Chloe is already on stage, fiddling around with her drums. She is playing queens "we will rock you." The crowd is clapping along and an occasional shoe flies on stage. Erica and nina join Chloe on stage. They enter the stage arm in arm and skipping happily. Nina trips on a cord and the pair of them bust their asses. They roll across the stage, cracking up.erica hops up,rubbing her butt.
" yowch! That hurt so bad. Now my butt has a crack in it!" She giggles into the mic. Chloe makes the appropriate drum sound for a lame joke.

"I'll kiss it and make it better!" A voice yells from the crowd. Erica wags her finger and smirks. " I'm a married woman, now. You perv! That gives me an idea for a song to kick this off with. A one a two a skiddly diddly doo!" She says before turning to nina and Chloe.

Being big Katy perry fans, the harlots kick things off with a cover of "I kissed a girl" . The song adapts well to the harlots' style of music. The crowd of bemohawked and safety pinned punk rockers must have more than a few closet Katy perry fans,as midway through it became a sing along. Erica provided some pretty snazzy dance moves while joined by a dwarf in a large paper mâché head. Later, erica kisses the mask of the dwarf passionately, and proceeds to have him/her simulate oral sex on her..while she keeps singing. The crowd cheers madly as Erica gets back on her feet and the dwarf leaves. A few non harlot fans are appalled by what they just witnessed.

Erica and her dwarf singing " I kissed a girl".

Erica grins and waves to the crowd. " whew! A large head means a long tongue." She giggles and paces the stage for a few seconds. " um...we didn't write a set list. There were piles of pizza rolls back stage. We were high....priorities were thrown to the wind."

" more like a mountain of pizza rolls, love!" Nina pipes up. "Look" she holds up her phone,as if everyone can see the tiny screen. " someone was nice and made them in the oven, instead of a bloody microwave." She sighs longingly. " can I sing the next song?" Nina asks.

" sure,I need a drink anyways." Erica hugs nina as she is handed Nina's battered telecaster. Erica takes a long drink from a bottle of vodka and starts strumming he guitar...poorly.

Nina takes the mic. " oi! You folks doing ok?" She asks, swinging the mic like a lasso. The crowd answers with an almost enthusiastic cheer. " that's how I feel too, loves. This next one is a new song,I wrote it. If you don't like it,go fuck yourself. This is" the David berkowitz school of gun safety",lets go!"

Come one,come all.
We're gonna have a ball.
Hot damn!
Learn to shoot like the son of Sam.

Blam! Blam! Blam!
Boom! boom! boom!
Blam! Boom! Blam!
Uggghhhhhb!

Run the streets and ruin the night.
Discos making a comeback, fill em with fright.
Use a forty four not a forty five.
Can you see the irony in......"staying alive"?

Blam! Blam! Blam!
Boom! boom! boom!
Blam! Boom! Blam!
Uggghhhhhb!

Old Davie got his orders from a dog.
You should say it was a frog.
You kissed him,but no prince.
Just death an pestilence.

Blam! Blam! Blam!
Boom! boom! boom!
Blam! Boom! Blam!
Uggghhhhhb!

We'll give a certificate of that you satisfy .
Just don't mention 4 PI!
If you do,its you who will die!

Nina is a rather good front woman in her own right. She spends the song bouncing from one end of the stage to the other. She pantomimes the shooter and victim during the chorus ,falling on the ground after each "uggghh". She hops to her feet in a very Bruce lee way and is off singing again. She's far more agile than the crowd expects, and they go nuts each time she hops to her feet. Erica's guitar playing turned out to be pretty good. She won't be covering any opeth songs in the near future. but between nina and erica, they inspired a respectable pit.

Nina in her lucky castor drake shirt.

Nina and Erica bow and exchange instruments. " nina sangria, ladies and gentlemen!" Erica squeals to great applause. She kicks a stray beach ball from the stage. " where the fuck do these things come from? Do you bring them In,or is there a merch booth that sells them?" She giggles and stretches. "A ok,cuties. We got one more tune and we're outta here. " Erica claps and jumps up and down excitedly. " this is " Ed McMahon ogled my goodies on star search".

UserPostedImage
Erica singing "Ed McMahon ogled my goodies on star search"...along with an unexplained outfit change.

Its a well known harlots song,so the crowd starts a pit before the first chord is even struck. Being the final song, the girls really give it their all. Chloe ruptures the head of her snare drum,Erica drop kicks an amp and falls on her ass. Nina finishes the set off by taking a power grinder to her guitar, pickups first. The ear melting sound has the crowd wincing in pain. The noise is so bad,two dogs stop mid hunch and give the stage a dirty look. The trio of harlots bow and skip off the stage.

Seconds later, they shuffle back on stage. Erica picks up the remains of a mic. " um...we have just been informed we have more time.so....? Hmmm. " she paces the stage momentarily. " oh! Nina and I can do a wonderful ping pong ball trick!." She says brightly. The crowd answers enthusiastically to this.
Nina giggles and speaks into Erica's mic. " no,love. We don't want to get in trouble.again." Nina kicks the remains of her guitar slightly. The crowd
A starting to tire of the band not doing anything. Erica sits on the end of the stage, swinging her legs. " ok. Well muddle through. ." She starts. Nina picks up a bass and starts plucking a jazzy melody on it,Chloe uses her one usable to drum. Erica swings her shoes off and wiggles her toes. "Ok...this is one of my favorite songs,I'm sure you know the words too. So sing along!" With minimal music, and with her squeaky little voice,Erica sings "somewhere over the rainbow" . The end result is good.very very good actually. As she sings, the crowd says back and forth. A few people hold up lighters. When she finishes,Erica swallows hard and wipes a tear from her eye." Fuck you,it's a touching song!" She giggles as she stands up. " see you folks later!" She giggles and locks arms with nina as they dance off stage.

Nick Palmer @ Aphrodisiac 2013
The day was not yet halfway done, but the crowd was anxiously awaiting the headliners, Teen Titans and Stephanie Fierce. Meanwhile Nick Palmer was waiting to make his appearance at the first festival of the year. His tracks were all prepped, the backing tracks and drum machine were ready as was Nick's four piece live band. Jumping up and down he was pumped. Backstage he began shouting with excitement in a crazed rampage waiting for the stage to be ready for him. Minutes passed and then finally the stage manager cued Nick that his intro was starting. an ambient synth was fading in an out with tremolo blasting. Some loyal Nick Palmer fans began to go nuts but the crowd was mostly just respectfully interested. A beat joined in building with a slight bass background fading in slowly. The beat speeds up as the pitch of the tremolo escalates. Nick enters to a loud cheer from the crowd. "APHRODISIAC" he shouts. "GEt off your fucking feet." He shouts as the bass in the song drops just as Nick begins thrashing around cueing the most enthusiastic fans to do the same. The song begins changing after this into something that is recognizable to some fans as Nick's intro song for the last year, "Welcome to My Show." He begins singing the song loaded with heavy electronics encouraging the crowd to go nuts the whole time.

