Josh smiles when she says she's got some Australian in her. "You wouldn't guess from that porcelain complexion. Most white people over there look like leather handbags." He laughs softly before taking the tea. When her hand touches his, though, he feels an instant spark between them as he looks up at her. He freezes for a second as they stare before he snaps out of it. "Oh...umm...no it's ok. Thank you for the tea."

"You must just be too pure for the sun to be able to get you," Josh smiles. For anyone else it would seem like a corny pick up line, but he was being quite serious when he said it. When she sits and nervously looks away, Josh looks down. He wanted to bring it up, but in his own mind, breaking that silence seemed so difficult. He's glad when she asks a question, even if it wasn't what he wanted to talk about. "Oh....um no. I've been doing session work mostly. I heard you guys have had something out though, right?" He smiles sweetly at her.

Josh looks impressed. He was always happy to see Jade doing well, because in his mind she was the most talented singer in the world. "Really? That's amazing! Next stop, Madison Square Garden, right? Did I hear you're doing Warped? You don't happen to need a session guitarist for the tour do you?" he asks with a little smile. Josh was starting to relax more now than he had been. He shrugs when she asks how long he's around for. "I've got no plans at the moment. All the time in the world. How come? Not trying to get rid of me already are you?" He smiles to show he's joking with her.

"Well if you do want a guitarist to tour with you, I'm up for it," Josh says with a smile, not realising how it might be awkward for two exes to be working together. When she tells him he can stay longer, he nods and smiles. "I might just do that. It's been too long since we hung out." The next thing she says knocks him sideways though. He had hoped she wouldn't bring up the breakup that he still regretted so much. He nods slowly and then shakes his head. "I know...I..hey listen I'm sorry for how it all happened Jade. I should never have done that. I should never have broken up with you. I just didn't want you to have to wait for me while I was away for so long." He looks down at his feet, ashamed.

Josh sighs. The way she accepted what he was saying almost made it seem like she was over him, and it made him sad to hear that. He couldn't blame her at all though. He had finished with her and gone off around the world after all. "You're too sweet," he says, trying to force a smile. He takes a drink of his tea and puts the cup down. "I still wish I hadn't gone at all, actually. I guess there's no point in me dwelling on the past though, right?"

Josh is just taking a drink when he hears Jade casually drop into the conversation that she would want to give it another go with him, and he nearly chokes on his drink. He had thought that after he did what he did, she would never want him again. He loved her as much now as he always did, though, so he was delighted to hear her say that. In the whole time he had been apart from her, he had never even thought about being with anyone else. "Ummm....no I'm not hungry. Do you...do you really want me back, Jade?" he asks timidly.

Josh listens to her and nods slowly. She didn't have to convince him at all that they should give this another go, as he definitely wanted to make it work with her. The more she speaks, the more she smiles, and eventually he moves over to sit beside her, holding her hand gently. "I love you, Jade," he says softly. "Let's not be far away. I really want to make this work between us. You're right, we owe it to ourselves after last time."

Josh smiles at her and moves forward a little, touching his forehead gently against hers. He was so glad to be even getting another chance with Jade, because he barely even felt like he deserved it. "It was actually just good chance that I passed and recognised your home. If I was soppy I would say it was fate. Hey....who am I kidding? You know I'm soppy," he chuckles. "I'm so glad I found you again."

The second their lips touch, Josh feels that immediate spark between them that he just knew he would never have with anyone else but Jade. She was his true love for sure. He closes his eyes and leans in, placing his hands on her waist as their kiss seemingly becomes the only thing in the world for them both. Josh pulls her a little closer to him as he savours the familiar but perfect feel of her soft lips pressing lovingly against his own, kissing him like only Jade could.

Josh smiles when Jade touches his face. It's like she was checking that he was really there. When she says that she knew who she wanted, he doesn't care to ask. He knew that the two of them were supposed to be together, no matter what had happened in the last few months. "I never doubted that you were the girl for me," he tells her. "I just never dreamed I would get a second chance." he leans forward and gives her another kiss, this time laced with a bit more passion.
