I know they don't sound the same, but don't both groups kinda remind you of the other? I mean, GNR had a legendary guitarist Slash, and the notorious Axl Rose. So did RATM, Tom Morello and Zach de la Roca. Both bands split. Both groups excluding singers went on to form a new bands, Audioslave for RATM and Velvet Revolver for GNR with both having a grunge singer, for Velvet Revolver-Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots, Audioslave-Chris Cornell of Soundgarden. Kinda ironic right?

I agrree with the other guy, and tTom Morello isn't really legendary, he's actually not that good, he's just expiremental, and if you ask someone if they know of Axl or Zac is they probably won't say Zac. RATM was the biggest in the mid 90's they only made 3 albums, no way they're eally legendary, or similar to GNR

I'll tell you what i think would be pretty good for GNR and Aerosmith.
Axl Rose to front Aerosmith for a couple of years and Steven Tyler to work with the original GNR lineup apart from Axl.
Random I know.

I'm not talking about success. I'm talking about how their members interact with each other similarly, how similar both parties have spread their success.
