Amy laughs a little, “I’ve had my time at the top, I know what it’s like to fly a little too close to the sun and besides I’d be too afraid to lose my smile.”. She considers Lydia’s question, pretending to ponder on the thought a little more longer than necessary, “Uhm, we never really crossed paths back in the day.” She laughs, “But I think she was a fan of our band, I’m sure she covered one of our songs at some stage.” She says, trying her best to think back to those days but no specific memories of them crossing paths came to mind, “But I will formally write to your people to request the services of your travelling musical troupe.” She says emphatically.

Amy nods, “Yeah, they were pretty popular at the time, they were a Welsh band. We toured together a few times with them, they were established even before us.” She says, thinking back to a time before the band was a little hazy in her memory, “I mean, there were definitely feelings there but I think we both knew something wasn’t quite right.” She says shrugging before laughing, “Fucking took me long enough to figure it out.” She shrugs once more at the status of band members Lydia highlights to her, “Hey, I don’t go for the popular choice. Find me a pretty glockenspiel player and I will date the shit out of them.”

She laughs at the comment about Lydia starting at the top, “You’re a high achiever, I like it!” she says with a smirk, “Yeah, we’ve really gotta be careful” she says, pointing out the various camera’s in the room before listening to Lydia talk about her film role, she sits upright suddenly letting out a small laugh, “Shit, really?” she says, knowing that although her brief relationship with Maddie was public knowledge, their relationship wasn’t massively publicised or scrutinised, “I mean, that’s amazing news on the movie and everything. I can see you doing intense horror pretty well.” She lets out another small laugh, “I sort of KNOW Maddie fairly well.” She says, pressing her lips together to try to stifle another laugh.

"dude.if we ever break up,it has to end with a super kick. even better if one of us says i'm sorry,i love you." lydia giggles brightly before kissing amy's nose. lydia hoped if it came down to it, amy would be doing the kicking. as she didnt have that sort of balance. lydia was sure her band would jump at the chance to perform with amy. thinking of the history that existed,lydia couldnt help but poke a little fun at her girlfriend's long stint in music. "amy meyer with the harlots opening?" lydia asks with a playfully arched eyebrow. "that would break the nostalgia circuit." lydia was excited for this to happen. even though she knew the likelihood of her bandmates trying to embarrass her in front of amy wasnt zero. being the youngest by a few years,the other harlots did tend to treat her like a little sister.

lydia listens,her eyes going wide when amy says dead roses was big even before riot. amy was already a rock goddess by the time lydia started paying attention to things outside of memphis.lydia squeezes amys arm while she speaks about trying to figure out was was wrong. "i guess some people just always know and other take a while to get there. me? it was realizing i was dating this guy just to be around his sister more. theres a joke about the south there,but.." now,lydia shrugs with a little giggle. at the mention of the off the beaten path instrument players,lydia playfully narrows her eyes. " i'll have to keep an eye on you around the 5 that probably still exist." lydia grins, really having no idea what the instrument is outside the setting on keyboards.

lydia listens and her mouth slowly drops open when amy mentions she REALLY knows maddie. lydia and maddie had spent time on set together.but given the roles,they tried not to really talk too much outside of shoots. lydia does blush slightly at the praise. " i like to think i did a good job. though i dont know if i should be "good" at this." lydia grins,since the role was something a bit different than a slasher."oh...well..maddie definitely has a clear mental picture of us going at it..." lydia giggles. "she and i spent so much time naked and covered in fake blood together." lydia playfully stops giggling and smacks amy's arm. " hey! you stop picturing she and i together!"

Amy laughs, “Oh my god, my heart couldn’t deal with the sadness of being the one to deliver the superkick.” Although slightly different in styles, Amy did have some punk rock roots that would be fun to revert back to whenever the tour eventually kicked off and having The Harlots open would make for an incredible tour, “Holy fuck, I’m actually a nostalgia act?” she shakes her head playfully, “I’m Rod Stewart … shit!” She says, placing her hand over her mouth in shock disbelief at this sudden revelation. She had no idea when this tour would take place, but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have The Harlots join her on the road, it would make for some fun adventures.

Amy smiles curiously, “Oh really? Just how dark are talking, because I see you fitting into a horror movie perfectly. I cannot wait to see this, despite the obvious conflict of interests.” she says with enthusiasm. Amy laughs nervously, “I guess the premiere could be pretty awkward? Assuming you’re taking me as you plus one. You might not want to, having seen what Maddie has to offer!” she says with a laugh, knowing that it was difficult to compete with Maddie’s obvious alure.
Amy listens as Lydia discloses some information about her scenes with Maddie, “Ok, this is just getting so fucking weird!” she says with an exasperated laugh as Lydia playfully smacks Amy’s arm, “I don’t know whether to be worried, angry or turned on!”

"ew! no!" lydia exlaims,making a face,her bright red lipstick making the expression look very exaggerated." anything but rod stewart! my mom LOVES him. you know who had to take a school picture in a rod stewart shirt when they were 6? " she cackles with laughter and turning a little red. that was the sort of thing that stuck with a kid.lydia was surprised she turned out as normal as she did. lydia takes both of amy's hands and speaks soothingly. "oh no no no,sweetie. you're one of the cool nostalgia acts. like when blink182 toured again. we can even look for aliens if you want." lydia grins,picturing the harlots and amy hunting for aliens set to early 2000's pop punk.

"well...you ever see the movie,i spit on your grave? its about that dark. before the world went to shit,it may have even made the news." lydia says with an impish grin and a shrug of her shoulders. inherently,she was anything but a villain,but lydia did enjoy causing trouble." the premier being awkward!?" lydia asks with wide eyes at amy. "i've being hit with so much retroactive awkwardness! i just learned i spent a better art of a few months slithering all over my girlfriend's ex. i'll be hiding behind YOU at the premier." lydia giggles,now blushing deeply and hiding her face in amys neck. "it gets weirder." lydia's muffled voice is heard. " erica's sister mariko seems to know maddie as well. there is too much ....intermingling!" she giggles. she was interesting knowing more about amy and maddie but wasnt sure if it would be prying.

Amy laughs a little, “I think there’s definitely a show in there somewhere. We could travel around the world looking for different mythical creatures, loch ness, big foot.” She shrugs, “It’s worrying how fun that actually sounds to me.” She throws her hands up in the air in disbelief, “I used to be a rockstar, god dammit!”

Amy listens as Lydia hints at the extreme nature of the film, “Okay, now I’m a little worried.” She says half-jokingly, still not quite sure what to expect from the whole thing. Amy laughs at Lydia’s realisation of the situation, “Oh, you were slithering all over her were you?! Just how intense were those scenes?” she says with a playful grin in an attempt to revel in Lydia’s discomfort of the whole debacle.
Amy thinks for a second at the mention of Mariko’s name, slightly sheepish now, Amy slowly nods, “Uh, yeah. I’m aware of Maddie’s connections to Mariko.” She says, trying to stifle a slight giggle at the absurdity, “Mariko used to date our friend Cara at the same time me and Maddie were in a relationship together.” She says, trying to think of the best way of wording things, “There may have been the occasional, brief crossover.” She says, letting the information hang in the air a little.
