MattY gets there just before her, "Look, listen to me. You will leave this stuff alone; it isnt your fault - this isn't your house so why should you have to clean it?! Just STOP!" he is almost shouting the last bit.

His face stings as she slaps him, he breathes in and then out again slowly, "I think it's time for you to leave Cherise..." he says calmly.

MattY realises where she is going and rushes after her, he gets to the door of the baby's room and can hear her crying. He walks in and really realises how bad this house is. How has he actually managed to live in here for the past week or so.

"Cherise, I am so sorry..."

He holds the picture, and looks down at it. He can feel his eyes starting to water. MattY puts the picture down and then races after her. "Cherise, Cherise. Can't i just explain? You dont think that i would do this myself do you? I'm not that fucked up!!"

Rehab Week.

Day 1

So, MattY left for the rehabilitation clinic; leaving Cherise and all of his problems behind him. He felt a weight lift off of his shoulders, he could relax. He was being driven to the clinic in a taxi, and he was about three quarters of the way there when he received a text.



MattY read the text and felt everything crash straight back down on him. ‘Shit’ was the first thought that entered his head. He responded and was told where to go. MattY gave the driver a bit of extra money and he took him back into London to the meeting place.



45 minutes later MattY was stood alone, in a dark alleyway. He felt around in his pocket for a cigarette but realised he had left them all at home – he was trying to give it all up. He sighed and rolled his shoulders. A few footsteps were heard and MattY looked around and could see three hooded figures approaching him.
They arrived and he greeted them all with a brief handshake-into-embrace. “So what do you want me to do?” he said to them.
The leader pulled down his hood; he was a tall man with dark skin. His face was unshaven and his eyes showed signs that he had seen everything that you could see. He was an experienced hand in the streets – one not to mess with. “We’ve got a couple of deals for you to do…”
MattY stood there puzzled, “Is that it? Did that really require you to call me back?”
Joe – the leader – came closer to him. “I wasn’t finished. We are dealing a few firearms to some people that wanna do a raid. They are paying us upfront for the guns, and are gonna give us 10% of what they get. But I don’t trust them. I want someone to go with them.”
MattY looked quite shocked at this. “Me? You want me to go on a raid with a bunch of guys who you don’t trust? No. Get some other crackhead to do it.”
Joe looked at the other two and they each grabbed one of MattY’s arms. They held him against the wall and Joe hit him straight in the stomach. “You will do it…”
MattY spat “How are you gonna make me?” feeling quite smug.
This drew an evil smile from Joe, he moved closer to MattY and whispered in his ear. The blood drained from MattY’s face and he nodded. “I’ll do it.”

Day 3

06:15, it is still dark as MattY meets Joe. They greet eachother and without saying another word Joe hands MattY the bag. It was surprisingly heavy. MattY had never held a gun before, but now he was holding a sports bag with five guns in it. Joe had been holding it with ease and he smirked as he saw the shock on MattY's face.
Joe simply says "Wimp." and leaves MattY in the early morning darkness. He struggles back to the hotel where he sly takes the bag up to his room. He reached the room and fell back onto his bed, where he could retreat to his dreams - at least for a while.



MattY had spent the whole day in his room, just watching crappy daytime TV and eating whatever food he had in their. It was getting dark outside and MattY knew it was time. He pulled on his hoody and picked up the bag; leaving the room. He reached the top of the staircase without any trouble; it was relatively quiet, other than the pounding of his heart. MattY got downstairs without any delays, but then as he got to the door someone stopped him. He turned around and a teenage girl was looking at him.
"You are MattY right?" she said; he could see the excitement in her eyes, but he wasn't supposed to be here and if she told everyone the truth might come out.
"No." he said harshly, "I don't even look like him. I hate it when people stop me to ask if I am MattY." he pulls his hood over his head as he leaves the hotel, leaving the girl standing there feeling stupid.

Within 15 minutes, MattY had slid through the darkness and arrived at the meeting place. Again, he was to make first contact, so he threw another stone. This time it was only one of Kyle's crew. He put out his hand to signal for MattY to give him the bag; which he happily did - although he kept a straight face, no weakness should be shown; not only would he be letting himself down if he showed weakness, but he would also be letting Joe down. MattY followed Kyle's man through the alleyways for what seemed like a life time; it started to rain and MattY felt a chill about him. Kyle's man stopped and stodd flat against a wall; MattY did the same. They stood there for about a minute before Kyle's man signalled for them to move again. Within a minute they had gone through a door and were stood in a dimly lit room.
Kyle is sat in a chair with a beer in his hand; he is watching a TV but gets up when he hears his man and MattY come through the door. "Ah, hello there." he says to MattY, his eyes again going straight through MattY leaving him shivering again. "Okay boys, everyone is here. It is time to go through the plan one more time."
MattY recognises two of the guys that gather around Kyle, but there is still one there that he hasn't seen before. This one person really puts MattY on edge; there is something about him which makes him feel very odd - almost scared. As the group gather around Kyle, he unfolds a piece of paper which has some plans of a building. Looks like these guys are planning a traditional bank robbery... How original. MattY listens intently as Kyle explains the plan.

