The Fan Choice Awards VI is the sixth installment of the popular award show founded and created by Damion Holmes and first aired in 2011. The FCA's are voted by the general public, who cast their vote through online voting thus giving the fans and general public a chance to display their importance to music and pop culture unlike any other award show.
This years event will be held in April of 2017 at the SSE Hydro is in Glasgow, Scotland. This will the first time in which the FCA's will be taking place in Scotland as well. This year, new awards have been implemented which includes two new Pre Show awards which includes Favorite Social Media and Favorite Tour Artist. Last year it was announced the lovely Ezra Allan and the youthful and talented Aaron Styles will be taking on hosting duties throughout the night. With Styles as one of the hosts; this also marks the first time in which a male has hosted the FCA's since 2012. Also announced last year, Jayne Wriggle will be hosting the pre-show along without another, announced figure, which will include the FCA's infamous red carpet and pre-show award ceremonies.
So far, no main show or pre-show performers have been announced. However, the pre-show performers for the FCA are set to be unveiled soon.
The official nomination and plugging eligibility period ranges from January 1st, 2016 - January 22nd, 2017
This wide eligibility period is mostly in part to there being no award show within this time and the FCA being pushed back, therefore, the eligibility period is the entirety of 2016 and the early month of 2017, so when you do your plugs, plug what you feel has been your best over this calendar year.
