Amy was in London for a few recording sessions she was taking a break and decided to go grab a well warm coffee, she headed to the closest Starbucks which happens the one in Covent Garden. Amy walks in the place was absolutely but she was used to crowded places like this so it didn’t faze her. She heads up to the counter when she gets the opportunity. “Hello there can I get a caramel macchiato please”. Amy then taps her card on the card reader and waits for her order. Amy was dressed pretty casually in a long brown overcoat, with a warm wolly jumper on underneath she finished her look with a pair of fitted black jeans and a pair of personalised converses.

Amy was waiting patiently for her order then she heard someone’s voice call over to her. She turns her head and smiles at the man, she was used to the attention being a celebrity and all, however something about him seemed familiar and she looks him up and down and then realised just who it was. It was none other than Sayyid Khan himself the last time the two met things ended in a way that was rather unexpected. “Well hello mister, how are you.” When he asks her what she is doing in London she throws him a bright smile. “Ya know just working, have some recording sessions and whatnot, just stepping out for a much needed coffee”. She then turns to face him giving him her full attention now.

Amy just smile back at him. “Ah well it’s always nice to treat yourself everyone in a while”. When he mention Billy Amy lets out a cute chuckle. “Ah yes Billy I’ve never actually had the pleasure of meeting your very infamous brother but I’ve heard he is a handful”.

“Amy” the barista calls, Amy excuses herself for a moment and then head back over to Sayyid. “Ah where were we, ah yes yeah I am still doing the old music thing, just scored myself a #1 in fact which proper surprised me but of course super happy about it. Amy say’s smiling wide as she was really enjoying her music as of late. Amy ponders on his question. “I mean I am in no rush so I can grab a seat”. She says almost getting lost in his eyes, she couldn’t help but also get taken back to their last encounter.

Amy smiles at Sayyid. “Yeah I can imagine I have a brother and I love him don’t get me wrong but he always drives me mad”. Amy then sits down with Sayyid, the place was packed this afternoon but it was no surprise giving the time and their location.

Amy then chuckles. “I suppose you could say that yeah, honestly thank you I didn’t imagine I’d actually get the big hit with this one because it’s such a unique track for me, believe it or not let out my inner metal head on this song so I didn’t expect it to go over well but it’s obviously has”. Amy then looks at Sayyid. “But hey enough about me and my glamorous life how are you mister, been a long time since I have seen you…how’s your career going?” Amy say with genuine interest in his life and career, wanting to know how his been and what his been up to.

Amy smirks at his comment on her being a headbanger. "Behave yourself mister!". She then shakes her head. "There is no need to apologise for not having a big interest in the world of music it's defiantly a tough industry to work in believe me I would know". Amy was speaking for a lot of personal experience the reason she took time away from the industry was for that very reason. One it was to spend time with her kids and another it was to just remove herself from the crazy industry and just have some normality to her life.

Amy being American didn't really know much about the NHS or health system in the UK. "See I don't know a whole lot about the health system in the UK but I have heard that it has its flaws, but I can only imagine that has helped you greatly owning your own private practise and all". Amy then takes a sip of her coffee and then was intrigued by his muffin they weren't a big thing in America at least not where she was from. "What muffin is that, looks tasty might need to grab one",

Amy chuckles. "I am just messing with you mister, I know what you are like". Amy then laughs. "Gosh yeah I can't even imagine going near peoples mouth like ew gross, so you have more balls than I do". Amy then giggles realising that her choice of words there probably wasn't the best. Amy then takes off her coat much like Sayyid the air was making it uncomfortable to keep her coat on, she was dressed very casually as she often did not revealing all to much.

"Yeah I can imagine that it has its advantages". Amy then listens to him talk about his wallet growing. "Hey I am not gonna judge you do what you gotta do to make money same as everyone else." When Sayyid talks about the muffin and then offers her some she smiles at him. "I might have one little bite not all that hungry myself" Amy then takes a little bit off and eats it. "Mh not sure on the banana if I am honest not a huge fan of banana's but I can see why people like these"

Amy chuckles. “Well yeah that definitely wouldn’t work in your favour that is true”. Amy wasn’t expecting to walk into Sayyid ever again after there last encounter but it was nice to just sit down and talk but she couldn’t help but admire the view in front of her Sayyid was by far in Amy’s eyes the hottest of the three Khan brothers. She then scrunches her face when he mentions the guy having not brushed his teeth since 1997. “Man his teeth and his breath man that must of been horrible”.

