PART TWO: K - Z

Kai Rollins - His band Blood Runs Black seemed to have vanished and Kai made a name for himself, doing it all solo. His anti-Christmas song filled us all with festive cheer and we couldn't wait to see what he would do next. However, he has since joined Mudshovel so a potential solo album might not happen at all this year. This would be great to hear though. Imagine an album with Kai's stamp all over it? Amazing.

Katie Coyle - To be honest, Katie is another one of those artists that we may eventually just give up on if she doesn't deliver in 2014. Her debut album was simply stunning, award winning and one of the best selling records of the last decade. Granted, it is hard to top such stellar work but if you have the talent and creativity (which Coyle certainly doesn't lack) then it shouldn't be too hard. If there is no album can we at least have a leaked demo track?

Kato - Like Andrea, Kato took quite some time to finally release his debut album and just like the former's record, it was certainly worth the wait. Since releasing his album, he's released a Christmas duet, been shagging Victoria Black and partying with Austin Nimmo. Hopefully we see a darker side to Kato on his next album, influenced by his drug-fueled, sorry, "alleged" drug-fueled parties and teenage life. Just don't start singing about Molly whatever you do.

Kourtney - I really want this album to be released but at the same time, I don't want it rushed. I know she's released a good handful of singles but Kourtney leaves a gap between singles and I fear momentum will have died down by the time the album surfaces. What she needs to do is release a pop 'stomper', something far bigger than her previous singles and then drop the album right after it. Kourtney has the ability to be up their with Isabel, she just needs the right backing behind her.

Liyah - We have witnessed shed loads of new rappers appear over the last year and fortunately, they have all been rather good. Usually, one would triumph over the others but they all seem to be doing pretty well for themselves. Liyah is one of the fierce females that are currently dominating the rap scene at the moment and while she has her critics, her supporters are really eager to hear a full album after the release of her successful singles. Expect a lot of Asian references throughout.

Lotus Just like the previous artist, Lotus is yet another fiery lady who is 'doing it for the girls' as they say. Initially starting out as a blogger and model, many were taken aback when she dropped her first single. What shocked people even more was that is was good. In fact, it was brilliant. Her unusual style and unique flow set her apart from the others. Lotus' lyrics are witty, smart and insanely catchy - the perfect combination. An album better be on it's way or angry letters will be written.

Mandy Williams - Mandy, Mandy, Mandy, what are we going to do with you? Delay after delay, single after single, promise after promise and still no album. Get your act together, young lady! Having said that though, 2014 looks like it could be the year we see an album. The single 'Teenagers' received a lot of support and promotion and is possibly the lead single from the project, having scrapped prior releases from the album (we assume). Mandy, we need a new single next month followed by an album by the time we're well into spring. Come on, get a working.

Matt Young - Formerly known as 'MattY', Mr Young has been making more and more public appearances over the last year following a long period of time being.....locked away with his thoughts. He posted a few 'diss' verses online which got people excited as they were rather swell. Matt then announced his return to Mudshovel, meaning he'll be impacting the charts yet again. Like Kai Rollins, a solo album may not surface but we can always dream, right?

Mercedes - Remember Mercedes? She was tipped to be the hottest star in 2012, released a rather successful single titled 'Shine On', signed to Hot Eye Records and then just vanished. She also dated Luke Striker for a while but was then dumped via Twitter...ouch. During her time away, Mercedes has been reworking her album as she was not happy with the original version nor the pressure to make a certain type of album just to please the public. That's right, SHE'S MAKING NEW MUSIC! We love Mercedes, she's like Tisha Jackson meets Stephanie Fierce but without all the aggro and much better looking.

Michelle - Michelle Green, sorry 'Hamilton', no wait...she's just professionally known as 'Michelle' now. I think that's in case her marriage to Riley goes tits up it means she won't have to change her name yet again. Usually one to take lengthy gaps between albums, Michelle is surprisingly gearing up to deliver album number four this year, having just dropped her third one a few months back. We have no idea of a title, which label she is now with or what her new music will sound like. All we know is that it will be "different". When artists say that word, it fills me with fear.

Mudshovel - The new and improved rap-metal super group are back once again, ready to take on the charts with a vengeance. We haven't heard what this new line-up (now consisting of Matt Young, Bjarne Orgsen, Kai Rollins, Lily, KC James and Karoliena Verlinden) can do yet but we are sure that with members like this, they won't disappoint. We don't really need a string of successful singles, they just need to drop an album and watch it sore up the charts. The first one was great and with an even better line-up, the sophomore effort looks like it could simply amazing.

Mutual Addiction - The collaborative project which consists of post-hardcore newcomer Alex Simms and alternative rocker Julia Volkova seemed like an unusual pairing at first but you only have to listen to their debut single; 'Bad Influence' to realise just how well they work together. Both of them are extremely talented in their own right so put the two of them together and there you have it, total magic. Julia's ever evolving image may be hard for many to accept but they just have to get over themselves and enjoy the music.

Nadia Berry - Nadia's latest effort, 'Diamond In The Rough', is set to hit stores next month and we all know that it will sell like hot cakes because it's Nadia Fucking Berry. The majority of the tracks are streaming via Pitchfork right now so be sure to check them out. Already, it is one up on 'Hera', an album that was a bit patchy in places. If the tracks we haven't heard yet are all brilliant then this record could possibly top 'Open Heart Surgery' which is a hard thing to do. Oh and it also includes her best single yet; 'Homesick'.

Oisín Shannon - The blonde haired, blue eyed, former Nickelodeon star is back on the music scene. It has NOTHING to do with the fact that his old enemy, ex-Disney star AJ, is back on the scene. After being involved in a dispute with his record label for the best part of three years, Oisín finally parted ways with them and is looking for a fresh start. His first two records; 'Oisín Shannon' and 'Daydreaming' were both extremely good. Fingers crossed album three continues the trend of great albums.