This isn't pop punk or scene
This is after my new religion
I'm the mad fucking scientist
And I'm the greatest villain
When all the heroes are dead
Yeah they've gone up above
I'll be down here in bed
bed with the girls they love
So welcome to the show
Be warned in your bloodstream
I just want you to know
It's gonna make you scream

So if you dont wake up it is my fault
Let this be your warning its dangerous
drugs, sex, anger, murder and lust

Welcome to the show
Wel-wel-welcome-welcome to my show

This wasnt planned. it's not a sham
This is truly the way it goes
So lock the doors you'll be here forever
My mind is is divine and its judgement day
Blood is in the air
And were were temping chance
But no one will ever care
They're only here to dance
Scream until you bleed
Give into the voices in your head
My attention is all you need
I'll give it to you til you're dead

So lets dream until the nightmares win
When you're always asleep awake is a game
So lets break the rules and forget our names

Welcome to the show
Wel-wel-welcome-welcome to my show

Sell love and put the needle in
Vice is just how we win
I'll tell you where to begin
When you do know its the end
Your life is out of your hands
So drink up and do the demands
Join me in the strange lands
Please come enjoy the show

Welcome to the show
Wel-wel-welcome-welcome to my show

Nick immediately went to the mic as the noise faded. "No one has really heard much from me over the past few months but I have been working on a new album. I'd like to just play a few songs from it now if thats cool with all of you." The crowd cheered acceptingly at the prospect of hearing new material. "Alright. This song you may have heard before. Its called King of the World" At this point the crowd got more excited than they previously had. This was Nick's only hit in recent memory so it was the most known song and even non hardcore fans knew it. The song began as Nick jumped around the stage touching all the fans he could and still jumping about screaming with the energy he still had from getting pumped before his set.

Verse 1]
So lets figure this out
like who the fuck is this guy?
Rap and make nice beats
Smoke a bowl get real high
Then fuck a girl who's real shy
Yeah bitch I know I used to do screamo
Metal breakdowns make it all emo
Placebo. I'm back fuck you
Florida white boys rap too
Eh I know I've done some shit
Do a girl dont even know her
Go til my body ya no funciona
yeah I'm a mad scientist
Makin beats in my meth lab
Noise so good fuckers know that I'm breaking bad

[Chorus]
I'll be king of the world
and ya'll are just my jesters
Or maybe my serfs
'Cuz I'm just the best yeah
I'll be king of the world
And you can take pictures
Follow me around n shit
I'm a real mixer
And I'll be king of the world
Carry me on your shoulders
Gonna have to be strong
My songs'll drop like boulders
When I'm king of the world

[Verse 2]
And fuck everybody who says I gotta go back to rehab
Say it one time for each Chaos Award you dont have
Makin mixtapes with garage band
I'm Steve Jobs and you're fucking Applebees
I'm just sittin chillin in my mustang
pickin up a girl the one im gonna bang
Party til we go home all the way
You think this shit is cray its just my Tuesday
I guess some say I'm just a failure
I should just leave man, fuck it all
Well man I'm just gonna be my own savior
didn't you hear even James Bond let the sky fall
Dont you know how high I got?
Red hot album and a house in LA
So much fame
It's like I won the hunger games

[Chorus]
I'll be king of the world
and ya'll are just my jesters
Or maybe my serfs
'Cuz I'm just the best yeah
I'll be king of the world
And you can take pictures
Follow me around n shit
I'm a real mixer
And I'll be king of the world
Carry me on your shoulders
Gonna have to be strong
My songs'll drop like boulders
When I'm king of the world

[Outro]
Yeah
I'm the king now
Ahh
yup I'm the king

Nick now was getting more and more energized hearing most of the crowd sing along to his song. As this song ended another beat started with a powerful trance synth building up. "I want to see you get off your feet and move the fuck around" said Nick demanding that the crowd get more energized. A whomping bass joined in to the dance beat as Nick began moving about trying to get the crowd to join in. Slowly they were as the area closest to the stage where most of the Nick Palmer fans were was now like an ocean. "YEAHHH" screamed Nick as the song got more intense. "I want to see some fucking crowdsurfers. Get up ontop of this crowd now!" Nick waited to see that his commands were followed. The song built again getting faster and faster. "Now when this bass drops all the way to the back of the fucking crowd I want to see everyone go nuts. GO" THe song went into a breakdown with the bass as Nick had promised and the crowd mostly followed Nick's commands. Nick too was thrashing his body around stage throbbing with the bass. Slowly it faded into an ambient sound and then into another beat as the next song with lyrics began.

break through my mind like you're my new fucking club drug
Take in the ass til I'm done and I walk out
Honey I love you this is the real shit
Sex tape, dailymotion make you my real bitch
Haters gonna scream like I'm some eminem knockoff
He's a pissed off stoner I'm your dream. Oops alarms off
All alarms calling to the nine one one
Call the cops shut me down cuz I'm hella fun
Meet me after school and we can get risky
Because I'm dropping a new chorus smooth like whiskey

This isn't what I came for
Girls love me but I want more
I'll be the one you never had before
So come fuck me while I find a better whore
But its just to fill time
Kill another line with another rhyme
tequila with a spice of lime
Steal your heart its my crime

So come on and speak to my mouth you know I'm listening
Get down on your knees bend over for me
I can tell you what the end of the world looks like
I'll hold you tight make it all, maker it all right
So look again another crack addict rapper
hes a clown a liar a god damn mad hatter
Maybe I could be more than all this bullshit
Take another shot or take an even better hit
I will be the best second coming
Give me the president and I'm not even running
Girls want a piece make me fly make me real high
I mess around with dudes even though I'm a straight guy
Most days I dont know where the fuck I am
But I'm shootin out new tracks bam bam bam
I take to the streets wear a grand disguise
There's a god in the room when you look in my eyes
So unpredictable I double every second verse
Skill like this is a gift and a curse
I'm the best in the world when I'm in hittin it
Arrogant conceited but I'm gonna follow this
bestfriends turn around til I'm alone again
but god is lonely when hes the only one holy

This isn't what I came for
Girls love me but I want more
I'll be the one you never had before
So come fuck me while I find a better whore
But its just to fill time
Kill another line with another rhyme
tequila with a spice of lime
Steal your heart its my crime

Oh so I'm back three times the charm
I'm up above your head I'm building your arms
Offensive what to I give a fuck
They said I'm dead but I never give up
Another cliche rap redemption story
I'm back this time only less boring
Buy this album you hear me so you already did
Skip sophomore I'm graduating fuck you, kid

As the song ended Nick got a drink of water before coming back to the mic. "Over a year ago now I released an album called THe Mad Scientist" the crowd didnt let him finish as they began cheering wildly for what had been a cult crunk album. "Thank you. Thank you. I dont have much time left. I can only play two more songs, but I'm going to play them from that. These are two of my favorite songs and please sing along if you know the words. This one is called New Religion." Nick stayed at the mic singing with it on the stand for most of the passionate song cueing the crowd to sing and mysteriously still thrashing his body around in the emotion of the battle cry from his first album.

Breathe, sleep, fuck, repeat
But dont forget to eat
Smokes, booze, repeat again
To find a new zen
I say dont ever run away
Drink up you'll need it tonight
Yeah make sure your friends are ok
They'll need it for the coming fight
(The coming fight)

End the enemy
Find serenity
This is the new religion
And god knows whose religion?
Be uncontrollable
Not so gullible
This is the new religion
And god knows whose religion?

Dream big, then go to sleep
Wake up try to make the leap
Were all fucked you know
Like life's just one big show
I say dont ever run away
Drink up you'll need it tonight
Yeah make sure your friends are ok
They'll need it for the coming fight
(The coming fight)

End the enemy
Find serenity
This is the new religion
And god knows whose religion?
Be uncontrollable
Not so gullible
This is the new religion
And god knows whose religion?

End the enemy
Find serenity
This is the new religion
And god knows whose religion?
Be uncontrollable
Not so gullible
This is the new religion
And god knows whose religion?

As the song ended the crowd was restless waiting to see what the last song would be. Nick had his drummer play a beat continuously just to tease them. "Alright Aphrodisiac" hew said. A synth background began building as he said this. "It's been fun but I've got to go. I'll see you all again soon. This song is called Breakout!" the crowd began cheering as Nick picked up a guitar. The noise that had been building suddenly broke and the intro to Nick's most well known song began.

