BIOGRAPHY
Edward Barát was born on October 31, 1989 in Lafayette, Indiana. His family relocated to a small apartment on Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, California and are of Dutch, French and Irish origin. His mother therapist and his father was a construction worker. Edward was always interested in performing from an early age, often taking part in school plays and performing at various local talent competitions from the age of 6. He has 2 sisters and 1 brother all of which have had an interest in performing but it was Edward whose star rose the highest in the Barát household. He never learned to play instruments and instead developed his showmanship qualities.
His father abandoned the family when Edward was 8 years old. Once he started to get older he started to lose his way a little bit, from the age of 12 he started to skip school with friends and often caused problems for the locals in his neighbourhood. He didn’t enjoy school and says that he just didn’t fit in, he didn’t enjoy being told what to do and decided to leave school at 16.

He continued to lose sight of things as he fell out with his parents very often and at the age of 16 he decided to leave home and move into a friends extremely small one bedroom apartment, his friend happened to be a drug dealer and this evidently led to Edward using this to his advantage, they quickly became known in the area and this led to a lot of very dangerous situations. All night party’s with drugs flowing regularly and various numbers of women coming and going from their apartment regularly, often strippers and pole dancers.
Edward states that the lifestyle was inevitable, “I grew up on Sunset Boulevard, it’s pretty obvious what was gonna happen and as soon as I discovered bands like Guns N Roses, The Doors, Zeppelin and Aerosmith that was it. It worked for those guys why wouldn’t it work for me.”
He began various bands and played regularly in the local area’s but none of the bands ever lasted long, he continued to perform with various bands but he never found anything that fit.”
He has never worked a normal job and has decided to try to make it as a solo artist, he is currently unsigned and his unpredictability and his excessiveness could be something that has put labels off from signing him in the past.
His image is quite clearly influenced by the Glam Metal period of the 70’s and 80’s. His influences include Guns N Roses, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith and The Doors but has stated that modern acts like Miss Vanity, Infinite, Mind, Reckoner and Glamazon are huge influences.

EDWARD BARÁT
SHOWMAN!!!

UserPostedImage

“Showman” is a song written by Edward Barát and California based guitarist and session musician Scott Jacks in 2007. This is a demo version that was recorded in a small $60 an hour record studio on Sunset Boulevard. It has been performed regularly by Edward Barát in various local clubs and is moderately known within Sunset Boulevard but is a complete unknown outside of California.
“The song was written after a show in Santa Monica, there was about 25 people in the club so it was really just another shitty gig. After the performance I headed backstage and met up with a couple of musician guys I knew, we just sat on the floor with our backs against the wall, we had a couple of drinks and we ended up getting pretty strung out, then Scott Jacks found a guitar in the storage room and just started playing this song that he had but he didn’t have words to it. And I can’t remember the rest, in like 2 hours we had finished writing the song and the next day when I sobered up I thought, Man that’s pretty fucking good and here we are.”
“It’s just a song about being a frontman, it‘s this scratchy little rock song sorta reminiscent of The Replacements, the sound quality on the demo is a bit shit but it‘s just a demo. There’s a line that goes I Was Loaded On Ephedrine Looking For Downers And Coke which is the most honest line I’ll ever write. After every small shitty gig at a 25 person capacity club, I’d just take whatever I could so I could just not remember how bad the gig was. It was my own fucked up way of forgetting about it.”

Here is the first of our Interviews!

EDWARD BARÁT

UserPostedImage

1. What made you decide to become a musician?
Because it's the only thing I feel like I could do, you can't fucking imagine someone looking like me working in a fast food joint could ya? Actually don't answer that.

2. What sort of influences do you have?
I'm mainly inspired by that classic rock era of the 70's and 80's. When I discovered Appetite For Destruction, I just thought to myself, that's what I want, I wanna be able to get myself into all kinds of trouble and make some kick ass records along the way. Bands like GnR, Aerosmith, Zeppelin, The Eagles, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Doors, The Who, The Stones, Van Halen, Kiss, Queen, The Replacements, The Misfits and then the more commercial sounds of bands like, Depeche Mode and Cheap Trick. With current music, I'd say act's like Miss Vanity, Glamazon, those acts that are all very 80's esque. And then the rockers, like Infinite, Mind and Reckoner. It doesn't have to be one genre or another.

