The goal for The Sound Magazine is to personally write about the endeavors of musicians/rp's that I find interesting.
This isn't a character RP, It's a real RP from me, BDYLAN88. From the heart to the brain to the page. I am not here to
attack anybody. But I will give my critical feedback. TSM aims for honesty, not entertainment.

Issue/Post #1 will be posted this week. This means I will be looking at the past pages of the RP forum. I already have some things
I would like to write about. So I hope everybody enjoys my little venture into this side of the TRG.

Thank you.

- BDYLAN88

OOC: Well what an interesting thing to say when coming from a fellow magazine owner/creator. Nothing competitive about that.

I see no reason why this should go badly, he is a great RPer and is able to read an rp just as easy as anyone.

Ooc: in no way did I say that it'll be bad. I appreciate he can write a good RP and I don't think for a minute that he can't do this and do it well. I was commenting on something else altogether, completely unrelated to his ability to write an RP

Plus there's no competition anyway cos I've stopped doing Chaos.

THE SOUND MAGAZINE #1: The rise of The Band!

In Yorkshire, UK grew a sound that is quickly beginning to be heard around the world. That sound is a mixture
of Alternative Rock, Post Punk Revival, meshed wonderfully with Jazz-Fusion. The owners of this sound are
The Band.

The Band consists of four young guns: Kim Black on bass/lead vocals. John York on lead guitar. Ian Black on Rhythm
and Edmund Pitt on drums. All our multitalented.

It was not long ago that The Band released their debut, double album, England's Latest Attraction, a debut that smashed
it's way to the top 100 in the UK. The album went silver within weeks. The critics seemed taken aback by these young, talented,
and smilingly cocky group of musicians. I mean releasing a double album as your debut is a very bold move. But this gamble was
smart, well calculated and ultimately the right move because The Band has quickly become hot property.

Now The Band has released their sophomore album (cleverly entitled), The Bands Second Album . Now this album sets in
stone that The Band is here to stay. Not only do they do something new but they do it in a style that only The Band could do it. The raw power
punk/jazz n rock will wow you. Don't Let Me Down, Bloody Disgrace, The House Of Lords are simply outstanding. Bands with experience
and a few records under their belts can't even do what The Band has done on their sophomore album, and that is to expand the creative process,
and construct something entirely new, yet familiar. The Beatles did it in the 60's with their surreal deal, and Dylan did in the 70's with his country sound.
Now The Band have done it. 4/4

The User
JOHN: I've been following John for sometime. His RP's are solid. I really like that he keeps him mostly texted based.
Though an album cover wouldn't hurt. He breathes life into his RP by giving his act a distinctive voice. 4/4

Final Thoughts

+All I can say is I cannot wait to see what The Band does next.

- I fear that their egos will develop into a monster. Can they control it?

OOC: You did a really nice job, man! If you haven't won over any of the doubters with this, I'm sure you will in due time. I don't know if you're taking requests or anything, but if you ever need some material to write about, there's always Infinite.
Kid Anything- Indie/Britpop/Shoegaze; influenced by Sigur Ros, XXYYXX, Kanye West, Blur, Oasis

(Bringing together an eclectic group of influences, Ulysses' songs are sung with carefree abandon by Nick Junk)

Kurt Ulysses - Songwriter, Guitarist, Backup Vocalist
Nick Junk - Vocals, Mojo

Infinite- Alternative/Experimental Rock; influenced by Muse, Radiohead, and The Beatles

(Known best for their experimental music and their frontman's eccentric behavior, the band disbanded after Eric Quillington's death to pursue solo careers or, in Matt Robert's case, peace of mind. Infinite released four albums over the course of their career; Blue Nebula, Midnight Skies, Insomnia, and Dancing about Architecture.)

Eric Quillington (Deceased) - Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar, Piano, Primary Lyricist
Matt Roberts - Bass
Greg Oldson - Drums, Backup Vocals, Secondary Lyricist
Amelia Florentine - Keyboards, Piano, Lyricist, Backup Vocals

"When asked 'how do you write?' I invariably answer, 'one word at a time', and this answer is invariably dismissed. But that's all it is. It sounds too simple to be true, but consider the Great Wall of China, if you will: one stone at a time, man. That's all. One stone at a time. But I've read you can see that motherfucker from space without a telescope."