UserPostedImage

I used to be part of the in crowd
Now I break hotel windows and start fights
Yeah, start looking at me like I'm too loud
Like I'll never be more than a highschool dropout

Now no more amnesia, no more stars
Just synth, drums, bass and guitars
No more hiding what we think
And no more drinking when we cant

but I just had to breakout
From the law school noose that's been tied for me
Like we ever tried to be a family?
You know you're no better
You know you're no better
You know you're no better than me

Say to dream big don't end up in the mud
but is it my dream wen it's all said and done?
Village fools who die alone on a boat
Are just like booze cruise kids who die of drug overdose

Just the kids lived fast and the fool had a dream
So don't look at me like my life is done
Like my achievements are none
Or like I'm not your son!

So I just had to breakout
From the law school noose that's been tied for me
Like we ever tried to be a family?
You know you're no better
You know you're no better
You know you're no better than me

You're no better than me!

So I just had to breakout
From the law school noose that's been tied for me
Like we ever tried to be a family?
You know you're no better
You know you're no better
You know you're no better than me

"Thank you! Keep your eyes and ears open for my new album coming this year! See you all later" Nick left and the noise slowly faded out...

Setlist
1. Welcome To My Show
2. King of the World
3. What I Came For
4. New Religion
5. Breakout

ACTS OF HATE LIVE APHRODISIAC 2013

This is it.
Metalheads from across the country have congregated here to see Acts of Hate, Canada's newest metal sensation, performing live for the first time in 2013. Smoke fills the stage as the crowd repeatedly chants for the band. Neil, the drummer, strolls on stage to applause and takes a seat at his drum kit. After a few seconds, he begins to play the slow, ominous drum intro to "Cataclysm," the first single from the bands 2012 debut album "Unholy Creation." The crowd screams in approval as the rest of the band emerges, playing the slow, ominous riffs.

UserPostedImage

The rest of the band stops as Tony plays slow chords, the crowd screaming in approval. Finally, vocalist Sam walks onto the stage, mic in hand, and the band launches back into the song as he screams the lyrics,

UserPostedImage

The earth slowly rots into a malignant tumor,
Breeding no life for the future of the world
In wake of a nuclear war bodies rise from the fractured and decomposing fields of abandonment.
Their bodies and faces mutated and disfigured,
Still breathing through their brimful lungs
They limp and crawl across the ruins they once claimed on a leisurely ongoing march.
Their flesh still burns, the skin blackens
And embers into the dimming air.

As the song reaches it's thunderous climax, the band jumps immediately into "Godless Skies," headbanging furiously.

UserPostedImage

I'm waiting in the darkness,
Her blood will soon be mine,
She took this life for granted,
Her body they wont find.

I'll show her evil that she never knew existed.
She starts to pray as she is being mutilated.

Killing for pleasure,
My need for blood will not stop.
I live for your death,
For your pain I am insane.

I will not stop,
Until your dead and buried,
Dismembered and nameless,
They will never find me.

Pray to your god that's nowhere,
By my hand you will die

Pray to your god that's nowhere,
My blood as you will die,
I torture and kill
Under godless skies

I disfigure her body,
Lying in her grave,
I see only death,
I feel no pain.

Pray to the god that you think is above,
The one who will save you and show you his love.
Now you are mine and will not be saved,
Dismembered and rotten, fucked in your grave

Pray to the god that you think is above,
The one who will save you and show you his love.
No you are mine and will not be saved,
Dismembered and rotten, fucked in your grave

Killing for pleasure,
My need for blood will not stop.
I live for your death,
For your pain I am insane.

I will not stop,
Until your dead and buried,
Dismembered and nameless,
They will never find me.

Under godless skies
We lie under godless skies

The song ends abruptly and Sam takes a minute to adress the crowd.

Aphrofuckingdisiac! How are you! I want you all to sing along to this song. It's called..."AMOURTEM!"

Tony and Rob begin playing the slow, mournful notes to the song as the crowd starts moshing

The vocal parts sung by Nichole, Sam's wife, are omitted from the live version.

in the dark walls of the charnel
my obsession with her begins to overflow
as i consume, i savour the decay
caress her corpse, a celibate death i took away

this is my salvation
no gods, no mediation
this is my redemption
drowning in my contempt, and

i return to myself as i taste her skin
take the handle of the blade, push it deeper in
stretch the wound, penetrate to soothe my sin
my lust for her will never stop
i return to myself as i taste her skin
feeling the grip of her innards, pushing deeper in
stretch the wound, penetrated so deep within
my lust for her will never stop

in the dark walls of the mortuary
my obsession with her will overflow
as i exhumed, i tasted her decay
i touch her form, a celibate death i take away

this is my coldness that you feel
pressing against your face my dear
my presence is not within you
but your corpse is delicate to me

within the dark walls of the charnel
my obsession with her will overflow
and i exhume, effluvium decayed
caress her skin, so paper like it flakes away

within my dark walls

The song's gloomy, slow ending segues perfectly into the band's next song, "Sentend to Hang," an AoH classic that hasn't been played since their pre-unholy creation touring.

Goodbye, I'll mend your loss.
Let the carcass of your martyr burn, in the process of punishment
Your ashes and embers will light up the skies.
Let the carcass of your martyr burn, in the process of...
You only have yourself to blame.
Take my hands, you'll be burned before their eyes.
You'll be burned before their eyes.

What more does it take to see your death?
How much must be done to see you choke?
What more does it take to...
Suspended by the throat, the knot chokes tight
Suspended by the throat, the knot chokes tight
Suspended by the throat, the knot chokes tight

What more does it take to see your death?
How much must be done to see you choke?
Let the carcass of the martyr burn, in the process of punishment

Sentenced to hang, the knot chokes tight
Sentenced to hang, the knot chokes tight
Suspended, the knot chokes tight
Sentenced to hang, the not chokes tight
In the process of punishment

The crowd applauds wildly after the song ends, and Sam once again adresses the crowd.

Aphrodisiac, do you want to hear a love song?

The crowd responds wildly, and Sam just laughs.

This is a song for that one person in your life...the one person who helps you through everything. The person who will always be there for you...Jesus Christ.

The crowd boos violently.

I'm kidding! Kidding! This song is for Nichole Fischer and it's called Not Alone.

UserPostedImage

Tony and Rob begin playing the song's agressive guitar riff and Sam screams along, utilizing a high shriek instead of his signature low growl,

Every word, exactly what I need.
horrible truths erased
quiet whispers spin me in perfection
where nothing can be wrong.
her body shudders in ecstasy as I caress her flesh.
The sound of her breathing hypnotizes me soothing me into a deeper state of bliss.
Everything that escapes her lips is exactly what I need to hear.
She says I'm perfect, I'm beautiful, smart, so pure.
Every word contradicts my thoughts.
The voice inside me escapes
Maybe she just knew what to say
To dissolve all of my pain
Being with her is everything
I love her - she makes me love me.
I'm not alone
We're not alone

The song ends and the crowd cheers loudly, awaiting the next number,

UserPostedImage

Surprisingly, both Tony and Rob get out acoustic guitars, and begin to play a haunting instrumental song entitled "Bone Church." The crowd cheers in approval as the song goes on, really showcasing the guitarists musical prowess as they pull of flamenco style licks. The song ends, and Jeff begins playing a slow bassline.