PURE - I like to call them the new and improved or 'upgraded' version of Misery Loves Company. Their debut album, 'Weekend Lovers' was only released four months ago but that doesn't mean we don't want to hear new music from them. The first record was pretty amazing and was a strong contender for our record of the year so the pressure is on to deliver something as good, if not even better. Lead singer Ryan Williams has recently made an appearance on Nadia Berry's new single so if no new album appears this year, we might be treated to some more Ryan collaborations instead.

Radio:Active - Not much to say about these guys as we know little about which direction they are going in with their music. The X Factor winners released a fantastic cover of 'Burn' which actually trumped Ellie's version but still didn't come close to Leona's. It's obvious that these guys can sing and will catch the eyes of many girls so they are guaranteed some success no matter what they release. We'll have to wait and see what they can do post-X Factor before we can hail them as the next big boy band, well 'man band'.

Sammy Griffin - Chucky lookalike and musical God, Sammy Griffin is set to release his debut album this year. He already has a stellar EP to his name as well as a string of successful singles. 'Feet In The Sand' with Nadia Berry was one of the highlights of 2013 and any album that includes this has got to be brilliant. It has been stated that the Nadia collaboration will be the only one on his album which is rather sad. An Ashley Grimmie feature would go down a treat!

Sexy Star - Another star (see what we did there?) that has been in hiding for quite some time now. He....she.....it.....eh, Sexy Star provided a lot of TV gold during his(?) stint on the first series of Big Brother. Star is not only known for his feisty attitude and eye-catching look, he is also a rather good recording artist albeit slightly underrated in the past few years. Sexy can write a good pop song or two and definitely knows how to catch people's attention. His latest offering; Death Is Beauty didn't sell as well as it should have but hopefully his rumoured new album will be a triumph.

Sonyae - She has only been around in mainstream circles for a handful of months now but almost everybody knows her name. Whether it's due to her music, personality, rivalries or striking appearances, she has got everyone talking about her and all publicity is good publicity.....well, so they say. Her debut album was a hit and a miss. It was a good effort overall and satisfied its target audience but there was still some room for improvement. In fact, her diss tracks are actually even better than her official stuff. Hey, if it means you have to record a second album filled with 'disses' then be my guest. I have a list of people that need a good 'dissing'.

Sophia - Ah, the lovely Sophia. Who doesn't love her? Although she is to GirlSpice what Scott Wellington is to Weekend, the weakest vocalist that doesn't add much you still can't help but like her. She's sweet, charming and knows her boundaries when it comes to vocals. Her debut album; 'The Beauty Within' was a piece of pop perfection and no it wasn't a life changing experience upon listening to it but it sure was a fun one. Her second studio album is expected to hit the shelves really soon.

Suzie - We don't really want to hear new music, we just want to look through the album booklet and watch new music videos on music. Tits or GTFO.

SYNCO - The female Weekend, as they are commonly dubbed, are set to release their sophomore album this year but it's very early days into the recording process. If their bosses pull in the right people to help work on the project it could be another amazing album. Their girls' first record was fantastic in places but a lot of the tracks played it safe. Now they are a little older and much more confident, we may see a new side to them. Don't expect an album soon though as things are still in the early stages.

The Dolls - Like an older version of SYNCO only less vocally talented but far sexier and....flexible (come on, you can't call SYNCO 'sexy', that's practically illegal). It will be great to see what these girls can do as they have a lot of potential. They just need a new manager and have to start doing a lot of promo. Their first single was good but nothing amazing. They need to get their name out there as much as possible if they wish to succeed. Since G2L may be gone for good, we need a new sexy girl band!

The Stat Nerds - Originally nobody cared about them, then they targeted Weekend and millions hated them, then they were cool with one another and the band was slowly accepted into the pop world but just as soon as things were picking up, boom, they vanish. Hopefully it's because they have been locked away in the studio, writing and recording non-stop in an attempt to make a wonderful record. They have a lot of potential and while they might not have a massive following like Weekend and The Zone, they are still a far cry away from being ELMNT.

The Titans - OK so Michelle Green is no longer called Michelle Green and now you're telling me that Teen Titans have changed their name too!? This is too much to get my head around. Although, a name change was desperately needed since the members are all like....40 something. Anyway, one of pop's favourite groups are still on their extended break right now but we have been told that a new album should be released this summer. Expect multiple dance anthems and an overall feeling of joy.

The Zone - Last we heard from them, they were working on their second album but it had to be wrapped up ASAP because their bosses wanted to release in time for Christmas. It's way past Christmas, we haven't heard from any of the members and we don't know if there is still 'beef' between them and Pesky Records. We don't even know if they're still together. However, these guys last released an album in 2012 so it's possible that a new album is due out this year. It is only January so they still have plenty time to make an announcement.

Ugenia - The original CBB Queen, winning the very first series of the show and going on to present further series, Ugenia is set to release her much delayed sophomore effort which is titled 'Human Nature'. She released her debut effort 'Like A Circus' way back in 2010 and since then she's been recording all over the world to help make this record perfect. Not to mention the fact that she's been looking after very young twins too. She must be Wonder Woman. The album is said to be very dark, the polar opposite of her first record.

Victoria Black - This is another lady that needs to get her finger out and release another album. Miss Black released her debut record; 'Hush' back in 2011. The album produced the massive hits 'The Rain' & 'Disco Chick'. She then vanished. In 2013, she reemerged with the #1 hit 'Shut Your Pretty Little Mouth' and revealed her next album title; 'The Seductress'. However, Kato came along and she's been riding his dick ever since. Take a break and get back in the studio, love.

