Aubrey looks around at all the people glancing at them and speaking in whispers. It almost made her upset that all of these people assumed that Matt wasn't a nice guy just because of how he looked. In a moment of defiance, she sticks her tongue out at an older couple staring at them. It a childish action, Aubrey knew that, but she saw it as being just as childish as they were. The couple seems offended and quickly walks away from them. "Fuck them," Aubrey whispers back with a small laugh. "They have boring lives anyway." She giggles when he talks about his bias fans that call him hot. "That must be a really awesome perk of being a man in a band," she says, thinking out loud. "We don't get hot guys who come backstage and tell us how attractive we are. The best we get are emails with dick pics. And those are flattering, I guess, but... you know..." She giggles again, giving his hand a little squeeze. She smiles when Matt assures her about her parents. She knew that he was right, but it felt good all the same to bitch about her parents every once in a while just the same. "I know, I know. I forgave them when I found out that they had pre-ordered Cherry Street's debut album the first day you were able to. They're good, successful people, and they just want me to be the same..." She rattles off, quoting her own parents in the end. She loved them, but she was ultimately happy to be out of their house and living with her bandmates instead. She thinks for a moment about what her favorite pizza toppings were. "Hmm... pepperoni, black olive, and mushroom. And they better be good mushrooms, or I send the whole thing back. I'm very picky about my shrooms." Aubrey looks around the room that they've entered, looking at the art hanging on the wall. "I'm going to sound very plebeian, but," she starts, staring at a piece, "it's not very often that I'm impressed by modern art. I always look at it and say, 'What? That's art? I could do that!' And then I go home, stare at a canvas for twenty minutes, get bored, and watch Game of Thrones. I think talent doesn't really matter now like it did in the times of Picasso and Matisse. I think what impresses people the most is the fact that somebody had the focus for long enough to even paint anything at all." She turns back to Matt and gives him a small smile. "At least, that's what I think." She nods, grinning when he explains his love for art. Something that she did expect from him was a love of shocking people - it made him more and more fascinating to her. She lets go of his hand and starts to walk to the other side of the room to look at the art hanging over there when Matt asks one of Aubrey's favorite questions: "Think you can keep up?" She turns back around to him, a small smile on her face, her eyes narrowed in an almost sexy fashion. She adored a challenge more than anything else, and teasingly being issued one had absolutely made her day. "Oh, I think I can keep up just fine, Matt," she says back, a small giggle to her voice. "We'll just have to see if you can keep up with me." Challenge issued back.
