They truly are a pretty good band with meaningful songs. It's just most ppl hate them because they're overrated and/or think they're fake u2 impressionists.

Musically, thematically, lyrically, can't think of many that better speak to the high-on-sugar-substitute-cognitive-dissonance-hundred-thoughts-a-minute-rat-race-urban-decay-o-rama of our age.
