Kara laughs, “Oh, If I went down the OnlyFans route I would have so much more fucking money!” she says, although her music career was now relatively lucrative, she knew her fans were a little insane. She laughs once more, “Hey, I don’t want you cutting locks of my hair or any weird shit like that, though.”

She nods, “Yeah, I don’t think there’s any sort of crazy weird crushes from me.” She says, taking another sip of her drink, “There were a couple of relationships that didn’t work out but probably would have at a different time period. When I first came into the industry I was a total neurotic mess, so yeah there’s one or two from that time that probably didn’t get the best of me.” She says, although not throwing out specific names, in general she felt like a completely different person now than she was when she first came into the industry.

She laughs as he throws another question her way, “Not really, I guess if I’ve been interested in anyone I’ve always tried to pursue it.” She tries her best to think back and give a substantial answer, “You and I met each other briefly a couple of times before we ever worked together, I was definitely enamoured by you right away. You drew me in with that chilled out personality.” She laughs once more, “I knew I’d definitely want to be fucked by you or at the very least see what you got going for yourself.”

A couple of weeks later, Kara and Younghood were back in New York, having eventually turned their situationship into an official relationship after a year or more of vibing with each other. They were in and out of the studio themselves, having just dropped their first collection of tracks together in the form of an E.P and were determined to keep on working together while the inspiration was there.

However, it was another project of Younghood's that was occupying his time as he had been enlisted to produce some tracks for Jadyn Ghalen in New York for his debut album. Jadyn was already at 'Penthouse Recording Studios' in Manhattan, New York, awaiting the arrival of Younghood and likely with Kara, as well as their label mate Thick Mouse who was arriving with the intention of potentially featuring on a track with Jadyn.

Thick Mouse came in first with a fur hoodie and furry boots with a crop top with leggings coming in. While she has been developing his sound and music she still hasn't produced anything big as she recently released Ten, her first drop and was planning on having am EP this summer. "Jadyn what's going my guy?" She said giving him a hug.

She wasn't alone with jadyn for long as Younghood came in a few minutes after her with a really professional look in a suit and tie with dress shoes. "Yo, what's good y'all," his fit was much different but he had just came back from meetings as he officially signed to a new label and so after the meetings he came straight over.

Jadyn had been impressed with “Ten” and “Thicc Girl”, he liked the back and forth between Thick Mouse and Murda Bling on the most recent track and having met her on the ‘Orion’ tour in January and seen her performances he thought there was potential for a great collab between them. Although it was very much relaxed, nothing locked in but if they came up with something great, if not it wasn’t a problem. He placed his joint in the ashtray as she came into the room, “Shit, you rocking the fur? East Coast weather ain’t playin, huh?” he says as he leans across a chair and gives her a hug, “You feeling good?” he asks, making a spot for her to take a seat, taking his joint and picking back up where he left off.

Jadyn made an enthusiastic howl as Younghood came into the room, fully tailored. He stood up and greeted his friend with a handshake, “You good, man?” he asks, “Where you just came from cause I know that look ain’t your studio vibe.” He says with a slight chuckle. He gestured to Thick Mouse, “Now that’s how you show up to a studio session.” He says in reference to her fur hoodie and boots. "You been on business?" He asks.

She laughed at how she came in with fur on but she flipped her hair to the side with west coast fare and smirked "I'm a Cali girl now so this cold weather is not for me. I thought I left this when I got famous." She has never been one to be around cold weather. Anything under 70 degrees and she was wrapping up. But she also wanted to look cute everywhere. "I'm feeling good play boy, I hear you doing your own thing. Ready to break out huh?" She asked interested in what would be a different experience from him.

Nire gave him a handshake and brought him in for a pound "What's good man, shit you know the vibes don't matter what I got on me I going to look fly my boy. I was just getting up some meetings and getting some stuff in order you know how it is. Business is a big part of music." Nire gave Thick Mouse a hug as he has been helping her since her first big break so they have developed a brother sister relationship. "Thick, I didn't think you would come to cold parts of the country what did Jadyn do to bribe you to come out?" He said teasingly. She just scoffed and pointed his chest, "I would have you know I went to Detroit to see you thank you very much."

