Dominic nods. "That makes sense. We do clash a lot. I noticed that from the beginning, and you know how stubborn I am. I don't like being told what to do." He then sighs, trying to figure out what to say next. "I can't really explain how I feel about you. We've just gone through so much, and I've never been able to let go of all the bad stuff. I think that's what keeps me from giving you what you want. I know you want us back together, but I can't. There's just too much bad history there, and I can't figure out how to move past it. I'll be truthful, I have been trying to get back at you for all the stuff you did to me. I just wanted you to hurt like you did me. I look at it now and see how stupid that sounds, but that's how it was. So I don't know if I could ever love you that way again. That's why I could never tell you again that I love you. I just think we're better as friends cause I can't give you what you deserve." He then sighs before speaking again as he strokes her cheek with his hand. "You did what was best for you. I can understand that."

"Maybe someday I will. Yeah, I know I wasn't perfect." Dominic looks down at the engagement ring on her finger. "Happy for you," he says but not with much excitement. He then gets up from the sofa and walks over to the soundboard. "So you been working on your album," he asks trying to change the subject.

Dominic turns to look at her. "It's cool. You can include it," he says not saying much. He was trying to hide the fact that he was suddenly in a bad mood at the moment but was clearly failing.

Dominic steps back, pushing her away. "Don't," he says as he puts space back in between them. "It's the same as before. You playing games as always. I honestly don't get you. You was just trying to push up on me and talking about how you want us to be together when the whole time you're engaged to Drew and didn't tell me. This is the shit that I was talking about."

"I don't give a damn if you move on. Just stop going back and forth between the both of us," Dominic says still very mad. "Don't say that you don't do that either cause we both know that you do. Whenever you can't have me you start bringing up Drew. If you're going to be with him then keep it as friends only." He looks away for a moment and then back at her again. "I'm glad you're not waiting on me. I don't want you to cause I love Amy."

Dominic leans against the soundboard as he looks at her while she sits on the sofa now. "I'm not trying to hurt you. I'm being honest. That's what you wanted right?" He notices her crying and he sighs. Dominic pauses, figuring out how he should respond. "You know the answer to that Tisha." When she comes back over to stand in front of him, he looks at her. He hated to see her cry but he had to be honest about how he felt. "I feel like someday I'll be able to forgive you but, I don't see us being together again. I know you don't want to hear that, but it's the truth. I love her and one day I'm going to marry her. You gotta accept that."

Dominic comes in closer, bringing his lips closer to hers as though he was going to kiss her but he doesn't. "You sure about that," he asks, testing her to see what she would do.

Dominic smirks after she pushes him away. He was a bit surprised that she had it in her to do it as he expected she would give in and kiss him. "I see. Maybe after this we should keep our distance for a little while. At least until you finally let me go and we can focus on being friends."

"Nah, I don't have to do that. I only suggested it to give you time but since you don't need it then it's all good." Dominic pauses as he thinks about something that she said. "I don't get how you can just be done with it like that. Did what I said hurt you that bad that you're over me just like that?"

Dominic nods as he pulls out his phone, looking through it. He noticed how she had suddenly changed all of a sudden. It felt weird with her acting this way, but he knew that he had to get use to it now. "Okay. I just hope that you won't be like this all the time now. I still want you to relax around me."
