I always liked The Tallest Man on Earth, but this isn't my favorite of his. His distinct voice gives the track its own voice and the melodic strumming is great.

7/10.

6/10: Thought that was quite cool, but it just didn't really click with me. Can't put my finger on it because I usually like that kind of thing but it just felt a little (and I hate the word so, so much.) - bland. Just didn't catch me. So sorry Anxious

A little bit of Beatles because I noticed there wasn't any on here...

classic beatles song, and one of the few that i actually like (not a massive beatles fan here, think they have some great songs and some utter shite).
what can you say? good guitar riffs, anthemic chorus and very good lyrics.. 7/10 from me

since the idea of this is to be intorduced to new music that you like and others may not.. My next choice is going to be a French singer / piano player's song remixed by a DJ
I hate it when people see me at the supermarket and they are like:

Coeur De Pirate - Comme Des Enfants
Right, it's not even started properly & I'm on the back foot already because the word "dubstep" has just flashed onto my screen. Shudder. Nice enough voice. Over 90 seconds in & I haven't torn my ears off my head yet, no terrible dubstep drop, that's a bonus. Kind of vaguely reminds me of Architechure of Helsinki, but not really. I don't think I'd find myself rushing to turn this off, but simultaneously it's not really my vibe & I can't see me spending money on a CD like this. But the voice is quite nice. Definitely better than I expected.
3/5

And so I present to you a track I just listened to & think is lovely.

Nice and psychedelic, and finds good legs by the 1:30 mark. Like the vocals a bunch too. Actually would not have a problem at all listening to this again, big fan of the effect at around the 2 minute mark too.
8/10

This/That:
Olivia Tremor Control & one of Elephant Six's most well-known songs.

i like this, Never heard of Elephant six before but im sure i will be tracking down more songs by them in the future...
i see this as just a nice summer song to sit outside and chill with, simple harmonics, but damn it it works! 4/5

becaus ei don't like suggesting easy songs, here we have Robbie Willaims with a song about a monkey....

9/10!
You've brought it back with a great song from an album which I thought got a lot of hate for no real reason.

These guys aren't doing a whole lot at the moment, but I love 'em!

I hadn't heard of that band before, if I'm being honest haha. Not a massive fan of the vocal style, but it was a decent song with a nice riff going on and I enjoyed it. I might even check out some of their other stuff if I remember/get the chance. 7/10

Probably one of my favourite songs at the moment.

Can't go wrong with a bit of Brand New, great song but not my favourite from them to be honest, still great though. 8/10

I'd never heard of this band before I saw them supporting Don Broco last year but I think they're brilliant.

That was...interesting. I wouldn't really listen to it again unless forced so I'd give it about a 5/10.

Been discovering a lot of new music lately (thanks to iTunes) and happened to come across this. I thought it was awesome and I downloaded it.

I liked it when the drums kicked in and stuff and the chorus was cool. But it was a bit too slow and nothing during the verses for me. Not really my up of tea at all but the chorus saves it, so......6/10.

This is a song that came on in my office for months before I found out what it was. Really catchy and fun.

I hate it. But that's because it's exactly the type of music that I hate. This is circular reasoning, and rather subjective to boot. I don't know if this good or bad when compared to others in the genre, so... I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. 5.5/10, to compensate my dislike for my ignorance regarding this particular sort of music.

Aesop Rock - One of the best (white) rappers ever. No contest.
The Disstopian
The Disstopian is simultaneously bringing hiphop back to its root and launching it into the future.

I don't know, at some points i was really into it, and at other points it lost me. i'll give it a 6.5/10. It can't be denied that he's got a fairly good flow to his rap however. not bad.

The People The Poet - Being Human.
Track 12 on their debut album, The Narrator. Genuinely the best album i've heard in it's entirety for years.

6/10, not really my taste of music, but it has a nice sound to it.

The Glitch Mob - "Beyond Right Now" (originally by STS9)

In my opinion it's their best remix.