After about 45 minutes of listening to Kyle go through every step of the plan, MattY has become bored. The idea that he is going to be commiting a pretty major crime doesn't seem to be bothering him anymore. He has resigned himself to the fact that it is going to happen, and his life is about to change massively.
Kyle finishes talking and then signals for one of his men to go and lock the door. No-one is leaving tonight.


OOC: Sorry that this one was a bit crap...

OOC: Yeah ;) that is supposed to be the plan - there is far more to come...

OOC: haha, yeah - well we've been planning something major for absolutely ages, and then like never did anything about it - and now it is getting close i needed to get these going xD

OOC: Yeah my computer has been all over the place; viruses, and just generally not connecting to the interent for longer than 10 minutes here and there has been a real problem for the last week or so. Hopefully it will keep working now :)

Day 4

It was 3am, and MattY hadn't slept. There was no way he was getting out of this situation. MattY had spent the last few hours thinking; thinking about what he was going to do today, and what was going to happen to Cherise and the baby if he got caught. His mind was a mess.
He sat up on his matress which had been left in the 'kitchen' area - you could hardly call it a kitchen, it had a few empty cupboards in it and a gaping hole where an oven used to be. The scratching of rats in the cupboards had also been a contributing factor to his lack of sleep. It was terrible. He stood up and opened the ripped blind to have a look outside. It was dark, and all he could see was another high building only metres away. This is inner-city london.
He saw a box of cigaretts on the side and slipped one out. There was a lighter next to it which he quickly used to light up. He closed his eyes as he filled his lungs with smoke and then exhaled slowly. He could feel the weight of the world lifting from his shoulders after the first breath...

The day passed slowly as MattY sat around in the empty house. It was boring and cold, and unlike any day he had spent in his life at all. It was 21:32 when Kyle tapped him on the shoulder and thrusted a gun into his hands. "We are going in 8 minutes. Make sure you are ready." MattY already held all of his possessions already, so there was no problem with being ready. His heart suddenly started to beat faster, and MattY could feel his hands starting to sweat. He didn't want to be here, and he knew the other guys didn't want him to be there either, but all he could do was do what they told him to - otherwise he might not ever get to see Cherise, or the baby, ever again.
Eight minutes later, the five of them are walking through the door - MattY is stood just behind the man that he followed to the house, and just in front of the guy who gave him shivers. He could feel his eyes burning through the back of his head, he almost turned around to ask him to stop looking at him, but he didn't want to get into trouble with these guys - that is the last thing he wanted to do right now.

30 minutes later, they had reached an alleyway next to a bank. The plan was for two people to go through the front, and three through the back. MattY was picked to go through the back, along with Kyle and Zakk. This was the first time he had heard Zakk's name, looking at him still sent shivers down his spine. The three of them slunk through the darkness until they found a door which lead into the building. It surprisingly was unlocked, which saved them a massive amount of time. They went through the door and followed the corridors until they found a staff room. There was two men stood having a coffee in this room as Kyle opened the door. The two men froze as they saw Kyle point a gun at them.
"Who fancies taking me to the safes?" He said, his voice cold and hard, visible making one man shudder. Neither of them said a word for almost a minute. "Do i have to encourage you?" Again they stood still and said nothing. Kyle lifted the gun and pulled the trigger. The man on the right fell to the floor motionlessly with blood spurting from his forehead. The gun had been silenced; Kyle knew exactly what to do. The blood drained from the other mans face and he started nodding and pointed towards the door. "You are going to take us, are you?" he smirks as he sees the man looking so pathetic and broken after one simple gunshot.
The man walks towards the door and, voice cracking, whimpers "Come this way". The three of them followed him through the corridors to a staircase. It went down under the ground floor. This must have been where the money was kept... MattY followed the others down the staircase and to a vault. The door was probably almost 7 foot tall, and probably the same distance across, and MattY watched as the man who was visibly shaking opened the vault. Kyle's gun was pressed to the back of the mans head as he did it and MattY caught a glimpse of a tear streaming down his face.

He moved away from the door as it opened and the man turned slowly around as Kyle thanked him. MattY could see straight into his eyes as the man realised there was no way he was getting away. Kyle laughed as he watched the man fall backwards with a hole between his eyes. MattY could feel the blood drain from his face, he had just watched two men die. His whole life has just changed forever...