Vile Hour - They didn't waste time moving on from their debut to their sophomore album so I highly doubt it will be long before we hear their third offering. Their latest release, 'My Phoenixes' showed a vast improvement from their debut and the clever songwriting made for great listening. The duo seem to be growing with every release and as great as their previous releases are, you can still sense there is still some room for growth and improvement. I'm assuming a new album will be on its way before mid-summer

Weekend - This is a highly anticipated album for many. Weekend don't do anything halfheartedly and will work on something until it is good enough to have their name associated with it. This album has been delayed many times as it has been constantly reworked to achieve perfection. Another reason for the delay could also be the fact that Oscar Ward and Billy Khan can't be in the same room as one another without a fight breaking out. It is said that a new single will drop in February and the album will be released really soon. 'Soon' - a word every fangirl hates.

Will Rocca - I can assure you that this guy will make a name for himself in 2014. You may have heard his name a few times before but never really took too much notice. Mr Rocca has worked with many international stars such as Alicia Lena and The Titans, producing some of their greatest hits. He is now looking to make a name for himself by launching a solo career and releasing an entire album filled with guest collaborators. mISTER_b may very well have a talented rival on his hands.

Yasmine - This chick is kinda weird but really cool. She recently released the superb indie-folk inspired 'Like A Christmas Toy' which was produced by inZane and NinaT....you just can't go wrong there and her debut single 'Proposition' was met with wide critical acclaim. It's fair to say that Yasmine has her own trademark sound which you either get or....well, you don't get. Her debut album is set to be released some point in this year and will obviously be filled with a lot more Yasmine goodness. In a perfect world, I'd like to receive this album before May.

SYNCO HAVE RELEASED A NEW SINGLE
The talented and super cute quintet have dropped their brand new single; "Ain't Coming Back" and it is possibly their best yet. We thought it would be some time before we heard from these girls as everything on project 2 was "early days" but somehow they managed to put together a "flamazing" song with the multi-talented Deneil and only gave us a few days warning. These ladies cannot be trusted with release dates. However, this single may just be a teaser single, giving us a little taster of what is yet to come. If things are truly in the early stages then maybe the official lead single will be released later on in the year. If "Ain't Coming Back" really is leading the project then expect a killer album "soon".

BILLY WANTS ANDREA TO WORK WITH SOME RAPPERS ANDREA WANTS TO COLLABORATE WITH SOME RAPPERS!
The "Bruised" hit maker is set to take a new direction with her sophomore album which is slowly but surely starting to take shape. After chopping off her hair, squeezing into the tightest of tops and hotpants and releasing a new sexy promo TV spot in which it states she'll takeover 2014, it's safe to say that the sexy pop star transformation is well underway. We won't be hearing any new music for a little while but we can already speculate about the new sound. Billy...Andrea is said to be looking for a few rappers and 'urban' artists to work with her on the record too help reinvent herself. This could be the smartest move ever or the 'how to lose your entire fanbase after one record' move. Time will tell.

ISABEL IMPRESSES AGAIN
Little Izzy recently dropped her newest (and most interesting) single, "Do What You Do" along with the stunning video and we are all fans of it here at That Music Site. Whenever a big artist decides to experiment or do something unexpected, my heart drops as I know that there is a high chance they'll fuck it up - just look at Beyoncé's latest album. Not Miss Merjos though! The song was a breath of fresh air and the music video takes it to a whole new level. If Izzy continues to release songs in the same style or just as amazing as "DWYD" then she won't have to worry about falling off the map for a loooooooooong time yet.

PRETTY LITTLE FREAKS RELEASE RATHER GOOD SINGLE
Pretty Little Freaks have posted their comeback single 'Bond' online and it is rather good, actually. Now, I admit I am not a huge fan of their previous work but maybe I'm just to cool enough to 'get it'. Anyway, all that matters is that their latest offering is brilliant and if their next single is just as good then they might find themselves with another fan. The single cover is pretty great too. I'd buy it alone just for that.

NADIA BERRY'S RELEASED HER FANTASTIC ALBUM AND DONE A LITTLE ROLLING STONE INTERVIEW TOO!
Constant chart-botherer Nadia Berry released her long awaited album; 'Diamond In The Rough' and we can officially say that it is better than 'Open Heart Surgery'!....just. Yes, Ms Berry has surpassed herself and truly delivered the goods with this stunning little record. With the first five songs in, it has already bettered 'Hera' by far and any album that contains 'Homesick' and 'Mixed Signals' is bound to be brilliant anyway. Nadia also had a chat with Rolling Stone magazine. During the interview, she tells us about her relationships with RRH and Mark Talley so check it out if you like sticking your nose into other people's business.

MICHELLE REGRETS 'EXPLODE' VIDEO
Mrs Hamilton (that really doesn't have the same ring to it as Miss Green, does it?) has revealed in an interview with Fabulous Magazine that she regrets doing some scenes of the provocative music video for 'Explode'. The songstress stated that she was aware the video would be a bit risque as the song is very sexual and she did not mind some of the revealing outfits and the dance routine. However, Michelle thinks that bending over in front of a male dancer and 'slut dropping' was a step too far and she wishes she spoke up during the shoot and expressed her dislike of the ideas. You were working with Terry Richardson, love. What else do you expect?

ADAM BENJAMIN POPS A 'CRAZY GOOD' SONG ONLINE
Musical madman, Adam Benjamin has uploaded a brand new song onto YouTube and it is surprisingly better and crazier than the majority of all his other tracks and that's really saying something. The wacky lyrics to "Rawr, I'm A Dinosaur" are aided by an acoustic guitar and an impersonation of Barney The Dinosaur....yeah, you have to see it to believe it. The song looks set to appear on his sophomore album which he is working on at the moment. Billy Khan even cracked a smile and posted a nice(ish) comment on the video so it must be good!

CARMEN GRANT TOPS ALBUM CHART
Weird indie chick who likes to talk about herself in the third person has topped the album charts, knocking Andrea's "In And Out Of Consciousness" off of the top spot. For a relatively low-key artist, it is good to see her shifting over 300,000 copies of her debut in the first week - give yourself a pat on the back and have a cookie, Carmen! If she releases "What Are You Still Hiding" as the next single then Carmen may experience even more chart success as the album is worth every penny for that song alone. Hopefully, we will continue to see her shine this year.