3. What are your ambitions within the music industry?
Just to be able to perform in some of the biggest venue's in the world. Make records that matter and records that people still remember when I'm ten feet under.

4. What was it like growing up in a family where everyone is talented in performing arts?
It was alright. My siblings they all played instruments, be it piano, guitar, bass and drums. I never really had a huge tolerance of learning. I guess those who can't learn an instrument just decide to be a frontman. It was all I was built for. But with me having so many siblings it meant I could do what the fuck I wanted because my mum couldn't handle all of this so she figured that I could look after myself, I couldn't, I got into all kinds of crazy situations.

5. Has it caused friction between you and your siblings that you have gone on to start a career in the entertainment industry?
No because that's not their main focus. And they've got time to do it, they're all inbetween the ages of 16-20. So we'll see what happens. Also I haven't really started a career in the entertainment industry yet, once I have a label and a record out then I can say I've started.

6. What do you think about shows like AATW?
It's complete shit. You look at shows like American Idol and X Factor and now All Around The World. It's all the same bullshit, and any artist who has had months of PR behind them on prime time TV is obviously gonna have this kind of success. I personally think it's better to get out there, play the shittiest little clubs because it helps you grow and it gives you something to fucking write about. So yeah to sum, I'm not a fan.

7. Do you have any material set for release?
I've got a few stuff that I've written in the past but I haven't recorded it yet. But there's some pretty good stuff to work on.

8. Who do you think will be the (in game) stars of 2011?
I can't really look past Glamazon. It seems that these R&B chicks are taking over, people like Alicia Lena and Cherise but Glamazon is very different. She's fucking crazy and she's not mainstream but she manages to have this kinda commercial success. That's one girl I'd like to work with.

9. What was your favourite (in game) album of 2010?
I'm not too sure to be honest. I wouldn't say that 2010 was a productive year really. Demons by Glamazon was a stand out record, that Stacey Walton record was pretty decent, I think both Mind and Infinite had productive years but other than that, I'm struggling to find any more.

10. What are your opinions of the labels out there?
I don't know very much about them, There's a couple of new labels, Shooting Aces and that Monk one. There's Shooting Star, Junction Records and Studio 60. I think Studio 60 with Eric and Jason on it is alright. And Junction Records with Glamazon. And Shooting Star with Joe Dayton they're all alright labels.

11. What would it mean to you for a mainstream label to approach you?
It would mean I get to release an album, that's kind of a given. I dunno really, I guess I'd look at a smaller label, maybe a more new label. I don't know how I'd feel about signing to a major label but a label that's being developed and is slowly improving would be more interesting.

Interview Number 2!

The Band!

1. How did you guys all meet?
I was in this awfull punk band, I sang and played lead guitar. Me singing is never a good idea. I sound like a really wasted Noel Gallagher. Anyway, I first saw Kimmie in this all girl band that couldn't decide if they wanted to be a riot grrl group or do teeny-bopper shit. I knew one of the other girls in the band. I didn't see her again untill my band had disbanded, and I had resigned myself to geting a PHD in philosophy or literature and spending the rest of my life in an ivy tower. She, Ian, and Edmund had already started The Band. They needed a song writer, and had decided that Ian was better suited for Rhythm guitar. So, uh, I filled the void. My first meeting with Ian didn't go well. He thought I was some guy trying to, uhhh, deflower his sister, and we had a confrontation that resulted in his being tossed around by me. We get along splendidly now..........some of the time, maybe.*laughs*

2. What made you lot decide to become a band?
I think I kind of explained that above. I can play brass instruments, so that enables us to do some jazz-fusion stuff, an interest we all share.