Jadyn laughed, “I got you, girl.” He said, taking a hit from his joint before passing it across to her, unsure whether she partook he nodded, “I hear that. Shit, I grew up in the cold but I been in California too long.” although he was raised in Detroit, he had lived in California for the past five years and had grown accustomed to that lifestyle. He nodded as she showed interest in his future plans, “Yeah, we on our own vibe now. We said we’d put out that last record, tour it and then do our own shit for a while.” He nodded, before returning the interest. “How about you? I caught your stuff on tour, you looking like you’re ready to blow em’ up.”

Jadyn nodded as Nire talked about Business and music going hand in hand, “I hear that. Shit ain’t worth our time if we ain’t reaping the rewards.” Jadyn was very much driven by the financial aspect of what he did, it was important to him to understand his worth. In his view, there was no benefit of being critically acclaimed but be struggling financially. He also believed in bringing those that he trusted up with him whenever he could, support acts on tour, producers, collaborators were always handsomely paid for their time and efforts. Jadyn laughed a little at the back and forth between Thick Mouse and Younghood. “I hear Kara’s dropping by too, I hear you guys are legit now?”

"Fun in the sun never hurt anybody." She said with a smile on her face as they talked about her own ideas and creative ventures, "Man that tour was a lot of fun. Meeting new people and just getting to see the world like that, it was my first time getting a passport." It was a new experience on being overseas for her something she never thought she would do in her life. "Shit, I don't know I want to make more music but nothing has really gotten to me, you know I'm hoping that with all of us here can kind of give me a spark." Song writing as never been her strength and while she has been working on it, she knows she will have to improve more as a song writer so people won't just look at her body as the reason she is still around.

Nire laughed at her "Ah so that's why you came to the cold. If you wanted some help you could have just asked me," Nire knew about Thick Mouse struggles with lyrics and has helped her early in her career with it but she shook her head. "I'm a big girl and can handle myself." Nire nods and then turns his attention to Jadyn "Yeah man I think it is great that all of you guys are talented enough to do your thing, you guys know what you need to do, you just have to do it." He had confidence that they were all talented enough to do well on their own and the time apart would make them coming together be even more impactful the next time they work together. "Well what can I say she really matches my frequency." Noticing that Thick hasn't taken a hit he reaches for Jadyn's blunt and took a hit of it before giving it back to him. "Well let's get this thing planned out and tell us what you looking for Jadyn. What you trying to cook up?"

“It’s how we do it in California” he says, as he receives the joint back from her and takes another hit. Despite Jadyn’s confidence and single minded-ness he was always willing to support anybody with talent and dedication to their craft, he had received that same support from those that were higher on the totem pole when Orion first started out and was more than happy to keep that tradition going. “You know where I’m at, I can connect you to creative people, influential people, business people. All that shit.” He says, in an offer of support to help her find that spark. “What do you think you’re missing?” he says, with genuine interest.

Jadyn nodded as Thick Mouse told Nire she could handle herself, he gave a smirk at her confidence, without realising it, she had just showcased her strongest quality in that moment. He nodded as Younghood spoke about them finding their own feet as individual artists, it was always the plan for them to do a couple of albums together and then figure out their own paths. “We’re all on different vibes, putting a record together ain’t the easiest. I’m ready to get into my own groove this time out.”
Jadyn took another hit from the joint, placing it back down before considering Younghood’s question, “Right now, I’m feeling a low-fi RnB sort of vibe that I want to get into. People been expecting high-tempo trap shit all the time, I wanna show that I can rap over something slower and more melodic, y’know?”

As he sits with Younghood at the desk, Kara walks into the room. Casually dressed in jeans and a t-shirt with a leather jacket, she places a hand on Thick Mouse’s shoulder and gives her a smile, “Hey girlie, how’s it going?” she says, giving Younghood and Jadyn a chance to finish their discussion before greeting them.

