Seriously? We're on the 21st century and you still think only the man can be the head of the house? It is SUPPOSE to be like that. And if it isn't like that then fine, there is something called free will and people who chose to abuse it, will be punished. Why is there "Free Will" in the first place because that's how life on Earth works. I do notice when something bad comes to pass, we gladly hand that over to God when it was the human who made the decision. God's ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:9)" “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts". When a person is suffering with a sickness, disease, or injury, they usually only focus on their own suffering. Since once again there is free will God has to allow it. But what God will bring good out of the situation? Don't you notice when people get really sick, as in hospital sick they always rely or go to God for help. That's why I say I rather not go through the "Tough Love" route. We live in a world were there will always be sickness, disease, and death will always be there. Sickness comes from mother nature not from God. Why does God allow AIDS? Not that he created but because it will contradict "Free Will". But God created nature. Therefore HE created sickness. No he did not. Nature did. God created sickness but not AIDS. An example is, You can't say My mother created my child, just because she created me. Literally she did't, I did. I can't blame my mother because I had a child, she had nothing to do with it, I did. The same goes for that. And all of this goes back to him allowing it because like I said When a person is suffering with a sickness, disease, or injury, they usually only focus on their own suffering. Since there is free will God has to allow it. Firstly, I'd like to know what your "nature" is in this instance, because sickness generally comes from a bacteria or virus, and these are living organisms therefore directly created by God. Secondly, if God did not directly create you, then he is not your creator. He is Adam's creator, Eve's creator, but not your creator. Thirdly, what does free will have to do with suffering? Are you saying people only suffer because they choose to? That people in unbearable agony have a choice to not think about their overwhelming and immediate pain? Fourthly, if God is omnipotent and omnipresent, then he is watching everyone suffer and choosing not to get involved, yet in the Bible, he chooses to get involved in many people's lives, and is apparently so upset by homosexuality that he literally commits genocide, while today, and for almost 2,000 years he has not intervened once to stop wanton cruelty and malice, often perpetrated in his very name. So that means God, in the Old Testament, got involved repeatedly DESPITE man's free will, yet after the New Testament, he says decides now we really do have free will, and he'll just sit back and watch all the murder, rape, suffering, torture, while sobbing and playing a violin? So we must ourselves, choose to dedicate our short lives on Earth to worshipping him, and then be rewarded with heaven? What kind of God creates a world for people to suffer in and on the basis of this decide their soul's eternal fate? A God that loves us all, apparently. |