3. What sort of influences do you have?
Lots of old post-punk, especially other Brits. Public Image Ltd, Gang of Four, Elvis Costello exc.. Kimmie wants to be the red-headed Debbie Harry; we do sound a little like Blondie on some songs. We also owe huge debts to The Strokes, since they really brought post-punkl back in vogue, and Chicago, because they were really the first to mix horns and rock music, even though they turned into an awfull wedding band later. We have kind of a noisy sound at times too, so I guess we're influenced by American groups like Sonic Youth and Dinosaur Jr. Plus some avant-guard jazz. And The Beatles. I didn't want to say anything, because everyone lists them, but The Beatles.

4. What are your ambitions within the music industry?
I want to be able to make the music I want without starving to death. If I get famous that will be on every hipster kid's tight fitting t-shirt.

5. Do you have any material planned for a release?
We should be realeasing an EP some time in the near future for our auspicous debut. An album will follow. It's gonna be interesting, I think it's gonna have to be a double. I want to have at least one suit, and there's gonna be some long epics. And probably more feedback and noise than our fans are expecting.

6. Who are the artists out there (in game) that you think are gonna be the stars of 2011?
I don't care. Being a rockstar is the most overrated thing in the world. I want to be respected like Thom Yorke, I don't want to be bloody Noel Gallagher

7. What was your favourite (in game) album of 2010?
Hmmm, It hasn't been the best year to be honest. Father's of Fury had a solid debut, hopefully ours goes as well. Brandon Caulfield's debut stuff was intersting too. If he'd use the studio more he could be incredible. I wish he'd be less mopey though; he reminds me of bloody Ian Curtis.

8. What would it mean for you guys to get signed to a mainstream label?
It would help because than we'd have more production tools at our disposal. But in general I don't care about it. My bandmates might say differently, though.

9. What are your opinions on all of the labels that are out there?
Don't know. I'm in my own bubble, I don't follow the business side of music. Our manager, this buxom Scottish girl, does that.

Interview 3

Dino (Dean Croft)

UserPostedImage

1. What made you decide to become a musician?
Music is the only thing that has ever interested me, it just makes sense to me.

2. What sort of influences do you have?
Anything that is down and dirty, artists like MattY before he made it big - his underground stuff was good - but yeah, people like Dizzee rascal are major influences too.

3. What are your ambitions within the music industry?
Well, i just wanna get my message heard by the people. I don't care about being mainstream, i just wan't people to understand.

4. What was life like growing up in a soceity where taking drugs and violence were such common acts?
It was really shit. I don't recommend it to anyone. You get sucked into it, and from a young age you are one of them. It destroys you, well that or someones knife does. Drugs are so easliy available on the streets nowadays, my older brother died from a drug overdose - he was only 14.

5. What was it like seeing your cousin, Millie Little, become noticed by artists as such as Cherise, and even Eric Quillington of Infinite?
I am so happy for her, i always knew she had talent, ennit. She is doing so well right now, i mean i know she hasnt released anything yet, but to have been noticed purely from like youtube viewings and stuff is massive for her. And then she was signed to Junction Records! I mean, its not even a small label! She is gonna have some massive mainstream success this year - i just know it!

6. What do you think about shows like AATW?
It is good for publicity and stuff like that, but in my opinion it takes away the part of your career where you really make your name - the hard work to get you noticed!

7. Do you have any material set for release?
I am getting a mixtape together for release sometime around February/March time. Got about 10 songs for it at the moment.

8. Who do you think will be the stars of 2011?
Millie! Obviously! She has bags of potential, and her album is gonna be fucking huge!

9. What was your favourite album of 2010?
Erm... I don't know, there was a lot of albums out that i liked... I am really not sure, I quite liked MattY's mixtape, going back to his roots - so much better than his album.

10. What are your opinions of the label out there?
They help out with the whole busines side of things, which is good, but at the moment that is all that i can see them for being useful for.

11. What would it mean for you to be approached by a mainstream label?
It would mean i had a lot more money to throw around for my album when i get round to making one. And i could do a lot of advertising, but i would have to pay a cut to the label or something wouldn't i? I don't know, but yeah thats it...

The Eager To Party Scholars

1. How did you guys all meet?
Jacob: Well Martha and I, were brother and sister. We pretty much... met when I was 2 and she was a baby, I guess?
Martha: Yes, something like that.

