Well-known music management group Dark Blue Music have agreed to release the one-off single "If U Seek A Bikki" by Laura Firecracker.

Laura Firecracker, who is the 26-year-old sister of Firecracker 47 twins Joshy and Roxy and In The Cold You Look So Fierce guitarist Molly, says - "I wouldn't normally get involved in the music industry, let alone release something like this, but Bikki Kitton whatshername .... well, she deserves a public slating. If Billy Maddison can write a parody for that Briskett girl, I can do it for Bikki. She deserves it more. You don't mess with my family."

"The difference is," says Misty 'Mikki' Moo, bandmate to all of Firecracker's musician siblings, "K.Briskett actually deserved it, and Billy Maddison can actually perform. Bikki does not, and Laura can't sing a note, and who is she to call ANYONE slutty or trashy when she does artwork dressed like that? Also, isn't it convenient how Laura's releasing this on the same day as Bikki releases 'Halo'/'Suffragette'? Trying to compete are we? Bitch."

"If U Seek A Bikki" will be released tomorrow, on the same day as Bikki's debut single, "Halo"/"Suffragette", which features Raven Comatose, Stephanie Fierce and Madbirds alongside Laura Firecracker's song subject. Kitton herself declined to comment.

Laura Firecracker - "If U Seek A Bikki" shifted 137,029 copies, and managed to get into the UK Top 40.

Meanwhile, Bikki - "Halo"/"Suffragette" sold 164,171 copies, and broke not only the UK Top 40 but also the USA, Canada, Aus & NZ and World charts.
Bikki had most success in the USA, possibly due to renowned American solo artists Stephanie Fierce and Raven Comatose featuring on the songs "Halo" and "Suffragette" respectively. Also featuring were Madbirds ("Halo"), and on the surprise B-side "Break", Firecracker 47.
"If Shakira had it off with You Me At Six, I'd watch .... I mean, erm, 'Break' is what you'd get," says James Kairiri of Firecracker 47. "It's Bikki's comeback at Laura. It's a shame that it was only a B-side, it's really catchy, if this was the lead single you'd have everyone singing it all day long."