TISHA JACKSON SURPRISES AT SUPERBOWL
OK so I am not the biggest fan of Tisha's music as a lot of it is rather middle of the road but she does have her moments and her halftime performance at the Superbowl was definitely her finest hour. Watching the performance, you actually forget that her songs sound 30 years past their sell by date and get lost up in the visuals and the energy Ms Jackson exudes. If Tisha works with new producers, makes sure her next album is all killer, no filler and keeps on delivering performances like this then she may become "the baddest bitch in the game" as the cool kids say.

SAMMY GRIFFIN'S DROPPED A NEW PROMOTIONAL SINGLE
Chucky lookalike, Sammy Griffin, has just released a new promotional single from his upcoming debut album; "Some Words I Wrote On A Broken Heart" (lengthy title there). The single comes in the form of "Just Say Yes" which is the lead song on the soundtrack of the movie of the same name. While the song is well written and features wonderful production from Sammy as usual, it seems to be lacking a little something or maybe it's because nothing can really compare to "Feet In The Sand". Overall though it's just what you want and expect from Mr Griffin.

SABRINA FRANC UNVEILS DEBUT SINGLE
Despite the unfortunate typo in the title, Sabrina Franc's "Make Me (Your Woman)" is what you would call a "banger". It's not on the same level as a "TOTAL BANGER" but a banger nonetheless....I'll stop saying banger now. It was co-written by the ever so quiet Dominic Brown (thank goodness he's still alive) and Sunny Monroe who, let's face it, has the golden touch when it comes to crafting songs. If the promotion is right then this song should do well. It's fun, doesn't try too hard and Sabrina has a rather pleasant voice and that's all we ask for.

ASHLEY GRIMMIE RELEASED A WONDERFUL EP IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW
Ashley Grimmie, the underdog of Star Factory 1 (who should have won!) has independently released her debut EP which is titled.....wait for it....."Underdog"!. The five track EP includes her wonderful singles; "Don't Wanna Pretend Anymore" and "Won't Be Hurt This Time" as well as two new songs and a cover of "Hallelujah" which is not as good as the original but a really good attempt and it is listenable unlike a lot of covers which make you want to cut your ears off and vomit blood. A full length album would have been better but I'm not going to pass up any opportunity to hear any new Ashley material.

Isabel has only gone and released another stomper. CLICK HERE

The female Urie or "Maddie" to some has a new single out. It's called "We Were Young Once" and it's had Oscar Ward's seal of approval. CLICK HERE

In case you didn't know, SYNCO have previewed their upcoming single "Believe It! CLICK HERE

Victoria Black's sophomore album "Beautiful Mess" is finally available to purchase! CLICK HERE

James Urie has unleashed a rather good single upon us. Great!CLICK HERE

The video for the aforementioned song is now also on VEVO. CLICK HERE

Cherry Street have revealed the title and artwork for their next single CLICK HERE

Johnny Johnson and his wife popped in to have a chat with Ellen. His camera shy other half also gave us a little sing song CLICK HERE

If you fancy reliving the first chunk of the Cosmos Fest you now can by clicking right there > CLICK HERE

The Zone have 'dropped' their latest single online, their first without Chris. It's Dawn leaving En Vogue all over again!!...Well that's a slight exaggeration but a shock nonetheless. They still have Blake's celebrity, Jason's voice and Liam's looks so they should survive. CLICK HERE

Yasmine's debut album is streaming online right now, well half of it is. It's not half bad but far from great. Anyway, here's the link > CLICK HERE

Radio Vine has finally let the world hear her brand new single. Is it good? Yes it definitely is without a doubt. Was it worth the extensive wait? Naaaahhhh but it's still pretty decent. CLICK HERE

Miami's tremendous debut album "Hotel Miami" is now available to hear in full. You'll be blown away. Don't say I didn't warn you before you come around here trying to sue us. CLICK HERE

Johnny Johnson's wife has released a song. It isn't really anything startling but I suppose it's not that bad. Listenable, I guess. Still, she will forever live in the shadow of her husband. CLICK HERE

The Titans have confirmed that their video for their "banger" of a single, "Phoenix" is on its way. Here's a link to the song to get you in the mood. CLICK HERE

This mysterious, creepy, spine-tingling, edgy, odd yet absolutely brilliant track has been doing the rounds online for the past few days now. Trouble is, nobody knows who the fuck sings it! CLICK HERE

Cristina Lake has given us a few details on the inspiration behind her latest single CLICK HERE

Michelle's brand new single "Collecting Dust" is coming "SOON". A word we all hate. If it's anything like the free downloads, "Aggro" and "Your Hand Is Your Friend" then we may be in for another treat.

Dominic Brown and Kato (who is totally not a bad boy) are sitting pretty at number one.

Kato has revealed that his new single will feature none other than Deneil Khan or just "Deneil" as he likes to be known as.

Scott Wellington is currently enjoying his time judging the auditions for The X Factor New Zealand. However he is not impressed by the amount of contestants singing Weekend and Ed Sheeran songs. Tough judge....

And that little handshake between Scott Rose-Hilton and Billy Khan at the Chaos Awards now has over 35 million views on YouTube. Crazy.

OOC: Questions asked by a lovely man who goes by the username of erich hess

Pick a doughy guy. Alan Hale, William Conrad or Joe Don Baker
Eh, Alan Hale? I like the name Alan. It just makes me giggle. Like the names Sebastian, Gwen, Humphrey and Bernard. They just tickle me!

Have you ever ran a crooked card game?
It's what I always do in my spare time. Well, that and strip Monopoly.

You were on Big Brother and everyone saw your dick. Even though the show was a total clam bake, who do you think had the biggest willy?
Me. Not one to boast but I was asked to pose for naked pictures for a reason, wink wink, nudge nudge. I was actually shy about that and the one time I let it loose, it was shown on air. I've seen all the guys naked in the house and I think it was only me and Daniel that were aired in our birthday suits. My mom was watching!

