I really doubt many people on here could muster the attention span to do this in all honesty, but I'd be up for it. I promised for 2010 I'd get more literature in me.

Nice. I read The Plague by Camus a couple months back and have Nausea by Sartre on my reading list!

Also have Crime & Punishment and Thus Spake Zarathustra to read.

And errrr yeah. I say yes to the original question Rince.

I like reading cheesy teen books. Harry Potter is the God of books. Lord of the Rings was boring. But thats basically my style of stuff.

The Plague is awesome, check out The Stranger. Nausea is amazing too, but Sartre gets too visceral at times. Another book I want to read is Life Is Elsewhere by Milan Kundera, has anyone read that?

I generally only read non-fiction or peoples biographies, but I'd be up for it, yeah.

Doubt I have the time for it, since I already have shit loads to read for university, but I'd most certainly be a supporting member. Reading = gud.

I have been reading (and by reading I mean maybe 2 pages every couple of days) Cat's Cradle by Vonnegut but my college reading makes it hard to do much for pleasure. I think the last thing I actually read for pleasure was No Exit by Sartre.

I should read more, but I'm terrible for somehow not finding the time. Started reading a massive 750 page book on Lincoln last year, only got to page 100 so far. In fact, I shall read some more tonight, once I've wound down my computing activities.

To save me having to start a new book: "Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln" by Doris Kearns Goodwin.

Started reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy in January after reading The Hobbit, got through The Fellowship but after that I found it harder and harder to even want to pick the thing up. Only read half of The Two Towers so far.

I put a vote in for Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea." I have never read it but always wanted to.

Good luck with that. The second half of that book is so tedious it's unbelievable. The Frodo/Sam half of Return of the King is pretty hard going for most of it too.

I'd settle for that.
