Shikari are a band who, though I don't enjoy their music, know how to put on one hell of a show, I'll give them that. They seem to go down well pretty much where ever they are. I didn't really enjoy the gig, though.

NME Tour last night - AMAZING:

The Drums - only american band, and they didn't go down particularly well. In my opinion, they were absolutely brilliant, and if it wasn't for the circumstances they would of easily been best band of the night. Very Joy Division-esque.

The Big Pink - don't even bother. The only 'appeal' seemed to be their female drummer being half naked which didn't really appeal to me anyway... The whole set was just a noise, and I'm convinced that it wasn't down to the sound as all the other bands sounded great.

Bombay Bicycle Club - the band I actually went to see and they were really really good. they were the first band that really got the audience into it, too. They had a great sound. Will probably go and see them again before the end of the year. The new material they played sounds promising.

The Maccabees - totally underestimated them. Most lively band I've ever seen, but the best part was the actual music. Thoroughly well written. At one point they had 3 guitarists (two of which sung), the bassist, the drummer, a guy on synth/keys and a 3 person brass section, all playing cleverly written music. I'd recommend them. Headliners were the best band of the night.

Tonight will be the best night of my life if everything goes to plan.

Going round my mates house, smoking like £30 worth of bud with mates from like 1 til 6, then going and getting drunk, and finally going to belugus and having a night.

Hopefully, by tomorrow, I'll still be alive.

O+@Elliot, never really liked the Maccabees from stuff I've heard on the radio but I'll give some of their stuff a go, any specific songs?

Try 'Precious Time' or 'Toothpaste Kisses' off their first album. Or 'Wall of Arms' or 'No Kind Words' off their second. Good stuff (:

I probably won't have school tomorrow or will go to school late so my night will be similar to Ajs' and Lewis' without the drinking or friends, bud, bud, and more bud.

Ughh, I'll be lucky if weed is the only thing I'll be doing, inadvertently or not. I split the rent of an apartment with 3 of my friends, and lately 2 of them have turned it into an opium den,and they're not to fond of shooting up, so in these close quarters I might as well be chasing the dragon myself, given how much smoke is drifting about. My ex said no, which semi didn't surprise me, although getting my ass kicked by her new boyfriend did. In conclusion, I've spent the last 24 hours drinking myself to death and nursing a sore everything. Life's gone down the shitter.

Thanks man, first real positive thing I've heard in a while. Nah, I aint gonna do it, but it's almost doesn't matter whether I choose to or not, cause they're working up a storm in there, and I live in 3 room apartment (Wayyyyy too small for 4 dudes I might add) with one door. Ehh, what can you do? Besides, I got enough Jaeger and JD to keep me occupied for a couple hours more. Alcohol + 'Scrubs' with Cannibal Corpse in the background = Best thing available right now, sad but true.
