more serious since star factory ended it wasn't easy being so far apart but they were making a way with phones and Skype and what not plus Joshua would drive up here sometimes to hang out of course he'd usually tell her when he'd come but this time he didn't joshua knocks on the door then covers the peephole so it's a complete surprise Joshua was currently wearing a plain white shirt a black leather jacket and a pair of worn out jeans he also had on a pair of white nike sneakers |

Valerie was in the middle of a Law & Order marathon kick when she heard a knock on her door. She raises an eyebrow and makes her way towards the door, wondering if she had ordered a pizza earlier and forgotten about it. She did that sometimes.
Time apart from Joshua had been rough, but they were both young adults that were adept enough with technology to talk and be able to look at each other every day - if only through the computer monitor and FaceTime. Some people might have thought that long distance relationships were too much work, but for Valerie, it was fine. She was a bit of a loner anyway, so this set up worked for her.
Valerie didn't even think to look out the peephole before opening the door. She had already assumed it was the pizza man, digging in the pockets of her faded jeans for money to give him - before she opened the door and saw Joshua. "Oh! Joshua!" she says, immediately smiling brightly, excited. She throws her arms around him, giggling. "What're you doing here?"

Joshua smiled as soon as he seen Valerie seeing her get all excited made him happy when she put her arms around him he moved down and planted a small kiss on her nose then on her lips before hugging her and answering her question "Oh you know I was in the area and decided to drop by did you miss me?"" he laughs a little before speaking again "Are you reaching in your pocket to give me gas money? Because I don't think I'll get home on what I got" He says jokingly before walking in and looking around a bit it had been awhile since he last visited he then looks at the television "Oh we're watching Law & Order?" He then walks back over to Valerie and puts arns around her before moving down for another kiss "did you order us a pizza?" He smiles keeping his hands on her hips |

Valerie blushes a little when Joshua kisses her on the nose, and then even more when he kisses her lips. "Of course I missed you," she says back with a giggle, keeping her arms wrapped around him before he moves to go inside her home. "Oh, you can't get home? Hmm, that's too bad. I guess you'll just have to stay here forever," she jokes, giving him a little wink. She follows him back inside her home and into her living room. "Yeah, you know. Nothing like a little homicide in the afternoon to really get me through the day." She blushes again when he kisses her again. It felt like it had been so long since they last kissed, and he was so good... She presses her body against his for a moment before he breaks away. "Um, I actually don't know," she says back with a laugh when he asks her if she's ordered pizza. "Maybe? I forget if I have or haven't sometimes."

Joshua smiles when Valerie says she missed him "Well good because I missed you too" when Valerie jokes about Joshua not getting home he laughs a little before nodding "Yeah I guess I'll just have to settle in here oh well" he says joking again before laughing once again "Yeah I know how much you love your homicide" he kisses her one more time on the cheek befire shaking his head "So forgetful why don't you call and check?" Joshua then heads over to the couch and sits down he then looks over at Valerie as he waits for her to come over too |

Valerie smiles brightly at Joshua, tucking her short hair behind her ears. On Starfactory, she had rocked longer, red hair, but now she had cut her hair and dyed it a dark hot pink color. "Yeah, I guess. I hope you like cats snuggling against you all night, taking up half of the bed. Because that's something you'll have to get used to if you want to live here," she jokes, motioning to her cat, which was sitting in the chair across from the couch. Her cat, Hitchcock, was well overweight, and had no sense of personal space, especially when people were sleeping. "Aw, but calling and checking means that I have to actually talk to people," she whines as she sits down on the couch next to Joshua, giggling a little. "I always sound so awkward on the phone."

Joshua shrugs before taking his jacket off and folding it over once then placing it on his lap Joshua's appearance hasn't really changed at all since star factory he's still got the same style of clothes hair and pretty much everything however he did really like what Valerie had done with her hair it was different and he liked different "I mean I'm more of a dog person but I'll live" he smiles then looks over at Hitchcock "Is there going to be room for me on the bed" he says joking before listening to her talk about not wanting to call "Well I could call but you gotta dial the number" he smiles before laughing "Everybody is awkward on the phone you should see Ash when she orders Chinese food one time I told the pizza guy I love him before I hung up I mean I was twelve but still" he laughs a little |

Valerie laughs, and looks over at Hitchcock, who seemed to be in no mood be to considered second to dogs. "Hmmm... Hitchcock says no," Valerie answers for her mute cat, turning back to Joshua. "But that's okay. That just means you'll have to sleep closer to me." She winks and then giggles again. She wasn't much of a flirty person, so when she tried to say something that came off as suggestive or flirtatious, she usually got a little embarrassed right afterwards, resulting in her going into a giggle fit. "Yeah, but Ashley Grimmie is allowed to be awkward on the phone - she's adorable. I sound just dumb when I'm on the phone." She dials the number on her cell phone (she knew it by heart), and then hands the phone over to Joshua. "Ask if Valerie has ordered anything today. They'll know who you're talking about."

