Chase Graham

Biography Chase Aubrey Clayton Graham is an American Hip-Hop musician, songwriter and recording artist. He was born on the 20th of August, 1990 in New York, New York. He is the son of James Graham; a former world-famous blues guitarist and, and Patricia Graham, an art teacher. Three of his aunties are also musicians. His father is an African-American from Brooklyn, New York, and his mother is half Canadian. His parents divorced when he was 9, and he was raised by his mother in Brooklyn. He has stated that his parents’ divorce greatly affected him, saying “I had to grow up real fast and become a man because both of my brothers moved to San Diego with my mom. So I had to become more mature.” Chase is the youngest of 9 siblings. He has two older brothers and six older sisters. He is the only musically talented person in his family. He spent most He attended high school at Abraham Lincoln High School, where he began acting, but didn’t graduate. He spent most of his summers with his father in his new home in San Diego, California.
When Chase was 14 he began singing and rapping at school at lunch times and often attracted crowds of up to 50 students. When he was 15 he met Ramon Omari at a Jay-Z show in New York and they soon began rapping and writing music together. In 2011, Chase co-wrote some of the songs on Ramon Omari’s debut album Revelations: Part I, including the smash hit single ‘Ms. Hollywood.’ He is currently writing songs with Omari for his own debut album which Omari will produce. He is also supporting Omari on the ‘Night Terrors Tour,’ which begins on the 20th of September.
