It’s a quiet, easy afternoon.
David has just set his Xbox controller back in its place — Baldur’s Gate has already claimed enough hours for today. A few work calls are behind him now, interviews here and there with the online group.
Soon he’ll need to get ready for the upcoming radio interviews, now that Edelweiss has finally been released.
All of this pulls his mind back to the pandemic years — a difficult time, yet somehow a golden age for the group. He missed being with the others. A lot. But sometimes paths have to split for the right reasons… or at least, that’s what he told himself.
He doesn’t dwell on the why. He feels grown, grounded, and just as happy as he was back then — only now without a pandemic, and with a bit more freelance work on his plate.
Triple the happiness, really.
He’s just stepped out of the shower, his face mask still on. But… is he running late? Someone is on their way over, and tonight is about to be very different from the usual routine.