UserPostedImage

Suddenly, the rest of the band jumps in, playing another new song entitled "Reduced to Dust," as Sam screams along, his vocals high and raspy,

proselytism
exalted through anathema
a bastard king shall rise
the deity defied
shall prove a source of anti-life

his numbers swell, marvel at the sight
apostasy achieved overnight
swarms of protesting masses
vehemently apposed to sunday mass

call forth the angel of destruction
in his right hand a sword of thorns
in his left, a slaughtered lamb
it bleeds upon the altar, forevermore

UserPostedImage
Tony plays a short but extremely technical solo, and the crowd cheers on.

cain rose up
and his brother abel he did slay
we grew from his rotting corpse
festering towards the light of day

call down a plague upon the land
ravaged by a swarm of locusts
the pope is sentenced to death
burnt upon a cross, inverted

they don't remember when we starved ourselves to death
they don't remember the threat of war within a breath
a secular world of kratocracy, complete demise of plutocracy
the spoils of the vatican defiled, burnt to the ground

a virus of critical thinking overtakes the land
our new lord is hailed as demagogue and hierophant
he embarks to scorch the earth, with his hand aflame
the entire religious populace of the world
reduced to dust and ashes

The song ends, and the stage lights darken as the crowd begs for more. Slowly, ominous keyboard notes are played over the PA as Tony begins soloing proficiently, tackling sweeps, arpeggios and two handed tapping with ease. The band joins in, playing a very technical, new instrumental titled "Deux." It segues perfectly into their last song of the night, "Behemoth Rising," yet another new song. The song is slower, more showcasing the band member's talents than their brutality, and their is a long dual solo from both guitarists in the song's lengthy intro.

UserPostedImage

Sam looks at the crowd, grinning at the sight.

Get the fuck up! This is the last song!

forever moving
restlessly demolishing
whole city blocks crushed in it's wake
it gnashes it's teeth of gold
it vomits bits of silver
it's creator scoffs
and ashes it's cigar on the face of humanity
it's hull is golden
encrusted with diamonds
as it prepares to steamroll the earth
forever moving, forever destroying
cigarette butts and jellied fire fly from it's mouth
like scalding spittle
so many crushed underneath it's weight
the pressure of monetary gain
overwhelms this country

The band is completely on time with this song, sounding tight and polished as they pull off the technical licks and riffs. Jeff even takes a short bass solo. Sam's vocals are powerful as he screams along with the rest of the band,

UserPostedImage

UserPostedImage

if genocide is good for the economy
than the unthinking majority will be for it
if genocide is bad for the economy
than the unthinking majority will be against it
we're slaves
we're shackled in chains
free your mind from the convention
that financial gain
is justifiable cause for causing pain

so shut your mouth
spit out all that corporate cum
because you're making money
doesn't mean you're not a slut
so shut your mouth
you're no stranger to the taste of cum
you swallowed it all to get to the top

The song comes to a thunderous end and the band begins to tear the stage apart, throwing their instruments and knocking over the drum kit. Sam walks off stage and returns with a bunch of Suzie CD's, which he throws out the crowd, laughing. The crowd obligingly begin to tear the CD's apart, smashing them on each other. Sam grabs the mic one last time,

Thank you, goodnight,

he says, and he bows with the rest of the band before walking offstage.

Julia is getting ready to hit the stage, she's warming her vocals at her dressing room arranged in the crew area of the festival, she can hear the screams if the crowd out there for each band that already played, she starts to feel nauseous and nervous.
But it's almost time for her to hit the stage, so she left her dressing room and she position herself outside in the back of the stage, she tries to relax her nerves, but the anticipation has taken all over her body!

JULIA VOLKOVA

Set List

1- The Bite (Extended Intro)
2- Tonight I gave Up
3- Looking for you
4- Excuses
5- Sweet Decline

People were screaming Julia’s name at the audience, it was already time for her to take over the stage. An industrial electronic beat is being played as an introduction for her performance, it comes in crescendo, just to raise the audience excitement and as that beat goes on, the band members starts to take the stage, they’re welcomed with screams and claps and so much love from people at the crowd. First comes the drummer who immediately starts to play a sequence followed by the guitar player and the bassist and the DJ, together they starts to play the first melodies of Julia’s hit ‘The Bite’, this melody is only the introduction part of the song, and it’s kind of long so Julia could finally appear, holding a micro.
The crowd goes insane, Julia is wearing long high heels boots, a Metallica shirt and really tiny shorts and she’s also with sunglasses, due to the beautiful sunny afternoon. She arrives behind her pedestal where she places her micro and starts to sing the first lines of the song. The crowd recognized the song instead, Julia could perceive it and sometimes the crowd sounded louder than her, that whole thing was making she smiles. There’s not much movements from Julia in this first performance, she keeps standing behind her pedestal, she keeps a perfect tone to her voice, she sometimes head bangs and take some steps backwards the edge of the stage but immediately return to her previous position to go on with the song. The song ended and Julia kept a couple of second looking at the crowd and smiling to them, they were screaming her name loud.

“What a wonderful afternoon Aphrodisiac!” - she sounded puffy. “You look so beautiful out there, it’s a really really really beautiful view.” – She took her glasses off. “I really want to know, where are my vampires?” – Vampires is how Julia is frequently calling her fans. “There are many of you there I see, it’s amazing, thank you so much for coming. I want you guys to have fun this afternoon, and please, dance, scream, call me motherfucker if you enjoy it.” She smiles again sarcastically.

‘Tonight I Gave Up’ is the next song, it starts with its particular guitar riffs and heavy drums, now Julia takes the micro off the pedestal and she starts to walk around the stage, while she head bangs, jump and interact with the crowd by squatting near the edge of the stage to touché her devoted fans hands. She loses herself in this performance, she didn’t care about her voice right now, she only cares about energy and fast moving, but she handle the notes pretty well despite the fact that she gets tired and breathy.
The bridge of the song is a slowdown moment, Julia calms herself and with her hair over her eyes she sings it, but in the moment where she was about to sing the line ‘Tonight I gave Up’ she points her micro to the crowd and they scream the phrase for her, that just drives Julia insane, it’s like she had a connection with that crowd they were so participated and involved, she was enjoying every second of that performance. The song reaches sits final melodies breakdown and after its end, Julia introduces her band members.

“I wanna introduce you the boys at the stage, in the drums, Mister Roland!” – He plays a short fast sequence of drums. “In the guitars, Anderson Alves” – Another stop. “In the bass, Carlos Oliveira and finally but not least, in the turntable Mister Albert Agness” – She than goes back to the center of the stage. “And I’m Julia, nice to meet you.” – She jokes with the crowd. “Our next song, is one of my favorites from my new album and I really how it’s one of your favorites too. It’s called Looking For You”

A slow tempo guitar riff accompanies Julia’s husky and sexy vocals in the begging of the song, this song is almost a ballad if it weren’t for its heavy chorus and post grunge influence. What Julia wasn’t expecting, happened, the crowd knew the lyrics, and that made she feel so warmed and welcomed. She don’t take risks in this performance, she remains standing behind her usual pedestal, she doesn’t move fast, she controls her voice but she has some struggle in the highest notes of it, she almost loses her breath, but she handle it.
Posters and shirts and flags are raised in the crowd for Julia, it’s a beautiful homage from her fans, what an artists could ask for if the love of people who enjoys them, that was a very beautiful moment, the song is really impressive and it has this up and down melodies which drives everyone to feel the lines Julia was singing. In the bridge of the song, Julia almost sung without melodies except the guitar. That was the best part of the entire performance, Julia and her fans singing the song loud and clear. The violins of this song are played electronically, in fact all the other instrumentations and even the backing vocals are being played by the DJ. Julia always works in a lot of aspects of her sound, so that would be a little weird not to have those elements in her songs.

“You guys are a beautiful choir, thank you so much!” – Julia says it really emotional. “Are you guys having fun so far?” – Julia waits for the crowd screams. “UHU, ok so now I have a very special song for you, it’s an old one, I’m sure you all know it, so I’m gonna sit down and try to get you all in the mood.” – Julia sits in a chair while her guitar player comes to join her sitting beside her.

