Label: Permanent Reminder Records
Length: 2:56
Genre: Pop
Released: April 21st 2015
"
I'll Show You" is the second single from American singer, songwriter, blogger, critic, talk show host Brandon Grey the song was written and produced solely by Brandon Grey just like his debut single "Bury Me" released back in February which debuted at #5 on the airplay charts and #2 on the pop airplay charts and #4 on the hot digital song charts after the success of the single Brandon seemed to have gone quiet for the rest of the month however he then posted back in March on instagram about a new single coming next month (April) he also started to focus on his talk show Up Close And Personal which after one episode has been cancelled which is surprising since the first episode brought in nearly record breaking numbers Brandon has since been very quiet though
Brandon began writing "I'll Show You" more recently than "Bury Me" which was written back when he was 16 however this song was written only a few months ago back in February around the time he began recording "Bury Me" he thought it'd be a good idea to write a few other songs and Brandon began writing what he calls "a simple song about sex" with no deep meaning behind it, no personal experience just one of those songs where the lyrics and sound came to him easily he then recorded it around the same time he released "Bury Me" it's still unknown if we'll be getting an album or EP for Brandon as he seems to just be releasing these songs for fun at the moment with nothing serious planned yet
"I'll Show You" has a completely different sound from "Bury Me" the beat is slow but in the beginning it has this slightly darker, sexier sort of sound to it the beat plays for a few seconds before we hear Brandon come in singing the first verse in a laid back sexy style he adding "aye" in the back of the first few lines as he gets closer to the ending of the first verse he goes in a sort of falsetto when the verse finally comes to an end the beat picks up a bit more a guitar joins along with the drums we heard throughout the intro and verse Brandon also carries that falsetto from the ending of the verse over to the chorus however when he sings "I'll show you, I'll show you, I'll show you" he sings in a more laid back voice he then goes into the next part of the chorus where he repeats "Na na na na na na na" he then sings the "I'll show you, I'll show you, I'll show you" once more but this time in that falsetto style he sang most of the chorus in he then returns to those laid back sexy vocals we heard in the first verse before getting to the end once again which is sung the same way however at the end of the verse he lets out an "Ooohhh" which goes into a falsetto again he then sings the chorus once more the same way he did previously before going into the bridge where he sings "I know what you want and I'm willing to give it whenever I can" twice however the first time it sounds as if the beat is drowning him out a little this part is done in a sort of talking/singing way we then hear Brandon sing the last part of the first two verses once again in the bridge before letting out another "Oooohhhh" which sounds better this time we then hear him go back into the chorus which is sung the same with a few ad-libs added this time before the song comes to an end
Brandon's Comments"So what's up I said I'd be releasing a single this month and here it is now this song is nowhere near as emotional as my debut single but you know that doesn't really matter personally I believe as an artist you should usually tell a story with your art and when it comes to stories some are fiction and some aren't some are just fun and you know that's what this is this isn't a very personal song the lyrics don't tell a past experience they tell a story and that's what I enjoy doing telling a story even though it's not much of a story haha and sure it's not the best song in the world I'll admit that I'll also admit that it's a bit generic but hey like I said some songs are meant to be fun something and that's what this is I don't want people to take this overly serious because I wasn't overly serious recording or writing it it's just a simple song about sex anyway thanks for listening really hope you enjoy the song"

5. Still Be HereTitle: Still Be Here
Label: Permanent Reminder Records
Genre: Pop
Lenght: 4:22
Writer(s): Brandon Grey
Producer(s): Brandon Grey
"Still Be Here" is the fifth track on Brandon Grey's debut album "REAL/UNCUT/ME" the song like the previous was written and produced solely by Brandon Grey it was originally written for Layla Sanchez' twin brothers however the boys declined the song and Brandon decided to change some of the lyrics and keep it for himself rather than offering it to another artist the song speaks about an unstable relationship where the people in it are constantly criticizing and arguing with each other however the couple remain together because this is how they like it
Following Brandon's second single is "Still Be Here" which is more laid back than the previous four songs with just a guitar playing throughout the song up until the instrumental break Brandon matches the laid back style of the production with equally laid back almost monotone vocals lyrically the song is different from the previous tracks as well with a different concept and despite the lyrics being good they're some of the weaker lyrics on the album along with this song being one of the weaker tracks on the album the song does however have some sort of commercial sound to it and could possibly make a decent single
