Track 3: "Ain't Nothing Wrong With Me" Artist: Anaísz Label: FREEDOM Records Release Date: December 25th, 2015 Genre: Pop Written by: Anaís Pasquez Produced by: Dr. Luke Length: 3:22 Description"Ain't Nothing Wrong With Me" is a Pop track which features production from Dr. Luke and the only track to be written solely by Anaísz. The beat can be described as a reggae-power pop tune but focuses more on the Pop side. There's a blend of live guitars and drums which loop throughout the song. It also has a mixture of jazzy guitars and a booming synth bassline which shows up around the hook. Lyrically, the song is the most care-free on the EP, talking mainly about wanting to, ironically, have a care-free night. The song begins with her making plans for the weekend after a stressful week. Nothing about the song suggests seriousness but instead more of playful Pop vibe. For the chorus, Anaísz belts out the catchy lines showing once again her vocal range as she pipes up that nothing is wrong with her. The track was initially meant for another artist but after consideration, Anaísz decided to keep the track as part of the EP, thinking it would fit perfectly with her introduction into the industry. [Verse 1] End of the week with nothing to eat Guess I gotta order out again Don't wanna be alone on a Friday night (No) Let me call my friends
Been a really bad week, But I know I'm gonna be fine Tonight's the night all the stars will align Yeah, you won't believe it Taking over the whole city
Everything around me seems so chaotic But I'll get through it, I promise And then we walk right in, I hear my favorite song Now there's only one thing to do Now there's only one thing to do Yeah I'm in my favorite mood
[Chorus] And I sing, na-na-na, I feel alright I've been knocked down once before No this is not the end, I swear this ain't the end Now you sing, na-na-na, I feel alright And just repeat after me Oh-oh-ohh, ain't nothing wrong with me (Oh-oh-ohh, ain't nothing wrong with me)
[Verse 2] A few hours just start to pass Can't remember why I was down Can't feel my feet, my song on repeat I'm dancing to familiar sounds
I'm too young to have so much stress But I'm gonna do what I do best 'Cause everybody's got some issues But being sad ain't on the menu (Tonight)
Everything around me seems so chaotic But I'll get through it, I promise And as I walk right in, I hear my favorite song Then I start to feel so alive Then I start to feel so alive Yeah tonight we're comin' alive
[Chorus] And I sing, na-na-na, I feel alright I've been knocked down once before No this is not the end, I swear this ain't the end Now you sing, na-na-na, I feel alright And just repeat after me Oh-oh-ohh, ain't nothing wrong with me (Oh-oh-ohh, ain't nothing wrong with me)
[Bridge] We've got the cure and the remedy (Remedy) Just start playing that melody (Melody, yeah) It's the best kind of therapy (Therapy) And I'm gonna act like there's nothing wrong with me-e-e-e (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
[Chorus] And I sing, na-na-na, I feel alright I've been knocked down once before No this is not the end, (n-n-n-o this is not the end) I swear this ain't the end (oooh yeah) Now you sing, na-na-na, I feel alright And just repeat after me Oh-oh-ohh, ain't nothing wrong with me (Oh-oh-ohh, ain't nothing wrong with me) And I sing, na-na-na, I feel alright I've been knocked down once before (Knocked down once before) No this is not the end, (no this is not the end) I swear this ain't the end (I swear this ain't the end) Now you sing, na-na-na, I feel alright And just repeat after me (repeat after me) Oh-oh-ohh, ain't nothing wrong with me (Oh-oh-ohh, ain't nothing wrong with me)
