"Oooh a chicken salad actually sounds really good right now think I might go with that one" She smiles then drinks more of her coffee "You need any help with the cup cakes or the table? And I know it's surprising that this is actually the first time we're going to all actually use it together"

"Really? You knew you were gay from that early on? I don't even think I thought about who I liked when I was ten..." Vara says back with a smile, although when she thought about it, it was only a couple years later than ten that she kissed her first girl and realized that she liked it as much as she did kissing her first boy. "Oh, it's very fun liking both. My chances of having a date every Friday night goes up roughly 100% because of it," she jokes and another wink. "I think sexually, I prefer men, but emotionally, I prefer women. I enjoy being in relationships with women more than I do men. But I love dick. It's a rough life, this one of mine." She laughs.

"Yeah I hope it will." She smiles. "Can I ask something? Like, just a question. How do you feel about the whole Chris and Daisy hooking up? Like, I don't know, I kind of feel gutted in a weird way but then I know a lot of us had a crush on him as well. I don't want to sound jealous or anything but I'm allowed to feel something."

Ashley shrugs a little when she brings up Daisy and Chris "I mean honestly yeah I have a crush on Chris and stuff but I don't know it's just a crush so I'm trying not to let it bother me I mean of course I feel something too maybe it's a bit of jealousy or maybe it's because I told her that I liked Chris but I guess I'm just trying to put in my head that it's Big Brother and hook ups happen"

"Yeah, I understand that... I know it's not the same, but when I started to realize that I was just as comfortable around one gender as I was the other, I just shrugged it off. I have a lot of brothers - big Italian Catholic family, you know - and I assumed that I like that because I was so comfortable with them. So when I was like, 'Oh, no, I'm actually just attracted to both men and women,' it wasn't a huge impact." Vara smiles, enjoying this conversation with Daisy. It was probably one of the realest conversations she had had so far in the house. "No, we're not together," she says, a bit of sadness in her voice when Daisy asks about her and Mariko. "Mariko has a girlfriend that she sees, like, five times a year, but they just moved in together, so..." She shrugs. "We have a complicated relationship. So, yes, I'm still seeking out ' the one.'" She makes little quotation marks with her fingers at "the one." She giggles again when Daisy metions her hook up with Christopher again. "Yeah, they're nice. They're not pretty, you know, but they get the job done."

Daisy nods and smiles at Vara. "That's so nice. I always find it nice when people are comfortable with their sexuality. Like I understand when people hide it from others...but when they try to hide it from themselves and try to bury their feelings, I just feel like it's a sad time, you know?" She looks a little sad, because she had met a few girls like that. "How did you find it like...coming out...to a Catholic family? Were they all traditional and stuff? Because I'm from a Catholic family...and some of them still don't know," she smirks. "I know they would take it badly if they know, but I'm sure I'll tell them at some point." Daisy was glad to have someone to talk to about this. Most of the people she spoke to about her sexuality were either straight or a girlfriend, so it never felt as genuine as this. "Oh...right. I'm sorry. Would you...want to be with Mariko, you know, if she didn't have a girlfriend? Like I know she likes you too. Have you ever asked her? Sorry if I'm asking too many personal questions," she giggles. "Yeah...they're certainly not pretty...and they don't taste as good as pussy neither..." she laughs. "But I guess they would get the job done if you like that sorta thing," she winks.

Vara nods as well, completely agreeing with everything that Daisy has said. "Oh, I know, I know. I'm a very big believer is being honest with yourself. Being honest with everybody else is optional." She grins. "I never really told my family straight out that I was bi, but I think most of them already knew. When I moved out of my family's house when I was eighteen, I moved in with a girlfriend. At first, my family just thought she was a roommate, and I let them believe that, but after a while I started referring to her as my girlfriend, and they just went with it. They never really asked any questions, or wanted to have a big discussion about it, because they knew I liked guys as well. I'm willing to bet that most of them just thought it was a 'phase' I was going through or something shitty like that." She laughs. "We still haven't talked about it since, though. And I'm much more open about my sexuality now. I've spoken about it in interviews, and when Mariko and I were first fooling around, we were extremely open about it. But my family has yet to make a big deal out of it, so either they're in denial, or they just don't have a problem with it." She shrugs. "What about you? Did your family make a big fuss over it, or were they generally accepting?" She had heard some real horror stories before about people coming out to their families and getting disowned and rejected by them. That broke her heart. Vara hardly ever saw her family now, but they still meant a lot to her, and she couldn't imagine being rejected and hated by them. "I think I would," she answers when Daisy asks about Mariko. "There's always been this bond between Mariko and I that has gone beyond friendship, but we never really gave it a chance because usually one of us was in a relationship. We talked about it a couple days ago, and I think that we are probably just going to keep twat swatting each other until that day comes when we're both single." She laughs again, but this time it's a bit strained and odd sounding, even to her. "No, no, it's fine, it's fine. What about you? Do you have anybody in the house that you have a crush on or anything like that? Besides Christopher's dick, we already know you're pretty into that." She winks.

