I'm a fan of The Killers so this month is gonna be great for me with the release of the live CD/DVD from the royal albert hall out on monday and then a covers album out on the 30th November which apparently includes a cover of The Eagles huge hit Hotel California.
I was wondering if anyone else was a fan of The Killers and looking forward to this month. |

This month is Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Rhianna Adam Lambert, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson and The Killers month actually. I love the Killer, I can't say I'm a fan but I do own a lot of their music. I love them. I also love their music videos. But they do remind me a lot of Maroon 5 for some reason. I LOVE THE KILLERS!!!!! Been a fan every since I was 12, and I'm almost 14 now! I love every song, and I know every song! I don't know anyone who is a bigger fan than I am! And no one is! I can't wait for their new christmas single, for their video album, their Eagle's cover, and hopefully their fourth album, which I'll be guessin' will be out sometime next year, since each studio album of theirs has a 2 year interval. |

Ever since I saw them on the OC, my two-fold reaction has been: a) This band is not interesting b) this show is not interesting. The latter point introducing a new question as to why I was watching it in the first place, and well, I honestly do not have a good answer for that. |

Ughhh, what a shame. What the f*ck? A musician now has to hit themselves with an object in order to be considered an artist? What is an artist, because I have lost my understanding of an artist. You don't think this is art?

im not a fan of the killers at all... they have erm three songs i like and the rest are just bland bland bland and horrible... no idea why they are as big as they are. EDIT - i have looked at Gildy's lastfm and i approve, some amazing songs and bands on there.... no idea what you people are crackin on about. The Flaming lips alone have a much better right to the title of "best band around at the minute" even though their later albums are terrible compared to the early stuff... Hey if you can be honest about our music than I can be honest about yours. I'd be interested to hear more, because I'm not sure how you could formulate such a comparison so quickly and definitively, one assumes without hearing any of it. Not sure I agree with that sentiment at all, their early stuff is largely terrible (Hear it is, etc) compared to Clouds Taste Metallic, The Soft Bulletin and Yoshimi.
