Too much leather chair is unsightly and greatly increases your risk of leather-smell. |

what i find most amazing about that, is that no matter how much she moves the mike while singing... or however far away from her it is, the sound and quality remains the same.... |
I hate it when people see me at the supermarket and they are like: Hey, what are you doing here? and im just like: Oh you know, hunting elephants |

Anyway...... I love the ending when she is bending while playing the drums. I thought it was creative and exciting. Whether this song was sung live or not, it was great and it shows why Shakira is one of the most open minded pop artist when it comes to performing.

And yet another performance, I love though I'm sad I have to wait for my album that I pre-ordered a little longer.

No, I think you'll find that was a textbook example of sarcasm and not at all a failed attempt at sarcasm. |

Get back on topic, all of you. -If you are here to just bash, get the hell out, you will be ignored. -IF you hate or don't like Shakira and you have something to say, say it but don't bash. Do you want me to come your "metal threads or Rock band thread" and bash?? Um no. You must be so interested in Shakira "Whether you like her or not" You are interested. Same thing with the Britney thread. Edited by user 15 October 2009 10:59:52(UTC)

I think the point is, say I were to put up a thread about Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. You've never heard of Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, therefore your opinion on their music is uninformed. We've all heard Shakira, and Britney, and Beyonce, and Gaga, and whoever else. Therefore our opinion on their music is informed, albeit coloured by a distaste for overtly sexual modern commercial pop music. |

That new Shakira song is complete shite. Nothing catchy about it at all. At least Lady Gaga can be pretty catchy at times (yes, I said). I caught myself tapping along with Paparazzi and Pokerface when I was stuck in a traffic a while back.

I can tell by your ignorant comments. And that's not the point, I did say if you have something to say about Shakira even if you hate her say it, but don't bash just to piss me off like Forkboy or Rincewind do. Saying she mimed isn't trying to prove a point cuz we all know many pop artist mime. That's why I made a thread about that. For example the She wolf video, if you hate it and you want to say something, (you are obviously interested in it) say it in a constructive way otherwise from now on I will ignore you. I'm not trying to say that it will make a difference to the person by me ignoring them but it will make a difference to me, because they are just talking to the air. Anyway, I don't care no more go on ahead say what you have to say, and If it needs to be ignored I'll ignore it. This is not a big deal, lets move on now.

Wrong. If Shakira was something I'd like I wouldn't say anything negative about her music. Because that's all that matters. Her videos are irrelevant in the scheme of things, and so are your opinions, to me at least. Something that's good is good and I'll say it's good, something that's not is not and I'll say that too. Neither the world or the planet revolves around you. |
