I haven't liked them since Jesse left. I didn't like them when he was still in the band either 8-) I would hope you would at least agree their music has declined greatly since then. Ever since they got on Guitar Queero, all my friends are all like "omg, I totatly love Killswitch Engage!" and thus they have killed another fine metal band, despite them being alternative metal (perhaps the worst type of metal of them all). And that's probably why they suck now, cuz they got some mainstream attention. But I don't think Jesse was the biggest reason why they got bad, cuz he left in '02. and KE got bad after like 06-07ish. I hate people that knock on music/rhythm games. Guess what, I have no intention of learning to play guitar, especially not well enough to play something by Dream Theater or Stevie Ray Vaughn. However I like them both and I like video games and music/rhythm games are fun and get me to listen to music in a new way. Do they have some flaws? Yes they do (for instance they overly glorify and feature classic rock) but they are still damn fun to play. |

Well thank goodness for that...if you were aiming to be as good as Dream Theatre I'd say you'd need raise the bar a bit higher. |

I actually saw Alestorm recently. Well. I went to see The Rotted who were supporting them. So much of the crowd was dressed as pirates. I swear that if the drink in the Cathouse wasn't so cheap that night, and it wasn't a mates birthday, I'd have totally killed myself there and then, having lost all faith in the human race. |

Obviously I'm joking, gildy's expressed his hate for Alestorm a few times and I assumed you shared it. |
