I'm not new here but I feel like my roleplays are shit because no one replays to them. I do feel like my characters are boring and my stories are boring. I feel like I'm not taking enough time to devolop my characters and stories and music to become a good roleplayer or even make my character known. I dont know; I just feel like starting all over, I wondered if that is possible to do? What do you all think? I dont feel like I'm roleplaying at the best of me and that I'm bored with my artistes.. I like Moquel's character but that's about the only one.. It seems boring sometimes.

This is why i'm always reluctant to bring new characters in... the first ones are always the cest. Even though I'm RPing another band now, even they have the same lead singer. There are very few people who can manage loads of artists extremely well.
Awards (stroking myself and thinking I'm superior):
@Chaos awards:
Best Band - Mind
Best Album - Shattered Fairytale by Mind
Technical Ecstasy - Jason Smith (x3)
Best Solo Male - Jason Smith
Birdies:
Best Producer - Jason Smith

Right. I'm just at the point where I see everyone seems they are having fun with their artists and roleplays, I just want to join in the mix and finally have a character, I'm pushing to make it better. I like the character of Ryan Ross, and Steph.

Its not that any of us suck, its just if aren't in the Club then they dont bother. Lol, just kidding. But the real reason is people just dont care to reply unless you make fun of them or their characters. The only thing that gets reply's are insults.

Usually, if you respond to other artists, they respond to you.

I do try to reply to as many posts as i can.
I also think that female character's get more reply's than male character's, i don't know if anyone else feels the same, but I don't usually get a lot of comments for Max Armstrong posts but I do get more from Alicia Lena. I don't know if that's true for anyone else though.

Like Cody said, you have to insult everyone to get replies. (That's not always a bad thing since controversy if fun, however i wish it wouldn't have to be like that all the time) It has nothing to do with you being a guy or a girl. I also think it has to do with the reputation you have here. For example people are more out to comment on a new character that is introduced by users Bikz or Old. Gregg. People are open to comment if you have left for a long period of time and then you "comeback".

Panic! one of the best Role players, use to get no replies whatsoever on his RP's but when he posted that Ryan Ross (who is a guy) Rolling Stone RP he got mad replies from people.
Ever since he's been getting more replies.

Right, you actually get a lot of replies. I actually love the character of Stephanie. I just trying to devolop a new character because I want to kill Holly Zona off.

If you are controversial then people reply. I've been playing as Blood Of Wecz for 5 years and I get a moderate amount of responses.

In the last few weeks though I have brought back Alex P, the loud mouthed, sexist, arsehole, and everything he says recieves a lot of feedback because it's offensive...

I think your spot on.
I was just saying that Max get's less replies than Alicia and more people seemed more interested in Alicia, I'm not complaining though and I'm not saying that that's true for all of the roleplayers but for me it is true.

Also I think it's more about promoting your character and marketing him/her.

Yeah I agree. I don't think I'm really good at roleplaying so i don't expect many replies but I do seem to get around 4-5 replies usually. I did spend quite a bit of time on the Max Armstrong Q Magazine article which i posted today.

If it makes you feel better, I've pretty much only ever gotten replies for the Suicidal Maniacs, mainly just because they're offensive. My Black Gold Reign work hardly ever gets replies.

Ayeaye - when I posted in my Jakey thread, I got about 3 replies to each post usually, but when I post something on the Parasites, I don't get comments at all. It's about getting a character and building them up, eventually you'll get there.

Basically, to get noticed, you've got to make EXTREME characters.
List of characters that get noticed (incomplete) -
* Kamikaze Kate
* Joshy Firecracker
* Jakey Comatose
* Sexy Star
* Miss Vanity
* Gemma Ferns
* Billy Maddison
* Stephanie Fierce
* Ryan Ross Hernandez
* Billy Jacobs
* Jimmy Him
What this lot have in common? There's either something extremely different about their personalities, or they've done something extreme in the past. You've got to make your characters seriously memorable, otherwise nobody's going to give an arse.

pretty much make your character a super druggie,asshole,or slut,slut isn't too big so I'd go with that.
