God dammit . I was hoping I wasn't reading it right.
I hope It doesn't suck. But I know It will be buggy as hell. New Vegas is nearly unplayable. I've lost So many hours of play due to it's loading bug that corrupts the data. |

My body is ready, as the kids say.though those graphics look like Xbox 360 graphics. Good Xbox 360 graphics. But not whiz bang impressive.
Judging from the picture...looks like the gas station that was an entrance to Navarro. |

Whew. There it is. I just needed to complain.
I think only Daniel Bryan's yessing is appropriate. I'm spent Works over. My day is complete. O need a smoke and a nap. |

So 100 percenting this GTA V game is a longwinded lark indeed. I thought I would plough through a fair chunk of it in a couple of hours last night and get near to the completion. Seven solid hours later and with zero dinner, I had only gone from 67% to 79% and still have basically everything to do. On a side note, even the missions after the end of the main story are still really quite cool and interesting. Dom is a hero. |

The dominator!
What a nut. Such a weird set up with the meeting of him. I'll check tonight the percentage I have. I know I have the letter,s spaceship parts, and races to complete. On as side note, I did successfully steal a jet from military base. |

Yeah, it was an odd one. I liked him. Nearly as weird as the first time Michael smokes the spliff early on. I basically still have to do all the hobbies, the stunt jumps, the letters, the space ship parts and the flying under bridges and through the gaps in buildings. I think I need like one more "random event" as well. Probably still a solid 70 hours given past form from the game. I think I've clocked up about 35 hours to get this far. |

Back on the hammering it on GTA front last night, and a tale to share. It was a short time before I went to bed, when I decided to tick three more things off the checklist - the triathlon events. Dunno if anyone here has done these swim, cycle, run combo races in game, but this is what I discovered. The first two - piss easy, 3 minute to 5 minute races that are quite enjoyable. The last? Well....here's a screen grab. Look at that timer in the bottom corner...that's just as I was approaching the finish. 28 minutes. To swim fast, one must bash the fuck out of the X button. To cycle fast, one must bash the fuck out of the X button. To run fast, yup, bashing fuck out of X. TWENTY EIGHT MINUTES of constantly, non stop hammering the living hell out of the X button to go fast. I would have expelled less energy on a real life triathlon. |

Good God. I did like two of them and they were relatively easy. But the idea of Trevor doing them was hilarious. Huffing gas is how I prepare for physical activity. Wheaties!
Reminds me of The endurance races on gran turismo. They had one was that was 24 hours. |

Honestly, the swimming section is absolutely fucking torturous. It feels like you swim for miles and you're always in last place through the swim. Ten minutes in I was wishing a shark would just come and mercy kill me. The cycling wasn't as bad, because I was in front the whole time. But the running again was awful. Ten minutes of feeling like he's going nowhere, spending the whole time thinking "I better fucking win because there's no way I'm doing this shit again".
I really don't get why they made the first two so short and then the last one this long. Ten minutes - fair enough - but when you're asking someone to just abuse their own thumb as fast as they can from start to finish, half an hour is too long.
At least on those endurance GT races it was a fluid non button bashing experience. I remember trying a few really long races on old driving games, like full Formula One races at 72 laps, but I never got to the end before I got bored and walked away. |

I don't mind the length of time it takes for the triathlons because I always win. I like winning. If I suck at something and always lose, I throw my controller away and don't want to know. |

Do they still make controllers with turbo buttons? This sounds like a moment they were made for.a half hour with a chance of falling hopelessly behind? I can imagine many broken tv's came from this. I'd be hulk level pissed if I got passed at the last moment.
I.....I did the 24 hours one. I believe I used the Mazda flat looking race car. I'm sure they have a name for that type of car, but I have no idea. |

So in the last couple of weeks, I've managed to finish GTA5 and Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (or whatever it was called). Both great games, although Tomb Raider pales in comparison to the majesty of that GTA game. Loved it. I'm playing through The Walking Dead Season One now, and I quite like the story around it all. Quite cool. I think my next purchase may have to be The Last of Us, which I never got round to playing on PS3. |

The one I'm playing is one of those Telltale Games ones, where it's story based and your mostly making choices as opposed to actually playing a game as you would expect. I don't think it follows the TV show at all either, or the characters therein, but I don't watch it really so I'm not sure. |