Who would be your zombie apocalypse buddy?
Daisy. She's like my best friend, she's super funny and I know that she wouldn't take any shit from a flesh eating zombie.

You recently became a father. Was this planned?
It kinda was. We did plan of having a baby in the very near future just not as early as it happened. Wouldn't change a thing though. Prince is just a sweet little angel.

Favorite pork product?
Bacon, definitely bacon without a doubt. Bacon is baked with pork, right?

With the panic settling down now, were you ever afraid of Ebola?
For the longest time I didn't know what it was. I don't watch the news or anything so when I saw it constantly trending on Twitter I thought it was the name of some new band or overrated YouTuber. Obviously when I found out it was a little scary, knowing that something like this exists but I didn't panic or anything.

If you had a pointed stick, what would be the first thing you'd jab?
A sagging teen's butt and tell him to pull up his pants. They just look ridiculous. Underwear up to their belly button, pants down to their shins. Put it away!

What is your favorite movie quote?
"Fucking troll!"
"You say my name?"
"No, I said fucking troll"
"Oh....thought you said Kirk."

I could pick millions from Bad Teacher but that one just gets me every single time!

If you were a porn genre, which would you be?
Um, hardcore? Not that I'm into extreme stuff but the only things I could think of are either hardcore or softcore and what's the point in the latter even existing!?

If you had a really big hand, who would be the first person you would punch?
The person who met me at a signing and accused me of having tiny hands.

Were you in the school band?
Well I went to a performing arts high school so technically I was singing and dancing all day, everyday! Gosh, I do miss that school at times. Everyone was so carefree and creative.

If you were locked in a room with wild wombats and the only way you could live was feeding them a member of GirlSpice, would you? If so, who would you feed to the wombats?
I'd feed Nadia to them so that I could then take pose as her and steal all of her album and single sales. I'm pretty sure she never struggles at Christmastime so I wouldn't mind filling in for her.

Do you like the aristocrats joke?
I can't say I've heard it, no. I like the film though with all the cute talking cats!

Football or soccer?
OK, this one confuses me. I've lived in London for a bit and soccer is called football and they don't really watch our version of football and all the names and terms just confused me now. I'm wanting to say soccer? The one with the round ball.

What is your least favorite smell?
Jerry's feet! Only if we've been on stage or walking a lot. He'll take his shoes and socks off in the hotel afterwards and I'm just like "buddy...please, I'm dying here."

In the modern day, is a watch useless?
Well not for me anyway! I can barely work all of these new fancy gadget phones that speak, tell the time, goes shopping for you and all that jazz. I need a watch. I really like watches, I have a nice little collection of them.

Have you ever been on fire?
Yeah, my dad tried to burn us alive when I was little. That's not even a joke. I'm still terrified of fire to this day.

If you were going to eat a human body, where would you start?
I'd start from the stomach and eat all the meaty parts of the torso. It's scary how fast and specific my response was. What I meant to say was "ew, I would never even think about eating another human being!"

Should the metric system be abolished?
No, it comes in very handed. You never know when you need to whip the measuring tape out.

Do you like death metal?
Are you trying to suggest that there are people out there who don't like it!?

Ever kicked a Salvation Army Santa in the crotch?
I can't say I have ever kicked one but I did pee on one when I was a kid.

Do you enjoy Mapplethorpe's work?
Well it is certainly interesting, I'll say that. I actually took part in a recent photoshoot and the photographer was heavily inspired by his work. The shots weren't "out there" like a lot of Mapplethorpe's work though. I do think he had his own unique stamp.

Are you a member of any secret societies?
Apart from the Illuminati? Um, I don't think so.

What underarm deodorant do you use?
I use one called Axe. It's got a nice smell but the main reason I use it is because the other ones irritate me. Super sensitive.

Have you ever worn a banana warmer?
Yeah...Didn't fit though.

If you had the chance to join Weekend, would you?
Maybe for a day or two. I've really gotten to know them well lately and they are brilliant. They have fantastic songs too and are always good fun. Wouldn't do it permanently though because I just love my Nerds too much!

Red or green apples?
I don't really like apples all that much. I'll go for green though because the red ones poison Disney princesses.

Let's say you see someone that irritates you. What do you call them?
I like the word "wanker". I've heard a lot of people say that over in the UK. So yeah, I'd use that!

Have you ever stuffed your shorts to make your wang look bigger?
Never. There's no need to!

If you could join an 80's hair band, which one would you be?
I don't know what's classified as a hair band. Uh, Motley Crue?

Can you beat up Danny Trejo?
Is that the guy that's married to Rhea Pearlman? Uh, yeah I probably could but I wouldn't want to. He's kinda old and that'd be just wrong.

What position do you sleep in?
I sleep in a sort of fetal position. It's really comfortable but the person next to you might not be too overjoyed about your kneecaps jabbing into them.

Do you feed ducks?
No, ducks terrify me! Their faces make me super uncomfortable.

Have you ever used "Uranus" in a joke sentence?
You leave my anus out of this! Thank you, I'm here all week.

Do continental breakfasts piss you off?
I'm not too fussed to be totally honest. Food is just food to me, I'll eat it all. I have eaten a cricket, jellied eel, scorpion tail and lamb testicle live on TV so there's not many things I'd refuse to eat.

Do you like Bugs Bunny?
Bugs was the coolest. He was better than everyone and knew it. Such a boss. I loved him, Sylvester and that Marvin the Martian guy. Still hasn't convinced me to eat carrots though.

Should we all be born with the ability to grow facial hair?
YES! I don't really suit it and only let it grow when I have some time off and I'm feeling super lazy. Wouldn't grow some to make a statement or go for a new look but some people seriously rock it.