Thick turned around and saw Kara and gave her a hug, "My girl, what is up with you!" she was very proud of Kara and the work that she put into her music. "Things have been going good. I'm just trying to get a spark on my music. Congrats on the EP with hood so how accurate is the title on that work," she was surprised that hood would be dating again but she could tell that this was a better match for him and what he was looking for in a partner, unlike his other dates.

Nire listened to how Jadyn wanted his music sound to be like as he sat down and started to freestyle on the piano. Low-fi beat, as he continued to mess around he ended on a slow beat that had space for Jadyn to have a hip hop and R&B feel to it. "What do you think about this one right here?"

Kara smiles as Thick Mouse greets her, it was nice for her to not just be hanging with the boys for once. “Girl, you’ll find it.” She says before laughing a little, “Shit, it took me like ten years to figure it out. With the stuff you’ve put out there, you’re already ahead of where I was.” She says with a reassuring smile. She was a very supportive person with hype woman type qualities. She laughs a little at the comment about her and Younghood, “It’s pretty accurate, he’s managed to find a way to lock me down.” She shakes her head in mock disbelief, she’s never been a relationship type of person and has always been pretty independent, so it was definitely new territory for her. “How about you? Shit must be going crazy right now, you can’t sell me on that focused on myself bullshit, they gotta be lining up round the block?.”

Jadyn watched on as Nire tried to figure out the right type of sound, he listened and nodded, “That’s definitely the vibe, if you can lay that melody down for like three, four minutes and loop a subtle beat underneath that shit, I think I can fuck with that.” He says, confident that Nire was capable of delivering what he was looking for. He greeted Kara as she sat down in the booth with the three of them, watching them work a few ideas back and forth, occasionally chiming in with her critique.

Thick smiled at Kara, "Thanks girl, I mean success doesn't always come over night but you had had quite the rise haven't you. I'm glad that you are finally getting your flowers now finally." As they listened in to Nire making music on the computer she gave some of her two cents but she was always impressed by Nire ear and how he was able to create off the fly like that.

Nire was able to incorporate some of their feedback and create something for Jadyn. "How do you like this now if it's good, and you want to remix it you have to put me on the remix." He jokes while continuing to adjust and get the pitch right. "So what is the story to this new project? Is there a theme through out?" What he has learned from some of the artists come with some kind of theme or concept when coming up with their art to make it easier.

Kara nodded “Took some time to figure my shit out but it’s been good these last few years.” She occasionally halted the conversation to listen in to some of what Nire and Jadyn were doing before returning back to her conversation with Thick Mouse, “How’s the Just Record gang working out for you?” she says with a smile. She knew how supportive they had been with Kara finding her lane over the years.

Jadyn listened and nodded as the track played with the adjustments made, “I fuck with it, I do.” He says approvingly, “I got you in mind, but I don’t want to bring something to the table that ain’t something special. We jump on a track together, it’s gotta be worth that hype.” He says confidently, knowing that they will both collaborate on a track at some stage but didn’t want to just do it for the sake of doing it. He wanted it to have a feeling of two worlds colliding.
He considered Nire’s question about themes but with it being his first solo effort, it was an opportunity to showcase what he can do without trying to fit into a certain narrative or theme, “One day, but this round I’m just going old school record making. Recording a ton of shit and we putting the best of the best on the record. Keep it simple for that debut record, y’know?”

She smiled thinking about her journey to get where she is right now. "Shit, if I get to as big as you are right now then I will be more than happy with everything that is happening. I feel like I haven't hit mainstream yet, like everyone is just checking on me because of my looks and that's fine but I want to do more than just shaking ass and titties." In her opinion, the music that she has been creating has been mostly that and what she needed was a different sound and material to get her to that next level. "things have been going okay with the label, There are as hands-off as you want but they don't have like guidelines or anything. I mean it's good that I have all this freedom and space to create whatever but it's not like we have a machine to press a button and all of a sudden you have a number 1 single. This stuff isn't faked but it's hard." She had a weird time expressing her views on it with this being her first deal and nothing to compare it to it was different than she expected. "You had other deals before what is it like compared to this?"

