Well hello there, noobs ;] If this is your first time visiting my website take a moment to read this and look through the page, so you can realize that this is best site you ever visited in your life!

My name is Linda Fea and I'm a 33 year old professional critic from New Jersey. Since I was little, I always dreamed about being three specific things. Being a singer, a comedian and a professional critic. Unfortunately, with the industry of today the singing part didn't happen. I wouldn't call my self the nicest person in the world but the most honest. I have always criticized and questioned things. From," Why the hell didn't God make the grass red instead of green?" to "Why did Stephanie Fierce ever release that hideous first album?".

My purpose isn't to be a bitch, but to be honest. I'm not a cute cookie cutter critic who lets things slide so I can kiss ass. In fact, people kiss my ass and they often find themselves being disappointed by it. I am aware that I make mistakes, I admit them and I'm not afraid to turn around my opinion of someone or something. A true critic isn't biased and a true critic is completely honest.

My journey began when I was in high school. Being the school newspaper editor is what really started all of this. During my college years and internship, I realized that while the comedian route will most likely not happen maybe the singing will. However, the critic in me always took over. I found myself criticizing more than singing. My first gig landed when I was asked to assist one of the editors of "The Star Ledger". After my credited effort, I quickly began to be noticed by other top critics. Writing many articles and reviews for the underground scene. My main focus was always music and since I wanted to be a singer, I thought that maybe by focusing on music articles I would be able to launch my singing career. At the end, I devoted my time as a full time critic. After much hard work, I was finally eligible to the panel of award shows. Judging the "IMA's" and the "HTC's" is really what took me to the next level as a critic and I am quickly becoming one of the most known critics of all time.

On my website, you will entertained with the latest reviews in music world. To begin the fun, I now have a section called the "Lo Lindo (What's Pretty.)" and "Lo Feo (What's Ugly)".
More info on that SOON...

With the gimmicks flooding in the industry and the internet evolving into this “colorful graphic must need”, it is almost
hard to make it these days if you have raw talent. Well, unless you got a nice cleavage and some heavy muscular tone of course ;) What
most people want is to make it. But the mind can work wonders because everyone wants to make it seem like they only want to sell 10
albums. Why would you sign a mayor label contract, if all you want is to share your music with a few hundreds or thousands? This is the
mistake Daniel made while making this album.

After releasing “Banana Boy” which became a typical international smash hit (The song’s artwork drew controversy and laughable
comparisons to Miss Vanity). Let me just say this. There is garbage and from the garbage the smell of art comes out. Miss Vanity’s outfits
are only the garbage product and smell is lost. No, that was not a compliment.

Anyhow, Daniel decided to disappear into the cave of a magical world and make some real music in contrast to “Banana Boy”. While a
wise decision, it was a risky move by the musician who soon began to be called a one hit wonder. And you know once they start calling
you that, there is almost no return. However, Daniel smartly pulled through. Well……musically of course! With Hot Eye Records backing him
up, he was able to get that album released and it became a fair hit.

Anyone who has seen Daniel live, wouldn’t be shocked to find the singer whispering through a track like he’s some crazy loner with mental
issues. Daniel is known for his soft vocal performances, in which he depends on his facial expressions to do most of the work. Not so smart,
especially when you have a bunch of men who are hungry to rock. But anyone who was looking for a couple of more “Banana Boy” songs,
is going to be very disappointed. In fact the album isn’t really pop friendly but still has the ability to be called a pop album. Daniel has basically
taken a nuclear bomb and placed it in the middle of his fan base and the ones who made it alive at the end of the explosion, are the ones
who are supporting him to this day.

Usually experimental albums aren’t very approachable, but Daniel manages to suck you right in with the opening track. This is the
reason why it qualifies for a pop charting work effort. Throughout, Daniel is trying to make one statement. Accept him for who he is. Let him
run free through any land (As he claims in "Aliens"). I would indeed say this whole album is one song divided into chucks, but once you reach
"Eternal Eargams" everything goes 180. The eight minute instrumental like song is somewhat trippy and completely distinctive from all the other
songs on the album. What this album sort of lacks is diversity. It seems that Daniel is not really fully experienced with experimental music yet.
However, for a debut effort it is passable. So it is best to give this album 3 and a half stars out of five. – Linda Fea

★★★½ out 5

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

OOC: Want your album to be reviewed like this? Send me a PM.
The purpose of that review is to simply show you what the album reviews are going to look like. In most cases, I will not review my own artist’s albums.