Harmony comes skipping into the kitchen with a big smile on her face. "Hiiiiiii everyone! It's dinner day!" She grabs a skillet from where all the other pots and pans are and goes over to the stove, putting it down. "Nova, can you turn the stove on for me?"

Daisy skips over to Nova and smiles at her when she starts cooking. She puts two cans of her haggis into a pot and puts it on the hob. "Cooking something sweet for me, beautiful?" she asks Nova with a wink before she gently slaps her butt and laughs.

Daisy smiles as she listens to Vara's story of coming out. She had thought that Vara maybe didn't like her since they hadn't talked much since they both came in here, but she was glad to be wrong, because Vara was lovely and open and honest, which made Daisy feel relaxed. "Awww that's so nice that they just let you do you. I mean...a lot of catholic families struggle with that, so it's nice that they just accepted your choices. They must love you a lot," Daisy beams at her. When she's asked how she came out, Daisy shrugs and looks down for a moment. Her story wasn't as cool or continental as Vara's so she felt a bit lame. "Mine is a weird one," she giggles. "Like a lot of my family don't know. I could never tell my grandma or my aunts and uncles, although I guess they might know now if they've watched me on here at all," she laughs. "I told my sister first. She was 15 and I was 13 and she was telling me all about her boyfriend. I asked her if she would be mad if I told her I liked girls, and she hugged me and said that I should never change anything about myself for anyone. That sort of helped me get through a hard period of trying to decide whether to hide it from people or not." She pauses. "But my mum found out in a way I didn't want her to...." she laughs nervously. "When I was 16...I kinda got caught in an art class at school at lunch time...eating out my girlfriend," she giggles. "And they told my mum, so I kinda had to admit it to her. She wasn't happy, and she thought it was "wrong" at first, but she came to deal with it, and now she accepts that it's just who I am." She listens again when Vara talks about Mariko and Daisy couldn;t help but to smile. It seemed like the two of them were really into each other, which she found to be really sweet. "Maybe some day then, huh? I hope it works out so that you both get to be happy," Daisy smiles. She playfully slaps Vara's arm when she talks about her loving Chris' dick, but when she asks her who she has a crush on, Daisy looks up and speaks quietly. "Nova," she says to Vara. "Big time. I think she's perfect. So sweet and friendly, and looks wise she is just the perfect girl for me. She's so hot. And also we shared a be the other night, just sleeping, and it was the best thing ever," she coos. "I loved cuddling up to her. God I feel like such a lovesick teenager....but she's amazing," Daisy smiles across the room.

"Yeah, my family is pretty awesome. Almost everybody in it is part of the arts community in some way, so it wasn't like they were shocked to find out that people can be gay, you know? They're good people." Vara leans in closely when Daisy tells her her coming out story, almost fascinated by the little bit she knew about Daisy's life. "Woah, back up. You were eating out your girlfriend in an art room? You couldn't have picked a more romantic spot than that? Like, I don't know, the romance section of the school library or something?" She laughs, clapping her hands at the story. "Whatever. You win. That's my favorite story so far." She calms down when they start talking about Mariko again. "Yeah, maybe," she says back with very little hope or enthusiasm in her voice. She knew that the chances of her and Mariko ever actually being together were slim to none, but it was nice to hear that at least somebody was rooting for them. The grin on her face grows when Daisy starts telling her about her crush. "That's so god damn adorable," she says when she done, nudging her lightly with her elbow. "Is Nova into girls? I didn't think she was, because, like, a week ago I kissed her, and she wasn't into it, like at all. But maybe she just wasn't into me," Vara tells her, oblivious to the fact that admitting that at one point she kissed Daisy's crush might upset Daisy a little bit. "So you just slept next to each other? How did that happen?"