Coffee or tea?
I know I'm American but I have to say tea. The Brits have converted me. Well I never really liked coffee in the first place. Got a weird smell and aftertaste. Nothing beats a nice cup of tea. Well apart from a marathon of Scooby Doo, of course.

Is smoking cool? Don't lie.
No, it's not cool. I smoked a cigarette once and it was disgusting. I don't see the attraction in it myself.

Would you want to go on a witch hunt?
No, I'm too scared of witches as it is. Why would I even go out looking for them!? Like, no way!

If you could resurrect anyone, but they would still be all rotty...who would you choose?
Does that mean they have to be dead? Uh...I'd go for Amy Winehouse. She was such a great talent with so much more to give. Rotty or not, she'd still rock it.

What arouses you?
Oh my! What a question to ask! Well I really like the element of surprise. I like kisses and naughty little grabs which aren't expected. It's really exciting. There was one time when I was in Subway and.....eh, I think I might have said too much already. Um, next question?

Is hand-washing overrated?
I don't really wish to comment on that one. I know there is a great divide when it comes to this question and I don't want to say anything to offend either party.

Should sandals ever be worn?
Wait, what's the difference between those and flip-flops? I think it's flip-flops I don't mind but sandals that I don't like. I'm wearing flip-flops right now and I don't care if it's November. It takes little effort to put them on and take them off. I'm all about saving energy and stuff like that.

Weirdest spot you've found a turd?
In the cereal aisle of a supermarket.

What was your childhood nickname?
I used to be called Chrissy and I hated that. The guys at school used to call me Donut Puncher and I have no idea why. I just went along with it though. Having a weird nickname in school is better than having people talking about you in school, isn't it?

Favorite article of clothing?
My monkey onesies! Well, maybe my Scooby Doo boxers....or my giraffe onesie....or my panda onesie....or my superman boxers....I don't know, it's a really tricky question! Uh...I'll go with my brown and white monkey onesie.

If you had to replace your hands with something, what would you choose?
Shovels. I could scoop things up and they can also be used as a deadly weapon....and as a way of disposing the evidence.

Have you ever chafed like a bear?
Um, I don't know what that means so I'm going to so no. It sounds really, really nasty though. Don't think I ever want to do that regardless of what it means!

Hello, Kato. How are you today?

"I'm wonderful, thanks for asking."

What did you have for breakfast?

"Let's see....I had some waffles, bacon, sausages, eggs, and a muffin."

Why has the album taken so God damn long, Mr!?

"Ha, well that's just how I am with music. I'm more of a 'whenever the inspiration hits you' type of guy so I had to wait for it all to come to me. Sometimes it takes hours, sometimes months, it's just part of my process."

If the album doesn't do well, will you ever consider Celebrity Big Brother?

"If the album doesn't do well, I think I'll just go into male modeling, preferably underwear modeling."

Can you please put an end to the great war over the pronunciation of your name. Kay-to or Cat-o?

"Really? People are struggling with that? Wow, I didn't know. Well, it's pronounced Kay-to. Cat-o just sounds weird."

How's the love life?

"It's great, I'm loving it like McDonalds."

What do you think about couples collaborating on a track?

"I always support it, if it's genuine. If it's clearly just a ruse to get the other famous or just to create some buzz around the relationship when I don't really support it. It's like the endless Beyonce and Jay-Z collaborations. I love them both but I mean really guys..? We get you love each other but a whole album together? (Laughs) But you know, share your love if you must! I probably wouldn't do it."

Describe "For The Record" in three words.

"Uhhhhh, fun.....personal.....narrative."

Why should we buy this upcoming album?

"You should buy it because it's a great record to add to your probably already amazing musical collection. Plus, if you play it right after my previous album, IMPRINT, it will make a lot of sense or a lot more sense."

Night or day?

"Night. Day is fun but Night is like a whole different level. I always have more fun at night."

What do you think happens when we die?

"I'm religious, not hardcore but I am, so I believe in God and the whole nine."

Do you have any party tricks?

"Party tricks? Well, I'm the beer pong champ if that counts. I can also play ping pong with my mouth, like I can put the paddle handle in my mouth ahd play the game as if playing with my hand. It's really cool."

Have you ever genuinely feared for your life when meeting some fans?

"Honestly, no. I know they are intense but I know they wouldn't hurt me. I'm precious cargo (Laughs) but I've been more afraid of them getting hurt more than me. They are some very athletically gifted people, some of them. I mean have you seen a teenager climb a 10 ft. tall fence? It's crazy. I'm secretly waiting for them to scale the walls of my hotel one day and just appear out of nowhere."

You have a bunch of famous friends coming around for dinner. What Kato speciality do you cook them?

"I'm a lazy cook so I usually do something simple like noodles or pizza. I never really had the time to learn to actually cook so they'd be getting my special Kato pizza."

Rum or Coke?

"I'm not much of a drinker so Coke. But Rum is great too. Human wise, I prefer both ladies together."

Sweet or sour?

"Sour, I love sour things. Except sour milk because that's just filthy."

What's the best gift you've received from a fan?

"I had a fan send me a copy of their name change form to legally, no joke, change their middle name to Kato. And it was a lady too. I think that's the best gift I've ever gotten because you know that's sort of insane but in a good way."

What's the craziest gift?

"That probably was the craziest. No, actually, I've had a lot of fans send me personal stuff like their teddy bears or some of their clothes. I had one fan send me their hair brush with some of their hair in it. (Laughs) I just never know what I'll get with my fans."

Would you rather cry every time you hear the word "cry" or fart every time you hear the word "fart"?

"Fart, all the way. No question. I would drive everyone crazy."

What's your favourite swear word?

"Probably just dropping a good F-bomb every once in while. Sometimes it just comes out and I don't even mean it but I do say it a lot these days. Stubbed my toe? Lost at Pictionary? Season finales? Yeah, that's my go-to word."

Do you recycle?

"I think the last time I recycled was a month ago. I honestly forget but I should get back into it."

