"Of course. That's what friends are for right? At least I consider us friends." She smiles at her. Nova was the type of person to comfort others because she hated seeing people down.

Daniel continues to swap the little flying bug as he hums to "Boombastic" by Shaggy, finally catching the little fucker.

"Got you!" he sweeps the bug and dumps it inside the trash can.

Vara shrugs and leans up, giving Nova a small kiss on the lips. It was quick, but she was just testing the waters. She didn't even know if Nova was into chicks - not that Vara hadn't turned some women over to the bi-side in her time. "Just... thank you for coming out here. Really," she says after the kiss, moving her head back to Nova's shoulder.

Nova kept staring down at her for a moment, not sure what to say or do for that matter. "Uh, you're welcome." She had kissed girls before, so she didn't think it was that much of a big deal, but she had never dated a girl ever and she sensed that maybe Vara was either relying on her now that Mariko wasn't so friendly with her or she was just very emotional and Nova was there. "Anytime," she says softly.

mariko looks up from her slice of cheese to see vara. she remained expressionless,but did dart here eyes around at the numorous things she wanted to hit vara with. " i do not know. do i have permission to speak,miss vara gallo?" mariko says slowly,and emphasizing every syllable.

"Stop. Please. I'm trying to be an adult," Vara says, sitting on the counter. "I'm sorry I upset you. I wasn't trying to. You know I love you. Please don't be mad at me. I know you don't know what's been going on between Daniel and I, but we've been fighting... a lot. He's just a horrible person. And he only sent you to do that because he knew it would piss me off. I was upset, and I took it out on you. I'm sorry." She sighs. This was a big moment for Vara, who never apologized for anything.

mariko nods as vara speaks. vara says a lot of things easily,but mariko knew apologies were not in that basket. she clasps her hands together and looks at the floor. in retropect,she felt like a fool. for both being used by daniel and being "burn the house down" angry with vara. "oh..i did not know. i actually thought he liked you and was trying to advertise to you." mariko says in a small voice,finally looking to vara. mariko let a single tear fall from her eye. if it was anyone other than vara,she would have held it in. "i am sorry too,vara chan. i thought this silly game had gotten to you and you were trying to hurt me...i am so sorry,vara chan." mariko says softly. "permission to hug,miss gallo?" mariko says,swallowing.

she hugs vara surprisingly tight. all those wild antics made mariko very strong.mariko shakes her head,also crying into vara's shoulder.. "i will not be mad at you again. especially if that curly haired bastard is involved..if only knew,vara chan." mariko says,hugging vara tightly. mariko hated being used,and especially used against her friend. "together we are in this house. no matter what. especially against him." mariko says in varas ear. she crosses her fingers and holds them to vara. "this is us. we will stick together...i am on top." mariko laughs in her tears. "my father used to tell people that." she smiles while sobbing.

she smiles as they hug. she did love her vara,and did not know what she would do without knowing vara was there for her. "we will take turns." she laughs with a breaking voice. she hugs vara and tries to turn her away from the camera." do not be sorry vara chan. you are one of those people that are beautiful when they cry. most people get all snotty and gross." mariko grins,enjoying making vara feel better for once.

" oh vara chan. You are too kind!" Mariko giggles and turns very red. Mariko blushed easily,but vara made her go a deep red. Mariko wasnt as over vara as ahe thought,but chalked it up to being cooped in the same house with her." I need to get to bed. I have a long day of servitude ahead of me tomorrow. " she grins and hugs vara again.