2. What made you decide to become a band?
Jacob: Well it kind of started since growing up with an Amish Family, well sorry not to explain already... but we were born in an Amish county and Amish living is a way of living with strict rules. It seems kind of over the top but its true and once your born into it, you kind of live with it I guess?
Martha: Yes.. very strict. Things like.. no air plane usage, a dress code is followed, Boys and men wear hats outside of the house, suspenders and pants and shirts are usually made by the women, Girls and women must keep their head covered with bonnet or prayer cap there plenty others right?
Jacob: Yeah..Amish must marry other Amish, an Amish child may not keep his/her own money until we are married or until they turn 21.. that really sucked...(looks down)
Martha: Were getting sidetracked!
Jacob: Yes, I'm sorry. Anyway, we sort of always enjoyed music, the orchestral type of Amish music was a favorite of ours so we began singing at churches.. that was the upper hand coming up. We loved music so much that me and my sis just formed a band..

3. What sort of influences do you have?
Martha: Electro Music, Indie,New Wave and Synth are most influenced in our music

4. What are your ambitions within the music industry?
Jacob: To actually make it big time, all this hard work has to pay off somewhere, you know?
Martha: Agreed, we worked so hard for this.. and I mean..hard.

5. What was it like being a part of AATW?
Martha: It was fun! So much fun, pretty upset we didn't get to finish the show ..
Jacob: Yeah, I was so upset about that...

6. Do you think you gained anything from being on the show?
Jacob: We actually did. Well , I for one learned that a lot of people really want this.. and where not the only ones fighting, its every man for themselves, even if people seem as your friends..
Martha: I agree with Jacob, we learned that everyone can be nice, but their looking to knock you down to win ..

7. Do you have any material set for release?
In Unison: YES.. we do actually.
Martha: We have been discovered by some artists and a very special artist has asked us to produce some of their music and get on a track with thim

8. Who do you think will be the (in game) stars of 2011?
Martha: Hm.. I think anyone has a shot.
Jacob: Yeah, we really cant single out anyone because anything can happen..

9. What was your favorite (in game) album of 2010?
Jacob: I'd have to say.. Brandon Caulfields E.P that came out in December. Even though it wasn't really mastered and had 5 tracks.. those five tracks has a lot more substance then a lot of music out there!
Martha: On the mainstream market.. well there are so many. I'd have to say either Brittany's Halfway There E.P or Michelle Green's The Voice Of Me, such raw talent.

10. What are your opinions of the labels out there?
Martha: I think their great! We would be happy if any of the many out their picked us up.

11. What would it mean to you for a mainstream label to approach you?
Jacob: So much....
Martha: I second that!

Interview 5

Mykaylah

1. What made you decide to become a musician?
Mykaylah: I've always been an entertainer and enjoyed performing I was always told I have the voice and style to make it and after time at college sttudying i got bored I wanted to pursue my dreams and inspirations so quit college and now I'm doing what I want to do and trying to make it

2. What sort of influences do you have?
Mykaylah: My main influence is my mum she gave me passion and inspiration and support from the start of my life til her death always telling me i can achieve whatever I want, My Main inspirations in music are acts like Miss Vanity, the late Stephanie Fierce and new stars Chloe, Cherise and MattY

3. What are your ambitions within the music industry?
Mykaylah: My ambition is no matter what is to be happy with what I am doing if your not happy in what you do whats the point, I obviously want to achieve fame and success but thats a long way off but being happy and making my mother up above proud i hope

4. What happened to you after you and your 2 older sisters went your separate ways? You were all so young!
Mykaylah: Mum died when i was 8, my sisters where older fights arose within family aunts uncles long lost whatevers so on all thinking one knows better than others,  we all got took seprate ways Jes and Ana ended up going back to Oz while I stayed with an aunt in Manchester, and We've not seen each other since or spoken. I moved out when I was 16 stayed with some friends from college then quit in 2009 as I wasn't happy. I moved down to London started busking in streets made a few friends, got part time job and a flat share I was using the little bit of money mum left me for when I turned 18 for first few months but it soon ran out. I got fired from my job as I was caught taking food as I was broke I was ashamed of myself and lost everything that I had my room, job, little dignity and few friends I had. I hit rock bottom and took time to bounce back. I started sleeping rough sometimes on streets , sometimes hostels I continued busking the streets making just enough for bit of food and drink it was mum's words that made me stay strong and continue 'You can achieve whatever you want to achieve if you put your heart and soul into it' and I certainly did.