What's the best thing about now being seen as an adult in the industry rather than "a little kid"?

"I won't lie, I'll say the women. Obviously the is pre-relationship, but women don't really take you seriously when you're seen as a little kid but when you grow up? It's a different story. I guess also being taken more seriously and being more respected."

Your fans seem to believe you are perfect in every way. Is there one thing they may not know about you that could possibly gross them out? You don't have a false eye or pick your nose and eat it, do you!?

"I wish I did have a false eye, that'd be cool, but they are real. I mean, I'm thinking of growing a mustache now and some people have told me I look like a pedophile but I like it. The mustache I mean."

You have to create a new five-piece boy band consisting of some members of Weekend, The Stat Nerds & ELMNT. Which five do you choose and why?

"Probably...Billy, Justin, Dustyn.....um, Ciaran, and probably Christopher. I think they would all fit together, maybe vocally wise. Personality wise, I feel like that might be a bit of a struggle but you know I think they could do it."

You've attended many award shows with many other famous guys. During toilet breaks have you ever had a "little look" to see what your competition is?

"I usually just look at myself and make sure the aim is right. It's pretty important in bathrooms."

A lot of celebrities are becoming vegan and heavily promoting it. Will you follow the trend or do you still like a good bit of meat?

"Maybe I'll try it but I love meat too much. I applaud anyone that's a vegan and I have no problem with it but it's not really my thing to do. I have my own food regimen that I stick with."

People say you've adopted a new "bad boy" image but you're still as sweet as ever. Who is the ultimate pop bad boy?

"Everyone knows Billy Khan is, it's not a competition really. I think in order to have a "bad boy" image, you don't even try to be bad, you just are without thinking. I personally don't think I am but I guess I seem like it? I haven't started any fights or insulted anyone."

If you could wipe one song out of existence, which one would it be?

""Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley. It's so good that it's annoying in a way and so I wish to no longer hear it anymore, ha."

What's the worst venue you've had to perform at?

"My bedroom. It was really small when I was little. And no one ever came to see my shows."

I've always wondered if artists listen to their own music when they aren't working on it or rehearsing for a performance. Do you love a bit of Kato playing in the background while you do the housework?

"I hardly listen to my own music but 'Guilty Pleasure' usually helps cleaning go by faster. If I'm cleaning like the bathroom, I usually play 'For The Night' because it's a depressing situation, my bathroom."

What's your stance on miming during performances?

"I'm pretty okay with it. I mean as long as there's a good reason why it's happening. Maybe they are sick and their voices can't carry or something like that. I think everyone has mimed at least once."

Would you rather disappoint fans with a diabolical performance that goes down in history or disappoint them by just not showing up?

"I honestly would rather just cancel and not show up. I think it would be better to just reschedule then to go put on a show I know will be terrible. That's not me, I'm somewhat of a perfectionist and I don't want to carry that around with me forever."

Have you ever been forced to release a single or record a song you secretly hate?

"At first, I didn't really like IMPRINT after I fist finished recording it but after a few listens, I started to love it. I don't really release anything that I secretly hate. It just would never get released as a single or something to buy."

We know Victoria is also working on some new music like yourself. Have you heard any of it?

"I have but I won't give any info on it because I don't want to spoil her music. But she's a very underrated and hardworking artist so I always know it will be good."

Kendall or Kylie?

"Khloe. She's like amazing. (Laughs)"

You have quite the collection of great music videos. Which one was your favourite to film?

"Probably 'For The Night' was my favorite. There was a lot of acting in it and I like acting. It was a fun video to shoot."

Now that Deneil has stopped being anti-social and is making a name for himself, will you two finally make a video for Body Rock?

"You never know. I'm up for it if he's up for it. Maybe it can be included on a special edition dvd or something."

Who's the nicest celebrity you have encountered?

"I've met a lot so that's hard. Eilidh is probably the nicest that I've met recently."

Who is the most famous person in your contacts?

"Probably Nadia Berry. Which is cool because she's in my contacts so points for me."

What's the best piece of advice you've received since entering the industry?

"A lot of my advice came from Kamikaze Kate and she basically just told me to always go with my first instinct and gut feeling and to not let people change my mind on something I'm very adamant on. Basically, don't change for anyone just because."

What makes the perfect sandwich?

"My mom. I'm a mama's boy."

A fan can only afford to buy one of your new singles. Which one would you convince her to buy; Gentleman or The Game?

"That's hard, just buy one and illegally download the other! (Laughs) I don't know, I really love 'Gentleman' because it's like my anthem and motto in life so probably that one."

There's been a backlash against recent "sexy" music videos and lyrics from SYNCO and Andrea yet people seem to drool over a shirtless, seductive Kato. Do you feel like this will change any time soon?

"I don't think so. People are just looking for ways to put down women so men can always seems so superior but you know women really does make the world a better place. I don't know, I like to drool over sexy women though. I guess I can see some of the different view points. People want music to be less about sex and seductiveness and more about something but I think it's pretty harmless. Some people do it for shock, others are just doing it for fun. I personally see nothing wrong with it, if it's a genuinely good song or video."

Where is the line drawn between sexy and trashy?

"I think once it becomes too try hard then it's trashy. I think people are often their sexiest when they don't try but if you're just trying to flash everyone, I don't think that's sexy."

Weekend have recently pulled down all of their material from Spotify. If you want to listen to them, buy their stuff they say. Will you be doing anything similar?

"I respect them and I respect that choice but I have no problem having my music on Spotify. I believe music should be available for anyone who wants to listen, to listen. I'd feel bad for taking it down just so they can buy it. Yes I want people to buy my music, I want to get rewarded for my hard work but at the same time, I want people to be able to enjoy without having to worry if they can afford it, or think they aren't as big a fan if they didn't buy it.."

If you could steal someone else's entire discography for yourself whose would it be?

