Vara sticks out her tongue and shakes her head. "No. Chef Boyardee is the boxed wine of pasta. Horrible." She smiles brightly when Mariko freely follows her out to the dance floor. "Here, put your hand on my shoulder," she says softly as she wraps her arm around Mariko's waist and laces her other hand with Mariko's. "Now, take a step to the back... now the front... left... and right... A little faster..."

"Yeah, I understand, I understand," Astra says back with a laugh and a nod, finding it funny that she was getting taught how to tell the difference between straight and gay men at her premiere party. She turns around in her chair and looks around the party. "Okay, what about that guy over there?" She points in a random person's general direction. "Gay or just European?"

Ooc: gay or European? the question for the ages.

Mariko laughs,but doesn't defend the world famous chef. She knows there was no defense. She weaves her way between the crowd,praying she doesn't fall. She gives a little sigh of contentment when She feels vara's arm. She squeezes vara's hand when she takes it. The first few steps are slightly awkward,but not point and laugh awkward. Soon mariko gets the hang of it and dances with vara. " I am totally taking you with me after the party." She jokes.

Ansley giggled at Reza. "You're so adorable. We should totally dance but I have no clue how to dance to Jazz music!" She found her to be sorta like her in that she was bubbly and a bit shy. She had grown a little out of that now but she could still understand her. "Jazz music is just.....snazzy." She says, thinking she sounds very observant and mature. As she keeps looking around, she spots a tall and hansome figure who reminded her of her boyfriend except it actually was him. She smiled widely and motioned to get his attention and waved for him to walk over.

After Astra left to talk to Reese, Veronica decided to stay at the bar as she seemingly ordered everything and anything.

After a while of looking, Kellin started to worry Ansley wasn't here, which made him even more nervous than he had been before. However, when he spots her at last, he smiles and breathes a bit easier. She always managed to make him smile. Walking over towards her, he smiles widely, putting his arms around her waist from behind her. "Well look at you, superstar," he says with a little kiss on her cheek. "How's it going, Ans?"

Late to the party, early nothing, Isaac shows up. His collar undone, and his suit jacket open with his tie hanging undone around his neck. He sits at the end of the bar, popping peanuts into his mouth as he sips his Coke Zero.

Kellin smiles warmly when Ansley embraces him, hugging her back tightly. He leans down and gives her a small kiss on the lips, a little conscious still that people were around and not wanting to be one of "those" couples who overdo the pda. To anyone who saw them, it was obvious what they meant to each other anyway. "No problem, I wouldnt miss it for the world," he beams at her. "You look so....wow, by the way. You're amazing," he smiles. Kellin was still in that phase where he couldn't believe such a beautiful girl wanted to be with him and he was so happy with her. "Don't worry, I wouldnt let myself get away," he smirks at her, sliding his hand into her own.

Vara grins and kisses Mariko softly before the song finishes. "Alright. Now I need another drink and another bump," she says as she takes Mariko's hand again and leads her off of the dance floor, producing the compact from her bra again.

When Kellin enters the scene, Reza takes a step away from the two, allowing them to great each other without her imposing. "Reza Vranitzky, very nice to meet you," she says with a smile, holding her hand out to Kellin when they're introduced, a small, warm smile spread across her face.

Reza gives the couple another happy smile before excusing herself to the bar. There was nothing more awkward than being the third wheel in a conversation, and she would hate for anybody else to feel that awkwardness with her. She walks up to the bar and orders herself an apple martini - her favorite - before leaning back on the bar and looking at the party around her.

"Aw, I always knew Asians were good at math," Vara jokes when Mariko says that Vara gets two drinks now, sticking her tongue out at her. She hops up on one of the bar stools and kicks her legs back and forth, waiting for her drink. "You're so much cuter when you're shorter than me," she comments and then laughs. "I apologize. That's horrible of me to say."

"Psh, please. I'm only half Asian. The rest of me is fully dedicated to good food, expensive wine, and talking really loudly for no reason," Vara counters, raising her class to her own heritage before drinking about half of her first whiskey. "Those numbers don't mean anything to me," she jokes when Mariko writes out the equation in the condensation. "Well, just so I make this clear - I think you're absolutely adorable no matter what height."