Amy then smiles. “Yeah I don’t think it has the same potassium effect when baked into a sweet treat, but hey everyone needs a sweet treat every once in a while”. Amy takes another sip of her coffee she was enjoying this chance encounter with Sayyid more than she probably should be and when he asks about the rest of her plan she shrugs. “I am not sure, I am done with recording for the moment and don’t really have anything planned and I am not flying back to America until the end of the week, so sightsee maybe who knows, maybe you could show me around or something?”. She says as she throws him a smile. Amy hadn’t spent much time in London but had always wanted to go to the hot spots but with her life usually she didn’t spend more than a day or two in one place.

Kara makes her way to the venue, being a New York native she was fairly comfortable with being able to wander relatively freely, of course she would avoid certain areas but as she arrived the Barclays Arena, she met up with Younghood as he was taking in the newly venue. She noticed he had a couple of people with him, he was a big name in the industry and arriving in a City that you don’t spend most of your time in, it was likely that he would get some attention from the natives. She gave a brief raise of her hand as he spotted her walking over towards him and gave him a quick hug as they greeted each other. They had flown out to New York together from California but went their separate ways, agreeing to meet up later in the day.

“Hey! You get your accommodation sorted?” she says to Nire, giving a warm smile and a head-nod to the people he was with. “Feels good to be back on home turf.” She says, referencing the weekend they had all just spent in the sunshine of California among the music industry elite, she was now back on the east coast where it was definitely a lot colder at this time of year, but it was familiar and comfortable for her.

Kara looked up at him and playfully frowned, “You really bagging on my hometown, right now?” she laughs, “Ain’t nothing change with you, huh?”. She was happy having Nire around her again, it was never difficult or complicated between them. Their relationship was a slightly different one. They hung out, laughed and joked like friends, went to sports games together and were occasionally intimate with each other. No labels, no expectations just living separate lives and reconnecting when time would allow.

“It’s been over a year since I’ve been in the studio. I’ve got that itch.” She says, before continuing, “We work well together and I’m thinking about doing something a little different. I was thinking, maybe we hit the studio together? But not just one song?” she says, looking at him to gauge his interest, “What if we book like three weeks solid and just see how much shit we create together.” she pauses before continuing, “Like really get into it, maybe we get an album out of it, maybe an E.P or something. But I just feel like right now, I could go in and do another solo album and it would be fine. But I think I need to just take a little left turn first, you know?” she asks, still not quite able to figure out his interest just from his facial reaction to the idea.

Kara understood the link that Nire was going for but just couldn’t allow herself to fully be on board with it, “Detroit is cool, I’ve had some great times in Detroit. But it’s not comparable, it’s just not. It’s maybe like New York’s little bro, New York’s slower little bro.” she says with a playful laugh, she fully understand defending and being in love with your hometown. Part of why she connected with Nire so much was the fact that he was just so cool and unburdened by the world that they found themselves in. She didn’t fall into the industry games that a lot of people she was friendly with did, there wasn’t anything strategic about how she did things.

She laughed at his comment, “I totally have. I thought after the album and the tour last year I wouldn’t even think about writing or recording for at least a year and just take some time out but I’m feeling kinda restless like I need to be doing something.” She says, trying to explain it as best as she could. She laughs as he mentions about her dragging him into it and trying to get him infected with the music bug too, “You can sit beside me when the apocalypse comes.” She says before listening to his answer, she smiles a little as he agrees to work with her on some stuff and seems confident that they’ll produce a lot of stuff, “I was thinking an E.P, but shit if we have enough for an album I’m definitely down for that too.” She smiles happily as he suggests that he’ll bring in all kinds of different elements to the studio, “Keeping me on my toes. I like it. Ride em’ till the wheels come off baby.” She says playfully, indicating that she’s open to whatever he brings to the table in their studio sessions.