5. How did it feel for you to get noticed and to be asked to do vocals on the Drum'N'Bass track?
Mykaylah: I was out busking one day when I got given this leaflet with a number on the back for a underground club I had heard a few people mention it before but had no idea what wanted me for. I decided I had nothing to lose so rang it and couldn't believe my ears when they said they had heard my voice and wanted me to privde vocals to a track to play in the club. I still had nothing to lose and I thought this could be my big start. I did the vocals the next day and got paid a little cash and invited back to the club at weekend to hear it. It sounded really good on full blast in club and to see people dancing and praising the track and even a few commented on my vocals it felt amazing and for the first time in a while I felt like I belonged.

6. What was it like working with an artist who has become as big as Cherise has?
Mykaylah: Well what can I say Cherise is fast be coming a big name I Had heard of 'Pyramid' and thought it was pretty good and when I got asked to do backing vocals for her album I was thrilled. I was also suprised at how much diversity was on the tracks I did even a little Drum'N'Bass so I felt at home on that track. Cherise herself was amazing and to work with her was amazing but when she spoke to me I nearly died on the spot and her words are what spurred me on to really make 2011 a year for myself and get my name out their.

7. What do you think about shows like AATW?
Mykaylah: Shows like AATW are good to get your name out their, even if you don't win people will normally always mention you and ask and try to find your music if they like you. I was going to enter for series 2 but when you look like i did busking and didn't smell to good I couldn't put myself forward for fear of rejection.

8. Do you have any material set for release?
Mykaylah: At the moment I have my demo tape which i carry around like my pride and joy it was the first thing I made and love it although a bit rough. I'm starting on making a few more tracks end of the month to hopefully get some backing and maybe signed to release an album before the years out.

9. Who do you think will be the (in game) stars of 2011?
Mykaylah: I definately think Cherise is going to be huge from the tracks I have heard on top of 'Pyramid' which was a good start to 'Redlight' which is just totally different to anything I have heard lately will be massive, MattY will continue to be big with hopefully his second album, I also think Alicia Lena, Chloe and Ugenia will have brilliant years

10. What was your favourite (in game) album of 2010?
Mykaylah: Well with being on the streets for most of the year you only hear bits and bobs from cars and shops but Alicia Lena's debut album sounded pretty good and I heard Brit Knox everywhere i went

11. What are your opinions of the labels out there?
Mykaylah: Some labels are great from what I hear and others not so good, I mean some think about the artist and like them to be happy others just sign you leave you and take the rewards and profits without promoting or helping out and end up doing a lot yourself to try and make it.

12. What would it mean to you for a mainstream label to approach you?
Mykaylah: Wow I not even dreamt that far yet I'm still in awe of a the few people I've met but i suppose if a mainstream label wanted me as long as they was out for me and not just profit/reward and cared and showed an interest in my work/style then I'd be happy

Name: Daisy Zungia (Lil Amazin')

Genre: RNB/ Hip-Hop/Pop/Soul/Funk

Birthday: September 11 1989 (Age 21)