So many times that you've cursed my name
And every time you do, I retaliate
They're only words we know they don't mean a thing
If we ain't fighting there's no point in loving
And the reason why I wrote this song
Is so you can know what I'm thinking
Cause when we fight I don't care
And I hope that you don't care
You know I'd never do you wrong
And the reason why I'm singing
Is just so I could say that
I just hope you know that
Sometimes I don't like you
But I still need you around
And right now we're fighting
But we'll be cool in the morn
We're pointing fingers like "you're wrong"
But the next minute we'll make up
Cause we both know
That this is just the way it goes
Cause if we meant the things we say so much
Then neither of us would still be here
And if we didn't fight or yell so loud
Then neither of us would still be hereYou're always telling me about how I'm a mess
And I'm complaining about how you like to dress
I don't mean it and I know, that you know
That when I say those things they ain't important
And the reason why I wrote this song
Is so you can know what I'm thinking
Cause when we fight I don't care
And I hope that you don't care
You know I'd never do you wrong
And the reason why I'm singing
Is just so I could say that
I just hope you know that
Sometimes I don't like you
But I still need you around
And right now we're fighting
But we'll be cool in the morn
We're pointing fingers like "you're wrong"
But the next minute we'll make up
Cause we both know
That this is just the way it goes
Cause if we meant the things we say so much
Then neither of us would still be here
And if we didn't fight or yell so loud
Then neither of us would still be here*Instrumental*
I know you're not afraid to hurt my ego
And I'm not afraid to tell you about how you're always wrong
You can pick on me and I'll pick back on you
But in the end we know we both love it though
Cause if we meant the things we say so much
Then neither of us would still be here
And if we didn't fight or yell so loud
Then neither of us would still be hereCause if we meant the things we say so much
Then neither of us would still be here
And if we didn't fight or yell so loud
Then neither of us would still be here_________________________________________________________________________________
6. BiteTitle: Bite
Label: Permanent Reminder Records
Genre: Indie-pop
Lenght: 4:09
Writer(s): Brandon Grey, Alec Cole
Producer(s): Brandon Grey, Alec Cole
"Bite" is the sixth track on Brandon Grey's album "REAL/UNCUT/ME" the track was written and produced by Brandon and Alec Cole after the two had an agreement to produce/write on each others albums "Bite" Brings a darker feel to the album has the message is about falling for someone who is dark and wicked and you know is no good for you however you can't help but be drawn in by their lust getting to the point where it feels like you worship this person
Continuing that laid back guitar lead feel we have the sixth track on the album "Bite" which despite those two similarities is completely different from the previous track taking on a darker sound lyrically and sound wise the song brings in this sexy appeal to it which is brought to a whole new level by Brandon's raspy vocals which he really gets the chance to show off here as we get to hear a real passion in his voice which shines on the track however that doesn't take away from the standout production (which features a sick guitar solo) and lyrics but despite this track being one of the better ones on the album it definitely lacks in the commercial field which is led by pop music at the moment honestly though can you picture this song blowing up on the radio?
Oh darling
Why do you feel so right?
Your words of sin
Are what I obey
How do you do this to me?
I can't break out of your hold
Full of bad intentions
You got me torn, yeah, yeah
But you take me to a place I like
You're blurring lines from wrong and right
But I can't get by without you, oh
I am crossing every line
For just a moment of your time
You're vicious
But I'm ready for your bite
You're touch brings me to life, oh
I am crossing every line
For just a moment of your time
You're vicious
But I'm ready for your bite
You're touch brings me to life, oh
Oh, take a bite, take a bite, take a bite, yeahOh you got me down on my knees
Like a new religion, you're a deity
And I'm coming back, every time you call
Cause you take me to a place I like
You're blurring lines from wrong and right
And I can't get by without you, oh
I am crossing every line
For just a moment of your time
You're vicious
But I'm ready for your bite
You're touch brings me to life, oh
I am crossing every line
For just a moment of your time
You're vicious
But I'm ready for your bite
You're touch brings me to life
Oh, take a bite, take a bite, take a bite, yeah*guitar solo*
I am crossing every line
For just a moment of your time
You're vicious
But I'm ready for your bite
You're touch brings me to life
Oh, take a bite, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
