Once Veronica pulled up to the shop, she took a deep breathe before going in. There was no telling what would happen between the two of them. They had had some pretty high and low moments in their lives together and they had such a big history. It was kind of hard to just forget someone who you loved, especially in Veronica's case since he was her first love. But she had Eric now and he was everything she needed and more. She told herself no matter what, she would not fall for Rory's old tricks again. She had grown and matured now. She took a few minutes and then finally got outside to go in the shop. It was dark of course so she flipped the switch for the lights to come on.

It was weird for Veronica to see Rory. It had been what seemed like forever ago. They hadn't exactly left on good terms either so there was that awkward feel between the two. Hearing him say her name, it made her heart flutter but she wouldn't show it. She just folded her arms. "So, what did you want to talk to me about that you couldn't talk to me over a message?" She wasn't even sure if it was a good idea to meet him, so her patience was a little thin. She couldn't lie to herself though, it was nice to see him again.

Veronica tried her hardest not to smile or show any signs that she missed him but it was much harder than she thought. Rory had this power over her that she loved/hated. Putting the pair together, anyone could see they were meant for each other. "Seriously?" She rolled her eyes. "I guess that's a nice thought since you went off on tour and then practically forgot I existed. So what made you think of little ol' me this time? What, did your current fling dump you? Did you get tired of groupies?"

Veronica wasn't one to really play nice or be that considerate of other people's feelings, especially when she was angry. She had no problem projecting all her frustrations on to the next person. "You wanted to see me? You thought I would just come running back to you like last time? Well, sorry to burst your bubble but that's not going to happen."

"Not really, no" Veronica lied. She wasn't going to tell him how she was waiting for him to call or message or something to show they were fine. That was the last thing she wanted to do. "And yeah, you messed up but that's nothing you're new to, is it? Look, before you come here messing things up for me I just want to let you know that I've been doing fine, I've been doing amazing. I've stopped becoming that complete wreck I was years ago. I'm getting into acting, I'm actually not sucking at it, and I finally found someone that appreciates me and loves me. Yet here I am standing in front of you." She looks away from him. Of course she missed him but she knew that making the same mistakes over and over again would just be dumb. "Don't try to make this anymore difficult than it already is. We aren't anything anymore."

"And I never wanted you to even go but it's too late for all of that." She looked down at him. "I'm tired of being a game to you. I admit I can be a bitch sometimes but I do have feelings. I do hurt sometimes. You can't just come into my life, make me the happiest I've ever been..." She pauses and then glares at him. "And then leave. Twice. You did it twice, Rory." Veronica had never had the chance to tell him how she felt so it was all coming out now. "So take your pity and shove it, honestly. You're always, 'I'm such a screw up, I'm sorry Veronica, I'll change Veronica, you're the only woman I want, Veronica.' So, excuse me if I don't buy your bs anymore."

Veronica could barely look up at him as she listened to him. They were both getting emotional and she realized probably her more than both of them. Veronica had always in the back of her mind been insecure about herself. So, when Rory left her she saw it as a sign that it was her fault and it pissed her off. She had always tried to be perfect and this went back even to her parents. In her eyes, it was her just getting rejected by a person she loved. She shook her head, realizing she was now crying and she could barely form a sentence now, but when she finally did she didn't sound the same. Just a few minutes ago she sounded viscious and her mind made up about them but now she sounded broken and unsure.

"What did I do, Rory? Honestly, what did I do that you just stopped talking to me and stopped visiting me? That shit hurts. I loved you and I gave you everything I had and you didn't care! You didn't-" Veronica looked away knowing she was on the verge of tears again as she ran her hand through her hair. When he called her 'his girl' she stared at him. If he felt that way then why were they like this? She wanted nothing more than to forgive him and go back to normal but now Eric was involved and she really liked him. "You don't mean that...you're just saying that. Do you honestly think it's easy for me to treat you like this? To pretend I hate you when I-" She stopped herself and took a deep breath before looking away again.

Veronica listened to his explanation, wiping her eyes. She wanted to feel for him but she was still angry at him. "I didn't know it cost anything to text, or skype or call someone. I could handle you being away but you didn't try to contact me at all." She never would've guessed that was the reason why Rory had went back home suddenly after the tour. "Why aren't your band mates helping you? You're a band right? It shouldn't be just on you.." She walked over to him, making him face her. She had seen Rory at his worst so seeing him emotional like this was nothing to her. "You could've told me, Rory. I would've helped. I would've done anything for you back then...I'm sorry I didn't know."

"I was dying to see you...to hear from you. I would've accepted anything Rory. I just wanted us to talk or something. I thought something happened to you or you found someone else. I didn't know what to think." Veronica sighed. "I'm still pissed but...I guess I can understand. I really wish you had just come to me." Now that she knew the truth, Veronica was confused. She knew she still loved Rory but she had moved on now. Too much had changed for them to just pick up where they left off. "Are you still....broke? I can help. And don't try to be all macho and refuse it because we both know the truth."

Veronica shrugged. "None of this even matters anymore. We both just need to move on, once and for all." As much as she didn't want to, she wasn't going to be cruel and make him wait for her or anything. "Hey, look at me.." She grabbed his shoulder gently so he would turn and face her. "You can still come to me for anything and I'll help you. I'm not that heartless person anymore. I do care about you still, even after all this time. I don't think I'll ever stop...but just come to me next time, okay? It's not like I have a shortage of cash or anything." She smiled a little.

While it had been a busy week for Izzy, it had obviously been a slow news day for the media as she recognized her name being brought up on many different blogs, social media sites, and even from some of her own family and friends. For the first time in her career and in her life, she felt as if things were spinning completely out of control. So, when she spoke to Ryan and the two agreed to meet up and talk, she was a bit hesitant. She didn't want anymore stories written about them anymore but she also didn't want to isolate him as she saw him as a friend or at least someone she could be cordial with. The whole situation was weird and confusing but somehow it worked. She wasn't really sure how to feel, it was frustrating a little. As she finally arrived at the place where her and Ryan had their first date, she sighed a little. Pushing back her now short hair, she made her way to their usual spot. She was wearing some blue jeans, a regular t-shirt with a black leather jacket and her purse hanging from her arm. She hadn't seen much of Ryan but she seemed to tense up at the second she saw him sitting at the table. As polite as Izzy was, she couldn't help but to give an awkward smile. "Hey," she said softly.