Obviously it’s ‘Excuses’, Julia’s signature song, In all intimate mood, Julia is sit in a chair beside her guitar player which of course, he’s playing an acoustic guitar, it pretty much could look like an MTV Unplugged performance, and maybe that’s the goal. The song is loudly sung by the crowd, it’s a very popular song though, they weren’t only Julia fans singing, there were people that actually don’t look like Julia’s vampires.
Julia has an incredible control over this song, maybe after her last tour she had to play this song over and over, she gained some skills and now it looks like an easy song to execute for her, she encourages the audience to raise and wave their arms following the folk inspired melodies of the song, in fact Julia didn’t change the sound of the song, it has still all the elements the original song has, except some vocalizing she adds in the bridge. The performance ended with claps from the crowd.

“My dears, you were today! I only have love for you and I know you only have love for me too, I’m so bless to be able to play for you this afternoon. This is my last song and after me, Fucking Reported Failure will take the stage! Isn’t that wonderful? Vin Peters, the one who helped to create this new album is about to play in the same stage I played, it’s an honor! So this is my very first single, and I want to hear all of you singing along with me!” – Julia talks for one last time with the crowd, it’s the end of her concert.

The final song of the afternoon, the hyped ‘Sweet Decline’, the song that was responsible to launch Julia as a soloist and manage to make her debut record sell over 10 million copies, and incredible mark for a beginner. The crowd recognize the song by the time the piano riffs starts to be played, Julia is not sit anymore and all her band members are already on their regular places, Julia is holding her micro and she’s stopped at the center of the stage, where she starts singing the first lines of the song.
As the song goes growing to its climax, Julia goes moving faster and faster and had banging too, interacting with the crowd and keeping her vocals really high and husky. It’s a memorable performance, after one year touring, Julia had dominated the skills to control her voice while she moves fast and even to improvise on her own songs, to make them sound more natural then robotic. The night is falling and so in this final performance the lights of the stage increase the scenario of it, Julia dominated the stage in this performance.
The singing has stopped but the melodies keep being played, Julia goes from a corner of the stage to the other corner of the stage where she sends kisses to her fans and expresses her feeling through gestures of thanks. She left the stage and her band kept playing the song a little more, till they stop with a fast drum sequence finishing the concert.

The lights go up and down as a beat begins to play. The crowd is cheering but when the beat turns into 'Banb Bang Bang' intro, the cheers get louder and the Teen Titans appear standing quite far from each other in their superheroes poses.
At the end of the intro, a shotgun is heard and the first verse begins with the Titans singing while slightly dancing to the beat.
The song goes then instrumental and each Titan gets closer to each other for the chorus, which is sung and performed with an exciting interaction with the crowd.
The chorus then ends but the Titans keep the excitement going during the next verse and chorus.
Then everything suddenly stops on the stage, even the music, which plays again after a few seconds and the Teen Titans begin an hard and well synchronized dance routine.
The crowd cheers loudly and the five keep dancing until another gunshot is heard and they all stop moving while Laurence sings the bridge.
As the new chorus starts, they all dance again until the end of the song.

BANG BANG BANG
I don't know your name
With you I feel no shame

I like it, baby
You make me go insane
Stop playing this game

I like it, baby
You're so amazing
The heat is increasing

I like it, baby

I wanna shoot you, shoot you
Bang Bang Bang
With my love, my love
Bang Bang Bang
Shoot you, shoot you
Bang Bang Bang
With my love, my love
Bang Bang Bang
Shoot you down
Bang Bang Bang
With my love gun
Bang Bang Bang

Is this for real
This way you make me feel

I like it, baby
I can't play it slow
I won't let you go

I like it, baby
You don't need to fight
We'll be alright

I like it, baby

I wanna shoot you, shoot you
Bang Bang Bang
With my love, my love
Bang Bang Bang
Shoot you, shoot you
Bang Bang Bang
With my love, my love
Bang Bang Bang
Shoot you down
Bang Bang Bang
With my love gun
Bang Bang Bang

I wanna shoot you, shoot you
With my love, my love
I wanna shoot you down
With my love gun
I wanna shoot you, shoot you
With my love, my love
I wanna shoot you down
With my love gun
Yeah

I wanna shoot you, shoot you
Bang Bang Bang
With my love, my love
Bang Bang Bang
Shoot you, shoot you
Bang Bang Bang
With my love, my love
Bang Bang Bang
Shoot you down
Bang Bang Bang
With my love gun
Bang Bang Bang

I wanna shoot you, shoot you
Bang Bang Bang
With my love, my love
Bang Bang Bang
Shoot you, shoot you
Bang Bang Bang
With my love, my love
Bang Bang Bang
Shoot you down
Bang Bang Bang
With my love gun
Bang Bang Bang

The crowd is screaming again and the Teen Titans all gather in the middle of the stage and some white smoke appears as the intro of 'Where Is The Love?' is heard.
So an excited and smiley Martina begins to sing the first verse, while some of the others are interacting with the crowd waving and smiling.
Then the Titans look up in the sky during Laurence's pre-chorus, sung perfectly in time with the beat.
The crowd only goes crazy once the chorus starts though as Tanya and Den sing giving their best effort and when they finish they look at each other smiling, while Martina continues with her new verse.
Then after another pre-chorus sung by Laurence and another chorus sung by Tanya and Den, the lights begin to slowly move in all the ways, making a beautiful visual effect for the bridge, which also contains the rap sung by Joey after the instrumental.
Straight after the rap, another chorus comes, but this time Martina Joey and Laurence make the backing vocals for Den and make the last chorus become the most intense as Tanya also begins to hit even longer and higher notes.
Then as the last chorus ends too, the Titans all stand still looking at the crowd, while the lights make another cool visual effect during the whole instrumental ending of the song.

WHERE IS THE LOVE?
Hello
I've been waiting for you
For so much time
That I lost my hopes
I am changed
I feel like
I don't want you anymore

But you don't know
Don't know
You just don't know
Don't know
Yeah you don't know
Don't know

Where is the love
Where is all I need
Where is my soul
Where is the other half of me
Where is the love
Where is all I need
Where is my soul
Where is the other half of me

And so
I can't believe it's you
Too perfect to be you
I feel blind
I feel like
I'm in another illusion

But you don't know
Don't know
You just don't know
Don't know
Yeah you don't know
Don't know

Where is the love
Where is all I need
Where is my soul
Where is the other half of me
Where is the love
Where is all I need
Where is my soul
Where is the other half of me

Where is the love, where is my soul
The answer still I don't know
'Cause I know, I know you are not
What I'm looking for
All I need is more
All I need is love

Where is the love
Where is all I need
Where is my soul
Where is the other half of me
Where is the love
Where is all I need
Where is my soul

Where is the other half of me

The crowd screams and cheers once again and another beat starts as a huge radar appears on the big screen behind the Titans, who all dance to the intro of 'Turn The Radar On', interacting with the crowd. While having fun on stage, Den and Laurence sing the first two verses, followed by a build-up to the chorus which makes almost everyone in the crowd dance with the Titans.
The most exciting part comes with the chorus as the Titans begin to follow an easy but cool dance routine and get a lot of people to scream and cheer.
At the end of the chorus, Joey and Tanya keep the crowd dancing as they almost scream excited their verses and after another build-up of fun, the Titans sing the new chorus following the same dance routine as before.
Then the beat and the general excitement apparently decreases as Martina sings the slowlier bridge, which she ends hitting an high note with her pleasant smooth and sweet voice, surprising a lot of people and building up all the hype again in two seconds.
So they all eventually sing the chorus twice again, repeating the dance routine and when the song ends, the crowd screams and cheers. The Titans wave and smile, eventually disappearing from the stage as they are taken down by a platform.

