Kara laughs, feeling like they could continue back and forth all evening she concedes with one final retort, “It’s not a fucking pizza” she shakes her head, “It’s outstanding whatever it is, but it’s not a pizza. Fuck, it’s better than a New York pizza, I’ll even give you that, but you’ve really got to stop calling it a pizza, just call it a mozzarella pie or some shit and we’re good.” She laughs once more, continuing to go back to the food because despite their disagreements, it was outstanding.

She nodded enthusiastically as he appeared to be on board with the tour idea, “It just makes sense, right? It’s been a couple of years since my world tour, we hit up a co-headline deal, I go on first, you go on last and then I come out at the end of your set and we both close out the show with our collab stuff?” She was excited about the idea, especially given the work they have done together on their unreleased collection of tracks due out pretty soon. “A name? Shit, putting me on the spot.” She says as she tries to quickly come up with something, “I got nothing, but I’m sure we can figure something out.”

She continues tucking into the food and drink, “It’s good, I’m not a huge ice cream person, but I think the ginger ale and kick from the liquor really hits nice.” She says, taking another sip of the drink for confirmation. As they finish up the meal and drink, she nods approvingly at the choice of food and drink. “Sounds good, although I’m still holding you on that plan to get me messy.” She says with a laugh, standing from her chair and following Nire to his car. “We drinking tonight? What's the plan?" she says, taking his hand as they make their way back to the car.

Kara laughs a little at the suggestion of her headlining, “Shit, I don’t fuck with all that posturing stuff. We can do it anyway you’d like, but I think you going on last and bringing me back out to close things together would be fucking perfect.” She shrugs her shoulders, “But I ain’t too fussed about the minor details. Weird, Knuckles was always my guy!”. She knew a tour together would be a once in a lifetime sort of experience for their fans and so was already super excited about the prospect even at this early stage.
“Oh definitely sour over sweet.” She says as he poses the question about her personal tastes, “I do like sweet stuff too, but for some reason Ice Cream ain’t really it for me. I don’t mind it, but it’s not top of my list.”

She takes the sights and sounds of the City as Nire drives them back through the City and into his home, it was certainly private and secluded. She smiled as the car pulled up into the driveway, “Shit, this place is nice. Private and not too over the top and trashy.” She says as he leads her into his home, “Sounds good.” She says as he lays out his plans and then poses the idea of them skipping the clubs, “Yeah? I’m good with that, take me to the game.” She says, as she finishes putting her bags into one of the rooms before continuing, “Come back here and give me your best game.” She says with a devilish smile, running her hand playfully down his arm.

Kara nods her head at his reasoning, “Yeah, I don’t mind how it works out. We gotta be calling it a co-headlining tour though, maybe alternate or change it up sometimes.” She laughs a little as he calls her a sour patch kid, “Fuck, you really gonna play me like that? Sour patch kid!” she laughs once more, shaking her head, “Nah, but if we’re talking desert, like Lemon Sorbet over Ice Cream, that sort of thing. I like that tingle on the tongue.” She says with a laugh, “And of course a lemon or lime with my alcohol, Whiskey sour or Tequila and Lime, that’s my shit right there!” she says, clarifying her preference of sour over sweet.

As Kara looks around the place, she laughs a little as it felt like he was showing a guest around an Airbnb. “You try telling yourself you’re sleeping alone these next few weeks.” She says with an emphatic clapping of her hands, as she follows him around for the tour. She nods as Nire asks whether she wanted to kill a couple of hours by listening to some of his recent tracks, “Yeah, show me to your lab. I’d love to hear what you’ve been creating in here. I can always use some inspiration and can’t think of anyone better to provide it!”

“Shit, I appreciate you giving me my flowers, I really do. But come on, I’ve worked with you a fucking hell of a lot over this past year and I would love even just a percentage of your natural ability for this craft.” She shrugs her shoulders, “A lot of the successful shit that’s come my way these past few years have a lot to do with luck and timing, believe me.” She says with an accepting smile, “But yeah, if we’re doing this tour we’re going to fucking do this thing right, we go big, right?” she says with a smile, “I’ll figure out the details of it and organise a meeting with Just Record to get the ball rolling.”
She laughs a little at the sour patch kid analogy, “Shit, I think you’ve got me figured out there.” She shakes her head, “I always did have commitment issues.” She says with a giggle, considering his question about water ice, “Nah, I don’t think so. I think you need to open up my world for these next few weeks.”

Her eyes widen at his comment, she liked to give a little back and forth when it came to talking a good game but loved the assertiveness in his statement. She knew she was no shrinking violet in the bedroom but knew from past experience that Nire could certainly back up his claims, “Holy shit, that’s a bold statement. Watch me try to resist.” She says with a smirk, knowing fully well she’d put up a good showing but ultimately be out of her depth.
She nods and follows his lead as he takes her to the studio, excited about the prospect of feeling inspired from hearing his newest efforts, she laughs a little at the irony of the game being Detroit vs Brooklyn, “Loving the confidence, I just hope the Mets put on a good display so you can take your frustrations out on me later.” She says laughing and playfully biting her bottom lip.

“The crazy thing is, anybody gets asked who the best rapper in the industry is, your name is always top of that list.” She says, understanding that Nire has never been one to play the whole popularity contest game in the industry, it’s an aspect she admired and she considered him someone with incredible integrity, “Shit, that’s the only way we do it. I’m pretty sure Just Record will back it up.” She says with a smile, “Did you finally get around to signing with them or are you still figuring the label thing out?”
She smiled at his comment about tapes and interviews and laughed a little, “You’re probably the only one that does have me figured out.” She said confidently. It was her natural instinct to keep her cards close to her chest and not give too much away, but over the past year or two, there’s no denying that Kara and Nire have found a connection with each other and an understanding, it always felt like they were on the same page from day one. She smiled as he kissed her forehead, “Show me baby.”

