Oh, right, forgot about Canada :P
Puxa-Sacos is a popular slang for 'ass-kissers'.

I was being all literalist. You said you were "bored to buggery". So I took it out of context and asked if you were giving or taking. I almost added that you'd have to be pretty damn bored to taking but ended up not bothering.

So, I wrote this tonight:

The progenitors are an ancient largely extinct race of hyper-intelligent warm-blooded feathered reptilians that evolved an extremely unusual trait of mutability, directly bearing offspring whose genetic structure is so vastly different from their own even within one generation. How they evolved and where they originate from is a mystery.

They stand 10-12 feet tall, and bear primitive protofeathers, elongated soft scales, that give them an almost avian appearance. They are predominantly bipedal, though they are also capable of quadrupedal motion. Though they have developed a unique limbic system, their brains are still largely dominated by the R-Complex which governs their paranoid, greedy nature, as well as their extremely adaptive instincts. Their equivalent to a neo-cortex would be virtually unrecognisable to a human scientist, being able to adapt extremely quickly to new behaviours and tasks, as well as having a unique ability to intrinsically observe and imitate other species’ sensory perception and responses. Their abilities border on empathic telepathy, and this, along with their insatiable, almost-perverse curiosity makes them extremely dangerous to other civilisations in the galaxy.

The Progenitor reproductive cycle is complex as their empathic ability dictates the genetic form of the offspring, and therefore the stability of the embryo. The majority of eggs never make it to term, and some that do produce young unfit for survival. Curiously, the mutable genetic reproduction seems limited to the first generation, and the variation between spawnings often precludes cross-breeding. In essence the Progenitors birth entirely new species.

Just back in from spending the day with Jason. We drove to like the middle of nowhere and listened to awesome music and just enjoyed being together. I love having never felt this way about anyone before. It's so beautiful.

I'm the happiest I've ever been.

Off round my friend's now to get a bit trashed. My life is awesome.

I think I finally I'm getting a hang of my songwriting for my new song "Singing in the Rain". I mean, I'm no expert, I really think I'm starting to outdo my expectations. i've written 13 songs this month. And I only started writing in like June-Julyish. And yes, most of them are fairly rubbish, but hey, you should've seen what I wrote a few months back. I probably could've written more if it wasn't for stupid school, basketball practice, band practice, piano practice, homework, etc.

So, trying to think about exactly what chord I should use for the first piece of Homophonies, Studies in Cobalt. Yes chord, singular, it's only one chord. So like, more than a triad would be nice. But also, not random. I figure not an A, because Gathered on the Wings of an Angel is all in and around the note A, and probably not Bb dim, because I already did that for something else. Maybe an augmented E of some sort... It's hard to know what chord produces the precise feeling Studies in Cobalt should elicit. I mean, any hovering chord alone is going to be have that unresolved tension, but it's not as clear cut as a minor or a major.

Then Razing Arizona of course, that's a whole other matter. What are the intervals on the delays, the lengths of the loops, and for that matter, who the fuck wants to hear 15 minutes of intermittent static?

Sounds ridiculously nice. Feeling that way about someone who feels that way about you must be pretty special.

Because, I'm not sure if I could go back in the band and have it be the same, because my inspiration and motivation are completely different now...