Hometown: New York, Chicago

Occupation: Artist, Songwriter, Prouducer, Actress

Years Active: 2010-Present

BIOGRAPHY

Lil Amazin' was born Daisy Zungia in the harsh streets of Chicago in New York just minutes away from Queens. The parents of a forginer mother that was from Spain traveled the world as a living. that's where Lil Amazin got her spanish influences from. She traveled to Chicago to explore and discover the harsh world of the streets but stayed there because she meant Daisy's father, Charles Marvin just days after going into Chicago. It was love at first sight at age of 18. Both got married by the age of 21. That's where Daisy came in. At the tender age of 23, Daisy was entered into this world. The parents were excited to raise this child. As a child, Daisy was a hardcore girl, which loved hanging out with boys instead of girls. She was curious about a lot of things that happened in the streets and got involved in hip hop music at the age of 10. She would go to local hip hop shows after growing the love for hip hop and RNB music with local Chicago artist. Her parents was scared to raise her in Daisy's father hometown because Daisy then started to talk to gang related boys, running around like a boy and also being so hardcore, but sweet as she was. Her mom didnt want that like every girl in Chicago. She started to raise Daisy to be a lady and often taught her about the world that she needs to survive in. She started to play spanish influence music that often sang about strength, power and knowledge of love, life and happiness. Daisy as a little girl will always sing these songs and want to put on shows for her black side of the family. Daisy only knows her Spanish side grandma, grandpa and her auntie. She was raised to treat people right, dont let anyone run over you and be strong. The hardcore, pure Chicago headon got spanish influence by Selena, RNB voice like Toni Braxton and a spanish influeced by Nelly Furtado and a Hip Hop voice like Eve and the late Aayliah. Mixtures of her cultures in one to create a different approch to music. She was always a music lover, loved her town of Chicago. In school, she was always that tom boy that always was popular for her outspoken mind, her loud style and makeup and her sense of humor wild taste like girl that loves to go crazy and speak her damn mind. Love her or hate her but she loves to shine though by her music, voice and word.

Interview 7

Ace Motel

1. How did you two meet?

Kid: We both met at Ithaca U when an off-campus friend of mine(Peter Hampshire) made a band(Dirty Machine Labor) and asked the two of us to join it with him. He played Bass, I played Lead Guitar and Wonder played Keyboards and sang. Pete ended up leaving after a couple of shows while Wonder and I got friendly and did our own thing. We usually just opened for small-time bands and so on until late-2010 when we decided to go full-time.

2. What made you decide to become a musical duo?

Lady: We couldn't find anyone else! We looked all around for a drummer and every fucking one was snatched up. Can't tell you how bad we need one. So we decided to become a Duo because the Forces of Nature wanted us to become one.

3. What are your influences?

Kid: I dunno, it's hard to say. I like some Depeche Mode, Guns N Roses. A lot of Indie Rock and shit.

Lady: A shitload of Ska Punk, I love Big D and the Kids Table, I love Metal. Oh god I love all of it.

4. What are your ambitions within the music industry?

Kid: What are our ambitions? That's another hard one because...is it bad to have no ambitions? I mean, c'mon we're just in it for the fun so far.

5. What do you think of talent shows like AATW?

Lady: I hear so many other people bashing it and so on. I love to conform so I'll bash it as well! All jokes aside, AATW seems like a cool little show. It sets people up and really all that hate on it seems like jealousy, yeah I'm looking at you Barat!

6. Do you have any material set for release?

We recorded 3 songs, easy. Scratchy quality but we wanted to use it for a split with a local band, they gave up so now we need another band to make 3 songs.

7. Who do you think will be the (in game) stars of 2011?

Kid: Glamazon! GirlSpice! Other generic pop stars! Seriously, give me a fuckin' break. You got people like Glamazon and then you got fuckin' classics in the making around your eyes like Fathers of Fury, Lights Go Red, Infinite and so on. I mean FUCK! I want to see the next RUSH more than the next Madonna!

8. What was your favourite (in game) album of 2010?

Kid: Easily Midnight Skies.

Lady: Fairweather! Forever! by Moronic Changeling.

9. What are your opinions on the labels out there?

Lady: I dunno, most of 'em are cool. I don't much like Studio 60.

10. What would it mean for you guys to get signed to a mainstream label?

Kid: It'd mean we've sold out and now all of our music will be about how good it is to buy Kit-Kat bars. In reality though it'd depend. If we get signed on to some plastic label, it'd be hell. Something cool with alot of fun bands would be awesome.

Party Wounds

1. What made you decide to become a group?
Well we all were interested in the local music scene when we were in our early teens and I guess it just blossomed from that really. We all chose what instruments we wanted to learn and the style of music to play and then worked our way from that, nothing fancy, just a group of friends messing around with instruments.

