I was slightly more concerned as to how you got from Sunn 0))) to a broken fridge? I mean I don't like them, but I can see that that's hardly a fair comparison. It's a long-running comparison made with Sunn O))), but I'm not sure I see where it comes from. A fridge makes a light hum, maybe some trickling noises. Sunn O))) make a great big open guitar chord on a lot of amps on maximum gain. It's more like a car engine or maybe a tumble dryer or something. Or maybe it just sounds like guitars... Don't get me wrong, I like Sunn 0))) It's just that they do slightly resemble a refrigirator that has been broken. In what way? Because I don't hear it. |

I may be mistaken (which is probably the case, i'm almost deaf in one ear) but as far as i'm concerned, it sounds a bit like.... Weird ambient choral noises - epic guitar/ motorbike note - bzzzzzzzhmmmmmbzzzzzz - choral noises - resume buzzing Anyways, I probably went a little off topic in the first place :/ |
Awards (stroking myself and thinking I'm superior): @Chaos awards:Best Band - Mind Best Album - Shattered Fairytale by Mind Technical Ecstasy - Jason Smith (x3) Best Solo Male - Jason Smith Birdies:Best Producer - Jason Smith |

Anyways, I probably went a little off topic in the first place :/ Choral noises... You mean, a CHOIR? What, when your fridge breaks you hold a memorial service? xD Nah, I wasn't talking about that bit. The bits afterwards, however do sound a bit broken-fridgey. Anyways, I think we better leave it now and get back on topic. Broken Fridges have no correlation for the Battle of Christmas '09. |

I'm still wondering what the hell's wrong with this fridge. I figure most broken fridges are silent because the power supply blew. Other than that it could be a fan, but if that broke, the fridge would just overheat and again, the cutoff would render it silent. |

From previous broken fridges i've experienced, it sort of goes Boom, fizz, bang and then silent. So yeah, you're right actually. However, when some fridges are exposed to overheating or overcooling, I suppose it could slowly slip to its untimely death. |