In order for me to review your album, you must have some sort of synopsis or album overview done, so I can get an idea of what the album is really about. If not, I can’t do a review based on some song titles. All reviews done will be fair upon my opinions. Don’t be disappointed if you get 2 or even 1 star out of 5. Expect the unexpected. Linda Fea is probably one of the toughest characters on here and she tells it like it is. So if you want the most honest review, she’s the way to go. As you know from previous attempts things usually die out. If that’s to happen, I would look at it as some sort of break and pick things up when ready. After all, this is just for fun, so don’t take it too seriously and it’s not like Linda Fea is the only critic in the whole world.

Also, if things pick up, I will like to add an editor to the team, so that way when I want to roleplay stuff of mine it won’t get overwhelming. If there is not much to talk about because the album is bland or whatever, some reviews will focus more on how the career has affected the album ,as you can see on my Daniel “Anit-social” review.

Reviews will usually take up to one to two weeks to make since I do have a life (Sometimes sooner) ;) But the wait will be worth it because you will get a full review and hopefully something worth reading. There will be times where I will be a sneaky little bitch and do a review without you knowing. So either way keep on the look out! I hope you enjoy the reviews and hopefully this can be another addition to the rock star game forums.

PS. Feedback always appreciated.

OOC: Great job on a first review, real stellar work. I'm definitely interested in submitting something, but I won't be able to get around to it until the 23rd or 24th. And one question, are EP's acceptable?

OOC: You've done an awesome job with the first review... it's nice to see someone who'll review things without sugar-coating it or sucking up to someone. I sadly don't have anything to send you at the moment. But, when Infinite's Midnight Skies is finished, you'll be the first to know!

"When asked 'how do you write?' I invariably answer, 'one word at a time', and this answer is invariably dismissed. But that's all it is. It sounds too simple to be true, but consider the Great Wall of China, if you will: one stone at a time, man. That's all. One stone at a time. But I've read you can see that motherfucker from space without a telescope."

OOC: I think things like this are really good for roleplay, they make it more interactive and it adds depth to roleplay which is of course a good thing. It was a really great first review also, so I can't wait to see your future reviews.

OOC: Thanks man, will be on the look out! Singles, Albums, and EP's are good. In the future I would also like to review live shows, but for now I'll just do the three. So most definitely!

Email from, Teressa Holmes:

Linda Fea, I have been coming to your website since it launched and can I just tell you. I AM HOOKED. So hooked, to the point I can’t leave!
I’m probably like one of the only people that pays a visit to this site almost every hour of my time awoken. Sometimes I even wake up late
at night just to check up on latest. I guess you can say I’m addicted. So I wanted to ask you a question. How can I stop my addiction on
coming to the website? I feel like it’s affecting my social life and sometimes I call in out of work just so I can be on here HELP!

Linda Fea's Hot Pink Response:

Well I definitely would feel guilty if I told you that there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. As much as I don’t mind you stalking my website,
I think you do have a problem. I could honestly say “YES! More hits for me” but, I do have a heart. However, if you are addicted to the internet,
I only have one suggestion. Go out. Out of your house not out of your room or wherever you get the internet connection.
In fact, leave your house (Right after you read this), walk around your neighborhood or apartment complex (Be safe). If you have an MP3 player,
put that sucker on and lose yourself into the world. I am personally addicted to the internet myself, mainly because it’s my job. But sometimes,
I just go outside and eventually I forget all about the internet. And just a tip, after 9:00pm at night US eastern time, there won’t be any updates
until the next morning so don’t waste your time waking up at night trying to get updates. Hope this works out for you!- Linda Fea

(OOC: Looking forward to reading further reviews, that was a really in-depth review. Although the only thing I advise is to talk more about specific songs on the records, in the future, that is just my two cents. I liked that unlike other reviews I've seen done, it doesn't really go one way or another, like it isn't kissing ass or putting someone completely over but it just doesn't say it sucks without giving reasons.)

OOC: Two album reviews will be posted within this week or next week. If you want your album reviewed, Sent your request via Pm after August 22, 2010. That way I don't get overwhelmed. I'm taking my time with them, so I don't have dates for the two that I am doing now. :]

BTW, any genre is acceptable as long as you have some sort of synopsis (They don't have to be detailed) just some sort of idea of what the songs are like. Of course detailed is preferable but a little paragraph will do.
