CHERISE BLOG 8TH JAN 2011 Hi all xx hope you all had good christmas and new year, thought i should write my first blog of 2011.
Been a busy week considering its only the first one of the year, the album has been unveiled 'Destination Unknown' will be released March 14th in 2 editions standard and deluxe i hope you all like the tracklisting and way it sounds which wasrevealed earlier in the week, I'm in love with it and very proud of it as its my little baby and my first solo album effort.
Also the 2nd single was annonced 'Redlight' will be released before the album on february 28th, it will be getting sent out to radio stations over the next few weeks its already getting a lot of press due to the lyrics and contrast to 'Pyramid' and I'm getting a lot of positive feedback about it. If you didn't know already Celeste co-wrote it with me and I have to ay its my favourite song on the album so I'm happy to get it released to launch the album.
Also if you been following I will be doing a guest appearence on the amazing Alicia Lena tour in August, after i return from Oz after supporting Miss Vanity for that leg of her tour. With all these support slots coming up I thought it was time to show you what i can do and therefore i will be doing my own small tour as well entitled 'Redlight Tour 2011' the dates and venues are just being finalised and will be going up live on this site first. I'm so excited for this i've already got ideas buzzing round my head.

CHERISE - REDLIGHT (THE VIDEO) The studio is all white with three big white boxes in the middle lined next to one another which have three black chairs in the middle and a light on each of the tops of the boxes, Cherise box is the centre box and two female dancers each outer box. there's also three male dancers one for each of the girls.
Each girl takes their place in the box, Cherise sat on her's, the left side dancer stood one leg up on her chair and the right side dancer leaning over her chair. Cherise and the 2 dancers are all dressed in stockings a short white mini skirt and a black and red laced up bodice. Their hair is all pulled back and up into a pony tail off the top of the head.
Each male dancer is dressed in a pin-stripe suit with white shirt and red tie on.
The opening of the video shows the three male dancers getting out of a taxi, pay the driver and hear the beat of the song they walk towards an alleyway and the music starts getting louder and clearer as they get nearer the alleway they look at each other and start to walk down the alleyway as they do they hear the words 'uh oh i got it' , 'uh oh you want it' as they get to middle of alleyway redlight shines on the left box and shows the female dancer battering eyes and flirting, the light goes out and comes on in right side box the female dancers performs erotically, the light goes out and they hear 'uh oh you like it' and then Cherise is revealed sat there looking sexy and provactivly gestures to the men as all three boxes light up and you hear 'uh oh uh oh ohhhh yeahhh' the boxes then all light up bright white then into first verse.
Cherise and her 2 dancers sit on their chairs as she sings the first part of verse, moving arms, rubbing hand slowly up legs, every time go to 'with my redlight on' the box switches from white to red. with the line 'i sit here and whip my hair' each female dancer does that whips their pony tail round as the men walk over to the boxes one to each of them.
The next verse stats with each male dancer arms up holding onto top of the box as they look inside as the three female dancers stare back sat on chair and the open legs while sat on chair (to go with lyrics) each bloke then gets pulled into the box by the female dancer pulling them with their ties like leash and leads them round the chair n out the back.
The red and white lights flash as each female dancer throws the chair out the box and the boxes start to spin round as cherise sings the bridge 'i know that you want until you know i gonna make it(come)' the boxes stop and lights stop flashing as the male dancers reappear hair all ruffled no shirt on carrying suit jacket or trailing on floor with tie each in different position one round head, one undone round neck one hanging out trousers. as they perform a raunchy routine with a female dancer
the male dancers then walk out the boxes as cherise sings next verse 'leave your money on the side...' as the male dancers leave the shot goes to another man coming down the alleyway, the chairs been replaced back in the boxes and the routine from the beginning of the video is repeated with just cherise while singing 'i sit here and stare...' leading the bloke off out the back her light goes off as the other two female dancers re appear their redlight on in boxes as the song fades out until final 'redlight on' then all goes black Also coming soon the Redlight MattY Rap Version Video OOC: sorry its long i got bit into it lol |

Cherise: Wow all happening fast here lately, as you prob heard video prem on itv2 sunday 1am, you can request the song on radio from sunday as well, also had a tour meeting today I'm so excited about it I'm now going through songs to choose my setlist old new and covers... if any of you got any suggestions of any old Ang3licD3vil faves you want me to do or any favourite track you'd like to see me cover let me know I like fan input as its a tour for you the fans |

CHERISE BLOG 19TH JAN 2011 Hey guyss hope your all doing good and enjoying this new year so far. I promised you a blog so thats what am doing.
I been very busy since returning after xmas and new year as you will of seen and heard 'Redlight' is the new single out 28th feb and the video premiered last weekend and the response has been electrifying there will be a 2nd video version out soon featuring MattY as you know he has re-worked 'Redlight' with him rapping in it which is brilliant gives a fresh twist on it and he's a pure master. The album also was unveiled 'Destination Unknown' out 14th march, if you keep eye on the album thread you will see that lyric teasers are being revealed over the next few weeks for each song on there. The album as I posted previously has been tipped as one of the top 5 for this year I'm buzzing about that and really hope it is as enjoyable for you lot as it is for me I am really proud of my work.
The tour was also annnounced kicking off in march through til april before a short break then off to Aus for Miss Vanity tour then back for Alicia Lena so its all go there. Millie Little a star in making will be supporting my tour and can't wait for it. Hope I'm going to put on a good show for you all to enjoy.
Also as you may of heard rumours I am recording a track with MattY which I am soooo excited about having worked with him on many many many occassions I can say honestly everytime its like the first cos he just amazes you with different styles and ways and always brings out the best in me.
Well thats a blog update for you all, all info in one place. I will be releasing a third single from the album about april/may time not sure what yet but if you have any favourites please feel free to contact me via the site or email (OOC:PM). After that and the tours I am hoping to be back in the studio sept/october time for the follow up I'm already buzzing with ideas for it and can't wait to get cracking