As they drove to the studio with a little background music on in the car, she nodded along, taking in the area they were driving through. Their back and forth conversations continued and his talk about a potential bet and forfeit was definitely appealing to the sexually charged nature of Kara’s personality, she was very much an open book in that aspect. “Fuck it, you’re on. I back my team, you back yours. Whoever loses is fully submissive to the winners wants and needs.” She laughs a little, “I know what shit you’d have planned, but I see this as a win win situation for me.”
She followed him through the building and into the studio, sitting down at the mixing desk she waited for him to show what he had been cooking up recently.

Kara laughs, “You can talk to him about the tour. I need to talk to him about my next album too, so I’ll double down on the tour plans too.”
She smiles, it’s true that it took a while for things to figure themselves out to Kara, she tried different genres early on, even tried her hand at acting but eventually things seemed to click, “I appreciate that, you sometimes forget about the road you were on to get to this point. It’s good to be reminded.”

She sits back in the chair, making herself comfortable, “Yeah, maybe this is the easiest bet either of us will ever make.” She says with a smirk as she listens to the instrumental with a smile. “Fuck, that’s good.” She says excitedly, “love the sax in the opening bars, gives off a chill late night vibe and then go right into the beat. Sounds fire. You onto something special with that!”

Kara laughs a little at his comment about leaving the country, “What the fuck do you have in store for me?!” she says loudly, unable to help but wonder what sort of bet she had gotten herself into. “It’s a good thing I’m fucking fearless.” She says with a smirk as they settle into their seats to watch the game.
She emphatically finished off her beer as Nire get her another drink and suggested her team needed motivation, “I’m not sure even I’ve got the powers to inspire this side to victory.” She said reluctantly, having a feeling she was going to be losing this bet.

She shook her head as the game ended in Detroit taking the victory, “Fuck.” She says as she looks at Nire taking in the joys of his teams victory. She stands to her feet, jokingly holding her hands behind her back and playfully giving an innocent look to Nire, “I guess I gotta accept the loss.” She says shaking her head, “Seriously though, what the fuck have you got in store?” she says quizzically.

Kara laughed as Nire teased different potential outcomes, “You know I’m a pretty open book.” She says confidently before continuing, “You can go through my photo reel. I’ve never dressed up in a furry suit but I have dressed in leather for some dude’s weird kink.” She laughs trying her best to show her openness, “I’ve told you the truth about some fantasies and kinks but definitely not everything. I’m not crazy about the embarrassing video idea because I’ve a reputation to keep in check.” She says with a laugh.

As they arrive at his home and make their way inside, Kara makes herself comfortable and settles down on the couch with a drink, “Shit, we doing a Q+A?” she says, taking a mouthful of her drink before listening to him, “Best sexual experience? It was in Europe with a guy I was dating at a time, we didn’t date for very long, I think we were in Madrid during a tour early in my career. We had an off-day, so nothing to do and decided to check into a much more luxurious hotel. I think we both knew we were coming to the end of the relationship, so pretty much spent the day in that hotel room. I think we just let out our frustrations on each other and went off in that hotel room, he threw me around like crazy, I left a few scratches and marks on him too. But yeah, it was a wild way to end a relationship. What I learnt from it?” She says with a laugh "I guess that tension sort of turns me on." she says, ready for more invasive questions.

Kara felt confident enough that she could back up a statement like that and she figured Nire knew this would be the case too, she laughed slightly, “I didn’t mind the leather but the whole dom thing is something I can do, but I’m not like wild about that. I definitely prefer the guy to take the lead.” She already felt like Nire knew her well enough to probably know the answers, but she did like the idea of having to be as brutally honest and open. “My fans can be pretty strange, you get them on your side and I’m probably fucked.”

She thought about it and nodded, “Yeah, I think it was a combination of things that made it so good. That frustration was just building over the weeks and I think that was our way of letting it all out on each other.” She laughs, “It wasn’t quite as juvenile as that. But yeah, there was definitely an element of hate sex there towards the end. It made for great sex but I would not recommend.” She shakes her head in exasperation at the whole ordeal. She takes a couple of mouthfuls of her drink and considers the next question, “That’s a tricky one, it’s more about a feeling or a vibe for me. But I thought Scar was pretty hot for a fictional animated lion.” She says with a laugh, shrugging her shoulders.

Kara laughs, “They would worship you like a god if you release some shit they’ve never seen before.” She shakes her head, “They’re really fucking crazy sometimes, you gotta be careful out there.” She says with a smirk. She wondered how they’d react if Kara did ever feel like taking her situationship with Nire to the next level and make it public.
She laughs, “Oh, I’ve done it and I don’t mind. But it’s definitely not my own personal preference.” She shrugs, “It can be fun though.” She listened to him talk about his own experiences with hate sex, “It just sort of happened, we weren’t fully into hate at that point. But we were falling out a lot and just coming to the end of the relationship. It was just like one final blow-out with each other. I can’t say it wasn’t passionate and it made for great sex but it was only like that because we had both given up on each other.”

Kara ponders the question that has been asked so many times, “I don’t honestly know. I think it was a little bit of everything, that evil streak, the voice and the dark dangerous look about him.” She laughs a shakes her head, “Honestly, my therapist would have a field day with this shit. Between hate sex and having a weird crush on a villain character, she’d be charging double sessions.”