2. What sort of influences do you have?
We’re mainly influenced by post-hardcore bands that have mixed with electronic music, like Enter Shikari, Sky Eats Airplane and Rolo Tomassi, but we are also influenced by metal bands such as Mind and Chimera, to be honest we just have influences that cover pretty much all genres of music.

3. What are your ambitions within the music industry?
We would like become signed to a record label who would support us and make us feel at home on the label. Record a few albums over the next few years and hopefully make an impact on the music scene. Also a headlining tour across America would be amazing, or headlining a festival stage, but even a small chance of that is years away....

4. What do you think about shows like AATW?
They don’t interest us in the slighest.

5. Do you have any material set for release?
We’re currently getting towards the end of our writing stage for our yet to be titled debut album, and are going to be releasing an EP beforehand titled The Razor Teeth EP

6. Who do you think will be the stars of 2011?
Hard to say really, Project; Prometheus will most likely be the best act of 2011, Jason Smith and Eric Quillington are each amazing, so adding them together is likely to cause tremendous results.

7. What was your favourite album of 2010?
Midnight Skies – Infinite, truly amazing album. We were also a fan of the experimental side towards Zzzonked's - Crowded Rooms album, although very few people actually bought/heard it.

8. What are your opinions of the labels out there?
We don’t have that much of an opinion on the labels out there, although we would love to be signed to either Suicide Records, (who have got The Verdict Is Vengeance signed) or Studio60 Records.

9. What would it mean for you to be approached by a mainstream label?
Wouldn’t be that different to a small record label, but it would mean that people would hear our music a lot easier…

1. What made you decide to become a musician?
Well, my late wife Julie always loved hearing me sing, and I did actually release an EP not long after I left school, so I knew I could do it. But, also, I did need a better source of income than my current job, and being a musician is something I can do as well as my other job!

2. What sort of influences have you got?
Well, I listen to a lot of music, but I would say that Infinte have definitely influenced me at least a little bit, Fleetwood Mac were also an influence on me.

3. What are your ambitions within the music industry?
I would really like to make a name for myself by doing something that I enjoy, and at the same time provide a good life for my baby girl, Daisy. It would be amazing to release a few albums and maybe even tour the world!

4. What is it like looking after a 1 year old child on your own, and also having to juggle the rest of your life around it?
Well Daisy is the most important thing to me so I am quite happy to give things up for her. I am not on my own though, my sister Helena was a very good friend of Julie's and she regularly comes and gives me a hand, and sometime comes over and takes her off my hands for a bit so I get a break sometimes. I am really thankful for how amazingly supportive she has been to me.

5. I see that you released an EP before, when you were only 16 years old. What made you wait so long before coming back into he music industry?
Yeah I did, I was young and I couldn't handle the fame I was getting locally. I was wanted everywhere and it was really crazy! I am really thankful for the experience, it has given me a brief glimpse of the industry and what you have to do to make it. I am ready now, and that is why I am back!

6. Do you have any material set for release?
Well i am part way through the processes of making an EP, currently I have 4 tracks down, but it doesn't feel finished yet. I still need to find somewhere to do my recording, unless I do another crappy job like I did with Rose Thorns. I think I have a name for it, but I won't be announcing that yet!

7. Who will be the (in game) stars of 2011?
I think that Project; Prometheus could be pretty big - I mean it is Eric Quillington and Jason Smith! Fathers of Fury could really do something this year. Oh, and you cannot forget Stacey Walton! If she is to release anything this year, you just know it will be huge!

8. What was your favourite (in game) album of 2010?
Easily Infinte's Midnight Skies. Pure class!

9. What do you think of shows like AATW?
I think they are a good way of finding an artist, but I would much prefer to work for my name, rather than get some instant success.

10. What do you think of all if the labels out there?
I think that there are a lot of them bow, but I don't really know a lot about them so I am in no position to judge.

11. What would it mean for a mainstream label to approach you?
It would be great to know I had been noticed, and it would really help with the money side of things!