TURN THE RADAR ON
When we're near, we have no fear
If you're here, if I'm here
It gets all clear
Even in the dark, when we make the spark

Sending you a transmission from my heart
This is how a true love can start
But make sure you get this
Before you get a kiss

If tonight
You don't wanna be alone
Turn the radar on
Kill the lights, free your soul
And if you miss me when I'll be gone
Just turn the radar on

In love with danger
In love with a stranger
I like this feeling
How my heart is beating

Be wise, look at my eyes
You can see it all
All you need to do is call
Before this feeling may fall

If tonight
You don't wanna be alone
Turn the radar on
Kill the lights, free your soul
And if you miss me when I'll be gone
Just turn the radar on

I already got you in my imagination
Will you live up to my expectation
And stay here, with me
Where you need to be

If tonight
You don't wanna be alone
Turn the radar on
Kill the lights, free your soul
And if you miss me when I'll be gone
Just turn the radar on

If tonight
You don't wanna be alone
Turn the radar on
Kill the lights, free your soul
And if you miss me when I'll be gone
Just turn the radar on

Reported Failure @ Aphrodisiac 2013
The stage is black. The crowd is full. The night is silent. Silent but for a slow, growing chant. Steadily encompassing all of the night beating and building and flowing making its way into the hearts and heads of everyone around two syllables, two letters, and the undying devotion that fans have to a band. "RF, RF, RF" came from the lungs and the throat and the diaphragm of ever man woman and child at Aphrodisiac on March twenty second twenty-thirteen. Chanting louder and louder until it was just part of the landscape; just like the mountains, the crickets, the moon, the stars, and the stage.

Backstage a sobering silence was coming over Reported Failure. With all the triumph and trials of their past leading up to a moment, a single night suspended in time, a night for nothing but them, their fans, their music, and their lives on a stage exposed for the world to see. Dressed plainly in an assortment of hoodies and plain shirts the band stood in a state of awe at the landscape of the night. With such a fervent mood and reflective mindset the band wasn't jumping around to get pumped. That was something that fresh, young artists had to do. Tired and withered, Reported Failure has been around the festival scene before and had seen hell and hallelujah along the way. In their young days just saying anything would be enough, but on this night they had one mission and one specific thing to say. Their mood was not that of a child getting ready for something new but of a seasoned veteran determined to accomplish everything they've dreamed of.

The one moment that anyone in the band seems to be smiles and games is just as the intro begins. A piano soaring and flowing, stinging with a sharp drum. The chants change to a mighty roar, a lion awaiting a gazelle to jump into its view, awaiting a feast. A voice comes calmly, deeply, searing the very depths of every heart in the crowd and the stage: "The human race is two-hundred-thousand years old. And it's all been building to this". Lights flash. Drums slam. Reported Failure take the stage with a confidence, a callous determination to put on a show for the fans and for themselves. Billie Beckett reaches for the microphone as the rest of the band begin playing a heavy, dense progression scheming and sliding around, pouring their soles into a song. Billie picks up his guitar and strums the sweet, resonating instrument joining the heavy progression in striking contrast.

Cymbals crash. Guitars soar. Bass thumps. Billie screams. Just as suddenly as the madness and mayhem had begun, it ceased; replaced by the daunting keyboard introduction to "Days Spent in the Dark". Billie caught his breath and grabbed the mic: "Aphrodisiac!" the crowd screamed in appreciation. "We are ready! We are here! We are Reported Failure. And this is days Spent in the dark." The drums attacked the song thudding and slamming into the battle of the song joined by the guitars and finally Billie's haunting vocals ebbing and echoing as far as the eye could see; defying all laws of physics; seeming to last forever in a single note and moment.

"Drink with the moon
And go around the outside
Til adrenaline kicks in
So swing from the dark trees
So go drown in the forest

Sing like you could back before
Before you screamed yourself hoarse
And days blurred to lifetimes
Were on our deathbed
So the clouds become therapy
and were addicted to the sadness
We can speak again
Were here to speak again

So we took these words and locked them in a temple
So we trapped our souls from freedom from anger
It was cold and silent
It was another day spent in the dark
we took our hearts and made them less painful
We took our scars covered them with makeup
But we weren't free; we were trapped by a facade
By our days spent in the dark

Take me to an ambulance my life doesn't work
Find me a coffin and a place to be born
I need a love and a life to restore
I wish I could fly like a bird overhead
And be innocent like a child who can say anything
So I would speak and then fly away
I want to speak again
I want to seize the day
I shall speak again
Seize the day

So we took these words and locked them in a temple
So we trapped our souls from freedom from anger
It was cold and silent
It was another day spent in the dark
we took our hearts and made them less painful
We took our scars covered them with makeup
But we weren't free; we were trapped by a facade
By our days spent in the dark

I take it all take it all back
Give me home or give me heart attack
Speak speak let me speak once more
Tell me there's no more hell in store
And cry cry cry my eyes out
I want to speak I have no doubt
Life life unlock my life
Or cut my wrists end it with a knife"

With passion Billie declares that it is time to seize the day gesturing to the crowd to copy as the song breaks and an eerie silence comes over Aphrodisiac except for the everlasting sound of Billie singing with the fans. The keys fade out in the applause joined soon by a tantalizing harmonic sound from Vin cueing the beginning of the next song, Lunar Utero. The crushing bass is met with a huge roar of approval as Billie softly sings with his face, body, and entire persona selling the emotion and deathly heartbreak and regret of Reported Failure's most recent single. Out in the audience a mosh pit breaks out as soon as Reported Failure hits the chorus pledging their entire being to the perilous depths of a punk song.

"Breakdown the solemn walls I hold
Release the anguished world I sold
Step out of the rancid door inside
Take time to flaunt and change the tide
So I watch earth build epic monuments
With envy I wash it away at their expense
Pulled out with love I'll make my home
But im old cold and alone

I'll fall asleep in my bed
Wake up a new brand new man instead
I'll try this til I quit
til blood leaves my brain
You know I'd try a thousand times
So just keep me warm inside
Mother could you take me back
Hold my head to your breast til I'm not upset

So hold me. I'm a broken lock and you're the broken key
But fix me. Because I'm without alarm
Break the door. Salvage me. I'll be your charm

I left this world behind but now I just want to stay
So fix me up and make me another way
I didn't want to leave but I want to feel good
So salvage me and glue me like you should

Take this beaten heart
And make it more like the moon
So I can control my own life
So I can see my own sky
Make it bright and round
Let me build on my own ground
And control my seas
Let it be the light guiding me

I'll easily crawl back inside
if you try what I have in mind
Take me back to warm tunnels
Change my father before I'm old
Mother please if you could
Make my body how you should

I'm sorry if I've been a burden to you love
I've no excuse I know I've made eough... but

I left this world behind but now I just want to stay
So fix me up and make me another way
I didn't want to leave but I want to feel good
So salvage me and glue me like you should"

In the silence that followed the end of the song Billie checked his mic and began to speak: "We've been working hard on a new album which includes those first two songs but we're going to play a couple more from it tonight. We've been all over the world and had our lives flipped upside down in the past couple of years. A lot has happened. we'd like to play this song with that in mind." As Billie Speaks a large screen comes on behind him as moving shots of mountains and starry nights flow across it over a live feed in the background of Billie speaking. "This song is about these changes and suffering in order to go through and get better. It's called Frosted Peaks." Immediately Vin begins strumming on a couple of strings in a crunchy sound as Billie sings softly over it. Matt harmonizes with Billie creating a foundation for something, something beautiful and immense to be built ontop of it. This very thing happens as Robert Edwards hammers his drums as the song breaks and Billie's overdriven guitar kicks in.
"The snow will fall
And we'll lay in it
we'll say we'll lay
But we're lying all the same
I'll wait for you
Let us grow old together
Lay in the cold
And we'll be lying together

