Just spent about 4 hours on Red Dead Redemption with some friends, and it is serious good fun! It really does have the "GTA in a western" vibe to it nailed down, it's superb fun. Especially online.

Glad I've got an excuse to not bother going out in the sun for the next few days!

i waste away many an hour playing battlefield 1942.it's old,but by far my favorite of the series.i'm always on one of the moongamers servers under the "zap rowsdower" name.i'm not all that good,but i've seen worse.

Man... I used to use RPG Maker 95 and 2000. All my games were barely games, because I didn't like programming the combat system, so I basically ended up with a series of surreal conversations with ridiculously obscure references, and a recurring character, supposedly the scriptwriter, who was a chicken, and would repeatedly interject because characters were not following the script. I wish I could find them for nostalgia's sake.

The highlight of tonights gaming session, aside from coming across a dying Christian woman who refused help because "God will heal me" and a weird guy who was exhuming graves, was killing a bear with a knife. A melee knife, not a throwing knife (which are the most insanely powerful weapons)

gildermershina is my Xbox tag, but I don't really play the Xbox so much, I'm more of a PC man these days. That being said, the forthcoming release Super Mario Galaxy 2 has forced me to dig out the Wii once again. Now that I finally got Cam's 360 to play nice with the HDMI, I can run the Wii through Component which looks slightly less like ass than through the composite, but annoyingly takes issue with my VC games, so I can't play Super Mario Bros 3. DAMN YOU NINTENDO AND YOUR STUPID COMPATIBILITY ISSUES...
