Some of us have been here since 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006 and so on. Out of all the years you have used this forums, which year would you say was the best? Which year would you say was the worst? What are some of the most memorable debates, users, rants, spam (guilty and charged), bans , whatever it is that relates to this? Discuss without killing each other. Best Time at the rockstargame for me would have be in the summer of 2009. This year has been ok...... RP: Stacy had the most epic RP in which a lot of people participated in the summer of 09. Of course all of the 2009 Birdies/IMA were pretty good. Those were really successful. Debate: The best debate was the one where "God.... Is he Alright?" by no other than Rince. User buddies: asdf, bikz, girlspice, python,__________ lol Users I shouldn't miss but I do miss: The chimp guy (I wonder what happened to him, he was hilarious) One of my favorite threads was by me "If we all met each other". Mmmm, my favourite year is based on the financial year model meaning from mid 2007 to mid 2008 and even a few months beyond, where I remember the RP community was alive and vibrant with a good spread of users with different styles. Heaps of festivals, record labels (Midnight/Mythic, Eventual Records, Negative Records, Alpha Omega). I wish Lino would return, he was always good for a laugh whether it was intentional or not, my Aussie mates goatboy and Mouj (moooooouj! Come back!!).There was heaps of good users like St Jimmy, Yumi, sav, Preist, Gorloche, Python, Bikz...there are other artists whom the user names I forget (The Seymours, The Jackoffs, Archaic Couture). As far as threads go there were other epic God related threads that just went on and on. Good times |

For me 2007 and early 2008 were the best times here. Lots of labels, label wars which is something that has not happened with teh new forums yet for some reason, the me and liam vs the world thing was cool though I preferred 2009 and 2010s stephanie and me vs the world. This year has kind of sucked, getting worse as it goes on but a lot of new guys coming in could prove that TRSG aint dead yet. |

I can't remember when I came to the forums. I joined the game sometime last year but I don't think I made it over here until around March of this year. It's fun though, I think I'll stick around, even though I'm absolutely horrible at this style of roleplay. :) |

I may have joined at December of 2009, but I have been reading posts back in that year and I have to say it was quite better than what we have now.. |

Believe it or not, I actually joined up ages ago. Unfortunately for me, I didn't know what I was doing and thus couldn't get the most out of it. So, whilst all the experienced members may disagree, for me 2009/10 are the best years. |

Around 2007/2008 was the best :) Roleplaying was at it's strongest point with loads of users posting daily, and there were allies and enemies and everybody seemed to interact in some kind of a way. I made a lot of friends IRL through RP in that time. Then gradually regular players stopped using the game, and it went downhill gradually until the site went down. Since it came back, a lot of the really "important players" that made the RP so much fun and so original in the first place stopped coming on. Now, even though I only check back once every couple of months, I just don't see the interaction that I once did... the games lost it's pull to keep bringing me back :( It's a shame. Many hours of my college study time was lost to this game and the people on it. Very good times. |
