Camillo smiles when he sees Chris approach the car. He still can't believe that this date is actually happening. When he sent that direct message over Twitter, he fully expected to be turned down. Camillo didn't even know if Chris was even interested in men like that let alone in himself. "You're looking great," he says with a smile as Chris enters the car. Now that he's in his presence, the nerves are already subsiding. "Well it's the first car that I bought myself. My uncle gave me his old 2004 Ford Taurus as my first car...it lasted about five months then gave up the ghost on the freeway. That was fun." Camillo chuckles and pulls away from the house, heading en route to the restaurant. "Hungry?"

"It's a good thing I'm not really into flashy cars, huh?" Chicago says while tapping on the dash of his little Honda Fit. He is from very humble beginnings so he's never had the luxury of even touching a sports car let alone drive one. Camillo chuckles when he hears Chris' stomach rumble. "Oh my! Well, I hope you like Italian. I have reservations at a great little restaurant. I mean, it's not as great as my Italian cooking. That's the real deal. I think home cooking is more of a second or third date kind of thing," Camillo says with a smile. Being an Italian himself, he knows that his home cooking is second to none. "Gotta admit...I was a little nervous about this. Been a while since I've been on a real date so forgive me if I'm a little rusty."

"Don't worry, I like it when you ramble on..." Camillo says with a friendly grin. He certainly finds Chris attractive and endearing, word vomit and all. The car stops at a set of traffic lights and smirks when he hears that Chris is a foodie. That is a huge plus for him. Camillo loves his food too. "That's great. I like a man who can eat...makes me feel less insecure about having an insatiable appetite." Camillo laughs and continues the journey when the lights turn green. When Chris says that he's never been asked out on a date and that it's his first with a guy, Camillo raises an eyebrow in surprise. "Really? Would've thought you'd have offers coming in left, right and centre...a cute guy like you..." Camillo smiles at Chris and gives him a gentle tap on the thigh.

"Well, growing up in an Italian household, I was always around food. Not cooking wasn't an option. We learned the difference between a Béarnaise sauce and a Hollandaise sauce the same time we learned how to add and subtract. Came in very handy when living on a student budget. I like to get creative in the kitchen," Camillo says with a smirk. He's used to living on little money and making it stretch over a long period of time. He's not only skilled with recipes but resourceful too. "Aggressive and hostile, huh? I don't see that at all. I bet you're always a little kitten." Camillo smiles and turns the car into a parking lot. "Fangirls? Oh no. I'm just starting out. I mean, I'm sure I have admirers out there but I'm hardly a player. My last relationship was..." Camillo stops talking as he parks the car, pondering over whether he wants to go into detail or not. It clearly wasn't a good experience. "Well, let's just say that I'm glad it's in the past."

Camillo steps out of the car and pays for the parking before walking with Chris. "Well...the Italian mobsters tend to be more rooted in the Italian-American aspect. Always stereotypical gangs from Brooklyn and Hells Kitchen. Can't say I know any of those guys. Both of my parents are 100% Italian and moved to Illinois back in the 80's. We're not your classic Italian-Americans. I'm first-generation immigrant, if you can't already tell by the accent." Camillo speaks English but has a thick Italian accent with only a very slight American twang that comes through. There's no denying that he hails from another country. "Oh and yes, my grandmother is like those ones you see in the movies and commercials. I gain so much weight when I go to see her!"

Camillo chuckles and steps foot into the restaurant, holding the door open for Chris. "I have a reservation under De Marco," he says to the doorman. The smartly dressed gentleman escorts the pair to their table by the window. The restaurant is definitely not an extremely upscale place but it's still pretty classy and far from a dive. Camillo doesn't have a lot of money but he still wants to make an effort. The waiter hands the boys their menu and asks if they would like another to drink while they're waiting. "I'll just have a water, thanks." He'd usually have a beer or wine when dining but he's driving today.

"My mother is a wonderful. I would like for you to meet her one day. My grandmother too...although her English...it's not so good. My father? Uhh...I don't have much contact with him. Not a very nice man. I have a song on my album called "Romano Blood" which sort of sums up him and the relationship we have." In the song, Camillo talks about how even though his surname is De Marco, he feels far more like his mother and her side of the family - the Romanos. On the subject of names, Camillo smiles and lets out a little chuckle when Chris says that he feels special knowing his whole name. He often forgets that the world knows him by a different moniker. "Oh yeah...well, my full name is Camillo Gabriele Tommaso De Marco if you want to feel EXTRA special." Camillo laughs and looks across the table at Chris, curious to know more about him. "What about you? What does is say on your birth certificate?" When Chris says that it's OK for Camillo to have a drink, he shakes his head and politely declines. "Thank you but I'd rather keep my sensible head on during a first date. Don't want to risk getting drunk. How embarrassing would that be? I also tend to get a little uh...frisky after some wine and umm...I think that's best saved for another time," he says with a wink.

"Aw, sorry to hear that...father's suck, it seems," Camillo says sympathetically. He doesn't know the extent of Chris' story but it's clear that they share the common bond of having terrible fathers. He laughs and plays around with the menu when Chris makes a remark regarding the length of his name. It's certainly very lengthy and it's not the first time he's heard the jokes. "Yeah, it's a bit of a mouthful. Thankfully most people seem to know me as Chicago nowadays." Camillo smiles and looks over the menu while listening to Chris. "Well, I might have a glass or two if we have a second date. That's if you want to go on one," he says with a smirk. He's surprised to hear that he's not a writer for TMZ but oddly relieved. "Oh, well that's even more impressive. Your own show? That's amazing. I can't say that I've watched it though. I'm not very...clued up on pop culture. I can barely tell the difference between a Joshua Grimmie and an Austin Nimmo." At the prospect of hosting, Camillo laughs and shakes his head. "I'm not sure. You think I'd be a good host?"

"The meaning of the stage name is twofold. It comes from a line in one of my songs and, also, a lot of the stories and issues in my songs are unsung youth anthems that get lost in the ether. A lot of the older generation and those in charge don't care about us and our future. We're "nobodies" to them...and I'm from Chicago. That's pretty much it." Camillo smiles, hoping that it made sense to Chris. "Also, I think it just sounds better than my real name. Camillo De Marco might sound all fancy to others but I've lived everyday with this name. It's boring to me. I think Chicago Nobody is cooler." Camillo looks over his menu, pondering over what to have. He looks up and smiles at Chris. "I might take you up on that offer. Don't people get mad at your show though? I mean, if you're making jokes and stuff. I don't want to end up arguing with someone really famous. I didn't get into music for that!" While Camillo is successful, with his one and only single being a #1 smash, he isn't your typical celebrity. He's not into the actual fame side of things. He could definitely live without media attention.

When the waiter comes over, Camillo lays his menu down and states his order. "Hi, I will have the Italian-styled spring rolls for starters and...the ravioli filled with smoked salmon and ricotta for the main. Oh and could you ask the chef to hold back on the seasoning with the ravioli? I find salmon salty enough. Thank you." Camillo certainly knows his food.