One day we'll be friends in the sky
we'll see our lives fly on by
We'll count all the sounds and smells
And we'll sing ourselves hoarse

(We'll be lying we'll be lying
We'll be lying we'll be lying)

but there's a frosted peak
On the path up ahead
But back down here we've got so many friends
We'll take all we can
and there's a chill outside
As we fight off the wind
I want to be frozen but still to feel you again
Before I go away
Freeze away to oblivion

There's a man in a coat
Greeting us at hell
There's too much winter
Today I'm falling apart
It's the worst night ever
When you left me alone
Hold me forever
Answer your fucking phone
I'm desperate and hopeless
But I love you
So hold me in the cold
You can reach the peaks too
We'll be oblivion

So we finally climb
With this child we've made
Maybe we'll make it alive
Maybe we climb to our graves
But I'm ready for you
If you're ready for me
There's a frosted peak below our family
You can leave if you want
But I love you so
So lets die if we must but not alone
I love you so
So kick off out clothes
Die together in the frosted peaks of our home"

THe song flows and Billie thrashes himself around in passion, screaming and pleading. Finally falling to the ground strumming his guitar in a fervent panic dashing and sliding in a personal act of desperation made public in the form of art and song. Just getting up he sings the last verse with all the energy and pain showing through his skin and voice as any artist could ever muster in all their years of triumph and tribulation. The audience is shocked. THe didn't expect something so dark and personal to be shown to them. They didn't expect Billie Beckett in this way. But they applauded, screaming for the band they had grown to love. And thus what was the first act of Reported Failure's set was complete. Acknowledging this, Matt Collins approached his mic; "I suppose its time to change the mood a bit... I'm Matt by the way." The crowd applauded and laughed. "THats right ladies, Matt Collins." he continued. "But please hold on to your brazziers. Blood of Wecz is up next and I heard Scott isn't satisfied unless he gets twenty per night." The crowd laughed a bit more. "I guess I should stop talking before I start a feud or something. This song is called My Name is William." At this the crowd roared in excitement for one of Reported Failure's biggest fan favorites. The backdrop of mountains and stars was replaced by an odd blue pattern slowly spinning as the violins began and with confidence and swagger Billie began singing the band's hit from Autumn 2011.

"Pen, paper, words, feelings
All get lost in between life and fiction
Rooftops and minimum wages
Lost families and disfunctional relationships
They all get lost
In my pen my paper
Until I don't recognize ohh anything.
It's all just morning coffee
Marble Pillars
Smoke and mirrors

Noooo
I wish I never set sail
Hey!
I should've stayed in Greece
Now
I'll just be stained on the cars below
Unwanted again

Hate, culture, waste, breeding
All have blurred the line between real and fake
Unwanted fathers and unwilling mothers
Lost causes, and forgotten sons
They are all I see
Through my worn eyes
I'm falling fast
All I see are sad memories
Painful lies
Hatred skies

Noooo
I wish I never set sail
Hey!
I should've stayed in Greece
Now
I'll just be stained on the cars below
Unwanted again

My name is William
My name is William
oooh"

A the stealthy, dramatic, guitar sound of Vin Peters infects the whole festival, the mosh pit once again forms encompassing a massive chunk of the audience. Prancing and sliding, Vin and Matt use the entire stage joined by Billie at any moment when he didn't have to sing. Sweat dripping and frothing they put on a show building the energy to a new high for the night as all the fans were able to enjoy bright, punching sound of Reported Failure's date with the heavier side of their music. The noise faded replaced by applause as Billie grabbed the microphone. "We have a song we want to play, but we need your help ok? Can you say Oh?" billie holds the mic out out the audience as a cheer of "OH" came from them. "Now say AY" And the audience repeated back to Billie "AY". "Right. Now put them together" said Billie before an "OHAY" came from the audience. "You guys know this song dont you?" he said laughing to the audience as more cheers came. "Now add another oh after that. Robert, give us a beat." Robert Edwards began slamming on the bass drum and hi-hat in time with the chant of "Ohay ohay ohay ohay ohayoh" that now came from the audience as instructed by Billie. Bass and guitar joined in screaming and stretching in the intro until a break as the intro to "A Pattern of Distress" finished and Billie began singing the verse.

"[Intro]
Ohay Ohay Ohay Ohay Ohayoh
Ohay Ohay Ohay Ohay Ohayoh
Ohay Ohay Ohay Ohay Ohayoh
Ohay Ohay Ohay Ohay Ohayoh

[Verse 1]
Everytime I speak I'm a liar
For dust clouds all the truths
Every word I speak sets a fire
And FDNY never shall rest

[Verse 2]
So lay my sister down in the coffin!
Cover her in daddy's ashes
Put her next to all the soldiers
All the workers cops and firefighters

[Chorus]
set fire to the ashes
Let the marble char and crack
Set fire to the photos
If I can't be with the dead
Then I don't want them living anymore

[Verse 3]
Cars speed down the freeway
They crush families and flags
They drive and pollute everything
Mind and love and hope and free

[Verse4]
So lay my sister down in the coffin
Cover her with a ripping flag
Watch as a world cries
And as a nation stares in shock

[Chorus]
set fire to the ashes
Let the marble char and crack
Set fire to the photos
If I can't be with the dead
Then I don't want them living anymore"

As the song reached the bridge Billie demanded the chant begin again. Clapping in time with it the audience roared. "Ladies and gentlemen, the greatest guitarist in rock and roll: Vincent Peters" at this the chant broke down as Vin slammed on one note bending it in true rock and roll fashion. Billie quickly got the chant going again. Vin powered down the fret like all the greats; mixing the high and low frequencies perfectly in a fully improvised guitar solo; tapping away like he was the newest member of Van Halen; strumming varying his style just enough; hammering on and pulling off; tremolo picking up to the highest of notes as the crowd went nuts; screaming and bending once again for full effect; finally sweep picking his way to the greatest of speeds; soaring up to the most dynamic of notes; and stepping back down in a big finish.

[Bridge]
Ohay Ohay Ohay Ohay Ohayoh
Ohay Ohay Ohay Ohay Ohayoh
Ohay Ohay Ohay Ohay Ohayoh
Ohay Ohay Ohay Ohay Ohayoh

[Chorus]
set fire to the ashes
Let the marble char and crack
Set fire to the photos
If I can't be with the dead
Then I don't want them living anymore"

The song ended and the crowd was cheering immensely and demanding more. Vin and Billie exchange looks and grin. Vin adjusts his guitar making sure it is secure. Billie speaks: "This song you may have heard. It's from an album we released two years ago called Post-Grunge Catastrophe. It's a song we never get sick of playing which is why we've played it at almost every show since then." The crowd cheered. Billie prepped his tuning and then said: "This is Manufactured Radio". At this moment three things happened simultaneously: the crowd went nuts at the reality of hearing another fan favorite; Robert and Matt both slammed down on their instruments; and Vin with the first chord of the song already being strummed jumped backwards onto the crowd in a small stagedive to be transported around on top of all of the fans whilst still playing the song. He was transported, putting full trust to his fans all the while trying to still play the song as Bille and Matt harmonized. When it came time for the guitar solo Vin was able to stand up, elevated by the crowd and played another guitar solo in the midst of the crowd elevated like a shrine to the gods of rock and roll.

