Gemma walked into TDB, alone, with some papers and walked straight to the bar, and ordered a diet coke.
"Wow. In here alone again?" the bartender asked, taking in her tired expression and the small pile of paperwork.
"No, I'm meant to be meeting Billy in here. Don't suppose he's been in yet?" she asked, glancing around the bar.
"No, I'm afraid not. What time is he meant to be here?"
"Fifteen minutes or so ago, I thought I was running late", she said, gratefully taking a sip from the coke the barman placed in front of her.
"Oh, I'm sure he won't leave you waiting here for long", the barman said, leaning forward on the bar.
"We'll see. He's been making a habit of turning up late lately. Or not showing at all... Then again, he has had a lot on at the moment", she finished quietly, slipping into thought.
"I'm here if you wanna talk to me til he shows?" the barman offered, smiling at her.
"Thanks, but I'm fine", she held up the papers. "A lot of work to be getting on with! Thanks for the offer, though! Speak to you in a bit?"
The barman nodded, and Gemma walked to sit on a table in the near-dead bar, and sighed, checking her watch.

After a while, when Billy still hadn't shown up, Gemma began to start getting ready to leave, annoyed.
"Gemma".
She looked up to the person who had called her name - a pretty young woman, blue eyed with long blonde hair and even longer legs. She took in the woman's short skirt - or belt, as some may call it - and barely there top and narrowed her eyes, thinking where she could possibly know her from. She didn't recognise her, but somehow the woman knew her. She didn't look like a Live Youth or Rebel Uprising fan.
"Hi..." she said, unsure of what else she could say. There was a moment of silence.
"I heard yours and Billy's news", the girl said - not as quietly as she would have liked.
"You... what? How?" Gemma asked, shocked, her mouth falling open.
"It doesn't matter how. I would say congratulations, except that I know you and Billy will never work", she sneered, her american accent suddenly thick, an ugly look crossing her face. Gemma sighed and rolled her eyes.
"Look, I don't know who you are, or why this would be any of your business. But you're wrong. Very wrong. You don't know a thing about Billy and I!"
"Oh, really?" the girl laughed. "I know Billy a lot more than you realise. In fact, it was he who told me about it. Yesterday."
Gemma shook her head and smiled.
"Billy wasn't even out yesterday. Look, I've had enough of this. I'm going", Gemma said, standing.
"Billy was here yesterday. With me. Ask the barman. Why look so shocked? Was he meant to have plans with you or something?"
Gemma tried to hide her surprise, turning quickly and walking out of TDB, tears stinging her eyes. Billy did have plans with her last night. But told her he was at home with a "headache". What was he doing here with her?! She couldn't believe this was happening again - not this soon!

Back inside TDB, the blonde laughed out loud, then licked her lips. She would savour this moment. Yes, Billy was coming home, once Gemma told him it just wouldn't work. That was a certainty. Abbi flicked her long blonde hair out of her face and swept out of the place, her smile unable to leave her lips.

Billy rushed into TDB and looked flustered. He walked straight up to the barman.
"Hey, have you seen Gemma? I'm really late, I'm so stupid!" Billy stated. He had tried calling Gemma but she wasn't answering.
"Yeah, she was in here, for quite a while, actually, waiting for you", the barman said, obviously not too impressed with Billy.
"Yeah, I know, work stuff... do you know where she's gone?"
"No idea. Probably home. Your "friend" was talking to her. Gemma left looking pretty upset".
"Oh, no. Do you know what she said?"
"No. But I'm figuring it's something to do with you. Take my advice, you're a smart guy. She is an amazing girl and obviously loves you. Sort yourself out and start putting her first, and treat her right, because you're in a position many men would kill to be in - trust me, I'm a barman. Everybody pours their hearts out to me after a few too many. She has a lot of people who would love to be with her, but she's chosen you. Don't take that for granted".
"I don't... I gotta go find her".
With that, Billy spun on his heel and rushed out of the bar and jumped into his car, speeding off into the night.

Isabel: Men. Never could get them to go to a pop concert.
Hannah Beth: A pop concert will probably be the best experience in anyone's life! I mean i've had my fair share of experiences at Rock concerts but Pop! It's like....i dont even know how to describe it.