Joshua smirks a little "I can definitely live with that" he winks back and puts his arm around Valerie bringing her closer to him Joshua wasn't the biggest flirt either but he could do it without feeling awkward especially since he and Valerie were already dating so he felt more comfortable doing it than he usually would he laughs when she says it's ok for Ashley to be awkward "She is not adorable when you live with her plus you're the most adorable person I know so it's all good" he smiles and kisses her on the cheek then takes the phone after she calls "Im surprised they know you since you're so awkward on the phone" he laughs when the pizza guy answers the phone he asks if Valerie ordered anything "He says no what do you want on the pizza?" He asks still holding the phone to his ear |

Seeing Joshua being flirty back made Valerie relax a little bit, leaning into him when he pulls her closer. She really liked him, and this relationship was going pretty well, as compared to some of the other guys she had dated in the past. Out of all of them, she was sure that she liked Joshua the best. "You're only saying that because she's your sister," Valerie counters when Joshua says that Ashley isn't as cute when you live with her. "Aww... thank you." She blushes a little again, hiding her face in Joshua's shoulder. But she immediately perks up again when Joshua asks her what she wants on her pizza. "Hooray! Um... pepperoni, mushrooms, and black olives. Please." She smiles brightly.

Joshua smiles when Valerie leans in to him and relaxes he then kisses her on top of her head Joshua was also very happy in this relationship he really liked Valerie and felt something more with her than he did with his exes he didn't really hate any of his old girlfriends he actually stayed friends with some of them Joshua never really was one to hold grudges plus he ended most of his relationships anyway after Valerie says that about Ashley he laughs "Oh you're so wrong even if she wasn't my sister and I lived with her she would be far from adorable she actually has her scary moments" he laughs a little Josgua orders the pizza he tells them what Valerie wants on her half then orders ham and pineapple on his half "Anything else?" He looks over at Valerie |

"Oh, I demand to know these stories," Valerie says with a laugh, looking up at Joshua. "Umm..." She thinks for a moment when Joshua asks her if they need anything else. "I don't think I have anything to drink... Let's get sodas, too. I want Dr. Pepper." She brings her legs up on the couch as well and crosses them, Indian-style.

Valerie giggles as well. She had siblings, she knew how it went - even though you love them, you've spent too much time with them not to be a little annoyed with them almost all the time. "What are our plans? Mister, you came out here and surprised me! My plans for tomorrow had mostly consisted of playing Red Dead Redemption and eating microwaved corndogs before you showed up. What do you want to do tomorrow?" She laughs, nudging him in the arm a little.

Joshua looks up at the ceiling to think for a second before looking back down at Valerie "Well if you're not busy I was thinking maybe we could go out to eat tomorrow and possibly go to a movie or maybe we could just go chill out at a park or something any of those sound good to you?" He looks at her once again all of those plans were simple and though Joshua had a really romantic side sometimes he was always more of a simple guy |

OOC: Hey, I'm really sorry. I've had the busiest past couple of days.
"All of that sounds good to me," Valerie says back honestly, smiling at Joshua. She didn't really care what they did, as long as she got to spend some time with him. The long-distance thing worked great for her, but when she really got to spend time with Joshua, she never wanted to be without him. "I like the park idea... I can pack a picnic?"

Joshua smiles "That sounds perfect so picnic at the park" joshua was happy to do that though he's never really been on a picnic date or to an actual picnic it seemed like a cool idea "no homicide though ok?" He says jokingly "Hey you think it'd be alright if I stay here for a few days actually? I'll be clean and you won't even notice me unless you want to" joshua says with a wink Joshua hadn't stayed to Valerie's all that long when he came over so he had hoped to spend more time by staying more than just a day or two long distance wasn't terribke for Joshua but he definitely preferred being with her plus he needed a break from home some of his family was there for the holidays and so many people in that little house was a bit much for him |

"Hooray! I bought a picnic basket from a thrift store a couple years ago, and never had a chance to use it until now!" Valerie says excitedly when Joshua says that he'd be cool with going to the park for a picnic. She had never been on one herself, but had always wanted to. "No homicide? Uh, no promises." She giggles and winks. "Yeah, of course you can stay here for a few days, I don't mind. As long as you're okay with the fact that I'm, like, the opposite of clean..." For the one or two days that Joshua had normally spent over, she could usually pretend to be a clean person for most of it. But if he was going to stay for a few days, she knew that her tendency to let trash and clothes pile up on the floor would shine through.
