I am pretty sure nowhere in the bible it says God loves rape, but God loves you.

According to the Bible, God apparently also loves incest and beastiality.

Really? It's making me hungry for caramel cake bars.

While you're ignorant about this its really not your fault since you are so defensive when it comes to the bible. God will only know if he really means it. And if he really does yes he goes to heaven (there is always a price though) And the woman if she was faithful to god and after being raped she gave up on it, depending on how God sees her she can either go to hell or heaven. Only God knows. He still loves them both though.

What a warped sense of priorities. Feeling sorry for a white, middle class, moderately comfortable young man who while having problems they are minor more so than for people who actually warrant genuine feelings of sympathy is just weird.


Hell, even I have a Bible. And I read plenty of books. Because being an ignorant automaton doesn't appeal to me. Even if you accept the Bible as the vessel through which you gain understanding of 'The One True Religion'™ there is nothing in it which says you can not seek understanding of other topics from other works, fiction or non-fiction. You may even find a certain degree of comfort from these other books, in knowing you aren't the first and won't be the last to go through the particular problem you are dealing with (any particular problem. Whatever you do nowadays, someone else has almost certainly done it first and if you can gain anything from their experiences then I would say that is a good thing and should be taken advantage.

He's being defensive. And I'm pretty sure also at the fact God flooded the whole world, without taking the time to actually realize why he did it and what he had thought of humans during that time which was way different from when Jesus came and on forward. In order to really understand the bible you need to go to church, which when I'm in doubt about something I do.

Once again since you too are ignorant about God. So let me explain to you. God offers free will. Meaning you can do whatever you want, bad or good. He'll let you do it. Now there is a price you must pay for it; if its bad. And simply that is hell. Whether the person is a "good" person or not, if that person has not accepted Jesus as their savior and repent all their sins, they will go to hell. Its just how it works. Now, only God know is you really mean you're sorry so you have no right to judge that person.

One thing he talks about is how humans will question him many times, and there is a reason he does not want you to know somethings. Not even his angels in heaven know. All you need to know will be in the bible. He can't let you know everything. Anyway, his definition of love is much different than ours. I remember going to church and the pastor took the whole time to talk about God's love, thought I can't remember much since I was a kid, I do remember him saying that his love is much different than ours, bigger actually.

God does get angry. He has the right. But is just shows how amazing he is and how much love he has to send his only son "Jesus" so he doesn't have to destroy the world again. He did promise though to take his people (And that is those who have repent and accepted Jesus as their savior) to heaven. Having judgement day and giving the people who are going to hell one more chance.