"Either Michael Jackson's, Rihanna's, or Weekend's. I pretty much can't find a song of theirs that I don't really like or haven't loved."

How would you rate your vocal ability on a scale of one to ten?

"Over 9000. But seriously um....I guess on a good day, 7? And on a bad day, 5?"

Aside from the singles we've heard already, what track on the album do you think will be the instant fan favourite?

"I personally think 'For The Record' will be a fan favorite. It's urban and it has some great production which makes it seem like it can be a bit of a throwback but it's current."

Will we be receiving 50 different versions of the album, resulting in us all getting into debt just to get them?

"There will be a standard and deluxe, and then the only thing that will be different from some countries is the cover but other than that, it'll be pretty affordable."

Finally, the big one (well could actually be the small one), shower or grower?

"I think I'm still growing but I like showing so....a bit of both. And it's a big one!"

Erica: do I make the "Kato likes meat " joke,or hold off because he said, over 9000!"?

Nina: these are the problems you want to have, love. I'd say.....why not both? Kato has had over 9000 meat products in this week alone.

Erica: wow...Nina.harsh.

OOC: I know this first edition is surrounding my characters, however these "updates" are more like exclusives and rumours than anything else. It's not a recap of recent events. Obviously, I am the only one who knows what my characters are planning therefore I can write about it and reveal things. This is regarding news involving the careers of your acts. New music, new videos, endorsement deals, TV roles and falling off of the stage can all be written about. It's not the place to come to if you want to know who's dating who and what the latest celebrity feud is. If you have anything you want me to write a little bit about whether it's just a rumour or major news, drop me a pm and I'll include it in the next update. :)

UGENIA IS MAKING A COMEBACK!

UserPostedImage

When she's not squeezing out twins to Joey from The Titans or presenting Celebrity Big Brother, Ugenia can actually make pretty decent pop tunes. Alright, so she can't exactly belt like Victoria Black and Jennifer Armstrong but when has that stopped the likes of Isabel, Suzie and Kourtney from delivering us slices of pure pop perfection? She may have the title of The First CBB Queen under her belt but Mrs Frankson also has a handful of belters too ("Aliens" featuring MattY, "Make Me Dance", anyone?). OK, so she released a total Andrea reject track for promotional purposes a while back and even Ugenia realised that a dark and edgy vibe wasn't for her. She swallowed her pride and left it to the professionals. Now she's on her way back to doing what she does best, unashamedly girly pop tunes. Since signing with Studio 60 Records, Ugenia has been tucked away in the studio and working away on what may very well be THE pop album of the year. You may think we're talking absolute rubbish here. Ugenia? That TV presenter? Yes, Ugenia the TV presenter! We all know that she is capable of playing the pop star game very well but the timing has to be right. She can't just stage a huge comeback after one album that sold moderately well. A lot of intense work has to go into this and once she's back out there, she MUST strike while the iron is hot. 2015 could very well be the year she finally comes out of her dust covered box and sets the charts alight like she should have been doing ever since she first appeared on our screens five years ago!

THE STAT NERDS' BRIAN GUNNING FOR SOLO SUCCESS?

UserPostedImage

It seems like we may never get this TSN album. Yes, we've been promised a new single this week...we were also promised it back in January too. Their debut album "Want To Be" was cancelled (eventually released as a limited free download for fans and only a handful of physical promo copies exist) but what have we had since then? A handful of now disowned "lead singles" and Out With A Bang (amazing pop song but now over half a year old). With the group seemingly fading into the background and individual profiles being raised, it seems like it's every man for himself now. Dennis Shaw has been rumoured to have been working with The Wolverines on some music, Jerry Holmes can make a career out of Twitter spats and having a famous boyfriend and Christopher Hudson is no stranger to a camera now. What about the curly haired Diet Oscar Ward though? Well it seems as though Brian Bodkin has re-branded himself and been "in the studio" a lot recently without his band mates. Now going by the moniker of "Brian B." (full stop included), the pop star has also changed his Twitter user from @BrianBodkin to @OfficialBrianB, got himself his own logo, taken all references to The Stat Nerds out of his social media pages and has partook in many "sultry" new individual photo shoots. Not much is known about Brian B. aside from the fact he has cheeks you want to pinch, a clean public image and he's dating Lacy from The Dolls. We'll be watching and listening.

ELMNT'S NEW MUSIC VIDEO IS ON ITS WAY

UserPostedImage

ELMNT, for those of you who actually care about them, are set to release their new music video for upcoming single "Because You Want To" some point next week. The clip was directed Chris Marrs Piliero (no, that's not Christopher Hudson's birth name which he hides away from) and it has been said that the video will take on the form of a "mini-movie" - meaning we'll have to sit through about five minutes of unwanted drivel before we actually get to hear the actually quite brilliant song. Prepare yourself to be singing along only to be cut off by some cheesy monologue that takes about forty five years to end. Maybe they'll chuck out a "fan demanded" edited version of it afterwards? Either way, these types of videos certainly get people talking and the views rising which is exactly what Team ELMNT need after the unfortunately failure of pop-stomper, "Glassheart". A lot of pressure is on for this video as it has to pick up a fair amount of rotation if they want to keep their record deal. Sales for their EP and UK tour are looking gloom and with a debut single that never dented the top 40, could ELMNT be a thing of the past come 2016?

Erica: ugenia, huh? The presenter from big brother? The same tart who evicted me from the house, even though everyone knows I should have won? She's getting into music? Bitch, I will evict YOU! You have been voted out ,even though you were the cutest and most wonderful person in the house. Everybody loved you and wanted to be your best friend.

Nina: wow...I don't know which is worse ,love. The fact you are so totally bitter.still. or...or that I really think you believe your own hype.

Erica: I don't care. Ugenia is coming into my profession? She's my personal enemy now.

Nina: I'm feeling some sexual tension here. My God, it's so thick I could cut it with a knife.

Erica: Nina...I'm throwing you overboard. Teach you about surface tension.
