Max: It shouldn't be considered a flop because it didn't chart well or sell a lot of copies, It's still a pretty good album. bare in mind that my first band The Junction's debut album Heartbreaks & Outtakes peaked at 154, so it isn't the end of your career or anywhere near the end, it's a decent starting platform for your career.

In the NY Club, Jack Frost debuted a new song that has harsh and dark lyrics. Can we expect a darker side to Mr. Frost in his sophomore album?

New York Sentinel Interview

Q: Jack Your music is very Americana but with a darker edge to it-

A: When you say Americana that sounds like I'm rootin for liberty and all that junk. I ain't. America is an old blind dog that keeps fighting when it should be worried about itself. I am not proud to be an American. When she stops sticking her crooked nose in other people affairs then we will talk."

Q: Strong words but...anyways what are some of your influences?

A: I enjoy Springsteen, Dylan and most blues artist. I really like the 4th street band and a certain female artist...

Q: No chance on saying what female artist?

A: no.

Q: your album debuted slowly but it has begun to pick up speed. Any worries that-

A: I said before, when my album came out, that doing the stuff I do is hard and sometimes nerve raking but I don't care. I'm doing what I'm doing till I get bored."

Q: Thanks to Junction Records?

A: Oh yes. Junction has housed, bathed, cleansed and shaved me.

Q: What does the future look like for Jack Frost?

A: Dark and Grim. Probably be called an anti-american scum. I'm singing for the working man. the farmer. the hobo. I am not singing for you.

Soft Eyes

Well she had that thing,
that thing that made me fall in love with her,
I was soaring high on the blue jay wing.

She came to me in the dark of the night,
The sorta dark that could kill a man.
She made everything feel so right.

Burn the night sky with her lovers touch,
She held me tight in the cold wind breeze,
She always said "remember it ain't much"

Watching her on the shore of the beach,
The sand between my feet, the breeze tangle her hair.
She never did seem out of reach.

Just like weather things did change,
She started hanging on the other side of town,
she started to rearrange.

Soon it all burnt away to lies,
but I will always remember her face,
I will always remember her soft eyes.

Jack Frost Wow's @ Carnegie Hall

Last night Jack Frost silenced the entire Carnegie Hall. This silence was not because of poor music but for the strong lyrically masterful protest songs that he sung. Like usual Mr. Frost took the stage with his acoustic guitar and started to play the powerful song from his debut album, Children Of War.

With hatred in his voice Frost hissed,

"...And with rust in their eyes,
they have forgotten how to cry,
for they are the children of war!..."

Immediately after captavating the audience Frost followed Children Of War with the haunting melody, Forgotten Grave.

"The world it runs 'round and misbehaves,
as shadows start to conquer the halls,
and nobody will remember the forgotten graves..."

Jack Frost the self titled debut album only peaked at the 230 in its opening week but after word got around about who and what Mr. jack Frost is and what he was saying people started to listen and now the album has reached over 88 thousand units sold.

The song that has been getting alot of air play is Cold, Cold, Moon. Which Frost sung at the end.

"I've been travelin alone and without a tune,
Been ramblin through rock and through tree,
and with the cold, cold, moon,
I know she was gone too soon..."

Mr. Frost is a masterful lyricist and someone who has something powerful to say about the state of the USA. The voice of our generation has been found!

Jack Frost is currently writing new material for his untitled sophomore album.

Max: You deserve all the praise your getting man, When I was about 17-18 years old I'd go to clubs in New York and New Jersey just trying to find a new musician or band who I could really believe in and someone who put what I was feeling into music and I'm glad your around because you do that with every song I've heard so far if you continue the way your going your going to have a huge impact on the world, I think you could be as influential as Bob Dylan or John Lennon, if you can continue to be around in 20+ years.

"Can not stand this guy at all! If you think America is such a shithole, then here is an idea, leave. He is not the voice of a generation, he's the voice for a bunch of ignorant whiny kids who are going through their rebellious phase of hating America, their parents, the government and everything else. Now get out of here you commie."

Wasn't all this protest bullshit done like, what, 50 something years ago? When the US was actually morally fucked? I'm missing how repeating the actions of one of the oldest living generations of music left is speaking to our generation. For once, I'm gonna say RRH has something real good going, you don't like it, get the fuck out.