"I feel you, this is your first one so experiment, see what you like what you don't music you vibe with, styles you want to bring up. You're not in a box so really you can go wild and see what people are feeling." He didn't have a problem with it putting good music out in the world is god music and he has the creative freedom to do whatever so it doesn't have to be something so structured and layered.

Kara nodded as Thick Mouse spoke and a lot of the uncertainty was definitely familiar to Kara’s own experience when she came into the music industry. “You can only control so much of how you’re perceived. You can put out deep and introspective shit and change that narrative a little, but there’s always going to be people that will focus on your looks, no matter what type of music you make.” She thought for a second about what good advice she could offer, “Honestly, the best thing you can do is just ride out the vibe wherever it takes you. Right now, you’re still pretty new, maybe put out a couple of tracks that are so far away from the ass and titties type of shit and see how it plays out.” She considers her advice before adding her own experience, “Shit, those type of songs are good but they don’t sustain a career of work. If you can make every release something different enough from the last, then I think you’re onto a good thing.” She laughs a little at the question about record deals, “Fuck, I had a deal with Studio60 when I was 17 and thought my lane was alternative rock!” she says with another fit of laughter, “I didn’t know who I was and they sure as fuck didn’t know what to do with me.”

Jadyn listens to Younghood’s input, “Seems like everything has to have some theme or tone. Brayton was too into that shit on the Orion albums. Man, I just wanna record a ton of stuff and put the best of that shit on the album. Lay down some tracks and figure out what I wanna say on em’ later.” He says confidently. Kara laughs a little before chiming in, “Hey, just don’t be giving away all the good beats. We got a whole fucking album to do ourselves, Nire!”

Nire laughed as he smoked, listening to Jadyn as he was in his producer's bag. "Nah man, people just want what is real. If you drop some heat, it don't matter what is going on in the background. You could come out with a folk polka album if you do you and put yourself in it, the people are going to feel it and rock with it. Just like I Thick. She been sitting on her music like people aren't going to feel it, like she outgrown the shit but that's her and give people a chance to look at you. Your crazy stuff, your wacky stuff, your emotional stuff, like that's what people want a chance to get to connect and vibe with what you have."

Thick went up to Nire and hit him, on his shoulder "Thanks for putting out my business Nire. Like damn, weren't you in a rap beef and you scrapped a whole project where's that work?" "The music is still on the hard drive but the lyrics are gone. Thankfully I have some cooler heads get me straight but I'm not going to say that all of it was bad. That did push me, times when I was going to quit, times when I was going to go into just making music, leaving music all together, it was having that bar and that goal to really get me on my grind and say 'These rappers aren't better than me, he isn't better than me." Nire has often spoken about his rivalry with Westbrook. He even wanted to be better as a rapper when Westbrook and Kara collab and then collab with him. "Don't let Kara fool you, I think she 100% knew about that and that's why she came to me second cause she knew I was going to try and outdo him and give more to the project."

Jadyn nodded as Nire spoke, he listened when Nire spoke because he spoke from a place of experience in all aspects of this industry, “Fuck, my mentality is that I put in the work to justify some of the arrogant shit that I say. Make sure I can back my own talk up with the work.” He says, laughing slightly but he was being truthful, he wanted to make sure that he could back up whatever cocky attitude he had. He nodded and laughed a little as Thick confronted Nire about putting her business out there, “He’s right though, you can get too precious over your own shit, just because it’s got your name attached to it. Put as much shit out there, that’s the only way you’re going to know if people fuck with it or not, y’know?” he says to Thick, offering his own advice on her situation.

Kara took the joint from Nire’s hand and took a hit before passing it back to him, she nodded as the spoke and then laughed a little as Nire mentioned Drew and Kara’s collab, “Fuck, you got me on that one.” She says, laughing a little more. “Everybody’s so fucking friendly with each now though, I think you need that friction to drive you on a little and try to push yourself.” She says, relaxing back in her chair slightly, “You’re right though. I didn’t feel like there was any chemistry between me and Drew on that track but I knew that just the idea that he was on a track would get a different vibe from you, it’s all competition at the end of the day. If I said, yeah we recorded a track together but didn’t really get along, then you might not have brought it like you did.”