"You got soul
Hidden in this remote control
you turn it on (off on off on off on off)
you got style
With your skin tight jeans
And your angsty graphic t-shirt
you take it off (on off on off on off on)

So when you walk down the street, hope you know youre doin it for me
And that voice in the back of your head, that’s me
And your words, I wrote them for you
So you can be the radio

What happened… to anything
you swear it wasn’t like this just the other day
What happened to living?
And being something just so you could say
“I’ll go my own way”

You got beat
Through some digital screen
You turn it on (Off on off on off on off)
You got licks
Through your guitar picks
You stroke it up (down up down up down up down)

So when you breathe fuck or sleep I hope you know that youre doin it for me
Every note you’ve sang, that was me
And your words, I wrote them for you
So you can be the radio

What happened… to anything
you swear it wasn’t like this just the other day
What happened to living?
And being something just so you could say
“I’ll go my own way”

Though you try (try try try try try try)
You cant escape me
I am the mafia
I am the radio
I am Sirius top 40 hits
I am the radio
I am the radio
I am the fucking radio

What happened… to anything
you swear it wasn’t like this just the other day
What happened to living?
And being something just so you could say
“I’ll go my own way”

I am the fucking radio"

The cheers faded. Billie got some water as Matt re-tuned and there was a slight pause as Vin had to make his way back to the stage. This took an extra amount of time so Matt played on his bass performing the equivalency of a bass solo over the silence, loaded with reverb and resonating over the entire audience. "Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Matt Collins." said Billie. THe crowd cheered as Billie said this and Vin arrived back onstage. Robert begins playing a beat and after one measure the rest of the band join in on what turns out to be the intro to "Disarm". Billie and Vin both crash on their guitars strumming loud and fast in the extended intro which finally turns into Billie, with all the fiery angst he can muster yelling the words to the title track from Reported Failure's 2010 release.

"When the world's turned inside out
The sun only shines to show the bombs fall
Every minute I survive
It's another minute to watch all my friends die
Even if there is a god above
I lost my religion when I saw the war he caused
(The war he caused)

(The war everyone caused)

(We have to)
Disarm the bombs!
Try to stop the blood!
(Can't we?)
Disarm the gods!
Before our world is gone!
I wont stand up
Because I know the pain I've caused
I will back down
Because I know I've exhausted my cause

When the sky burns with doomsday flames
Finally it matches the fire burning in my soul
None of earth makes it to heaven
We're so bitter we kill just for a taste of Eden's sweet fruit
The smoke rises so thick
I hope it blocks out the light, just so I can't see the pain
(See the pain)

(THe pain that the war caused)

(We have to)
Disarm the bombs!
Try to stop the blood!
(Can't we?)
Disarm the gods!
Before our world is gone!
I wont stand up
Because I know the pain I've caused
I will back down
Because I know I've exhausted my cause

Take me to the fire
To the climax of horror
Make like a leader
And lead me to the end
Make it fast like the jet planes
All falling from the sky
The war only ends
With the destruction of day and night

(We have to)
Disarm the bombs!
Try to stop the blood!
(Can't we?)
Disarm the gods!
Before our world is gone!
I wont stand up
Because I know the pain I've caused
I will back down
Because I know I've exhausted my cause"

Thus the guitar-heavy act two of Reported Failure's set was over. The crowd was not very alive in a state of somewhat constant raucous cheering for Reported Failure. Billie got more water and then came to the mic: "I promised more of our new songs so this is the last one. We've played it a few times. It's a slow one so bare with us but it holds great meaning so were going to play it for you. This is called When I Talk to God." An eerie guitar sound started, joined by soft drumming and effervescent bass. A piano plays hauntingly in the background and softly chiming through everyone's ears and hearts Billie strums his guitar and begins to sing. The blue backdrop is replaced with complicated geometric architectural shapes focusing in and out and rotating around setting the mood for the song.

"Muhammad I shall ride with you
To Mecca I will ride
I'll spread your words to Africa
Oh I shall spread God's name

Moses help all my children
Plague spite the devil's crush
Save them all from Egypt
And I'll follow through Holocaust

Oh but when I speak to god
Its like he listening
But it's really not interesting
And when I speak to god
Its like he knows I'm sinning
But he has better things to be doing

And God, I'm afraid to love you
I'm so lost
I'd make the Ocean rise for you
As Jesus dies for you
But God I don't work that way
So I run away

Jesus you have died for me
But reborn to insincerity
Late to your last supper
Now blood costs thousands more

Oh now when I speak to god
I know he's rightful
He's listening but vengeful
And when I speak to god
His glory's unchanging
But his words are aging

And God, I'm afraid to love you
I'm so lost
I'd make the Ocean rise for you
As Jesus dies for you
But God I don't work that way
So I run away

So I sing
So I prey
I will climb I will float I will stay
So I sing
So I prey
I will swim I will fall I will say

And god, when I love
It's like its an enigma
Like it's my own sin
When I sing to god
I can reach heaven
I can burn hell and start again
When I sing to god
I'll fall off the earth
Die in the atmosphere
I just fell to love again
Yes I just fell to love again

I'll make the oceans rise for you
As Jesus dies for you
I will fall for you
As angels call for you
I fell to love again
I fell to love again"

The crowd applauded having enjoyed the song although it was to mellow to really get crazy and not well known enough to spark magical sing-alongs. Billie continued speaking: "We have a song we released just over a year ago. We've played it a lot but we haven't really been able to play it how it was intended. Tonight though that changes. Tonight we have a few special guests. From Sacramento, California we have the percussion section from the West Campus High School marching band." As this the crowd roars as the marching band takes the stage cued by Robert Edwards. With this the beginning beat for "Crumbling" begins joined with a roar from the crowd. vin plays a sweet progression joined by Matt playing softly as the beat dynamically builds. "Also would you please welcome the Sacramento String Quartet!" shouted Billie as light was suddenly given to a section of the stage where a string quartet began adding to the song immediately. The melodies ran and slid around making a soothing atmosphere as the crowd continued to roar waiting for the song to start fully. "We have one more guest tonight. Ladies and gentlemen, he'll be back on this stage in two nights, hes the best and brightest in music today, and he is one of our dearest friends. Please welcome JAMES URIE!" The crowd now went nuts as James Urie with all the class and swagger he posessed lounged onstage with a microphone in hand. With that the song began. Billie strummed away as the drummers played and the string quartet plucked and swayed over Matt's steady bass and Vin's atmospheric noise.

"Crumbling
I am crumbling
From my limbic system
To the marble pillars
Ashes to ashes, it all falls down

Is this the end of my time?
When the only light in this dark
Is my flag that they're burning
ooh oh oh, ooh oh oh
ooh oh oh, ooh oh oh

[Verse 2]
Crumbling
I am crumbling
From the tremors of absent fathers
Violence, hatred, from self to the crowds
Ashes to ashes it all falls down

[Prechorus 1]
Is this the end of my time?
When the only light in this dark
Is my flag that they're burning

[Chorus 1]
Of many I found no one
no one who could save my life
Falling so heavy
Before it's done no one will even know why
Even know why

[Verse 3]
Crumbling
I am freedom falling
I am no one!
Shaking and trembling
From the horrors that I've seen
Ashes to ashes it all falls down

[Prechorus 2]
Is this the end of my time?
When the only light in this dark
Is my flag that they're burning

[Chorus 2]
Of many I found no one
no one who could save my life
Falling so heavy
Before it's done no one will even know why
Even know why"

The song broke and the noises faded other than the quartet which continues building an epic, dramatic melody. "LET ME HEAR YOU" demanded Billie of the crowd. All with their mic's Billie, James, Matt, and Vin began to sing different parts of the melody with the crowd joining in for the bridge. tHe noise flew transcending all boundaries and uniting the entire world in pure bliss of music. The drums came back in. Soon the guitar and bass were back in a climax of sound extending into the hearts and minds of all its listeners.

"[Bridge]
Ooh oh oh, Ooh oh oh
Ooh oh oh, ooh oh oh
I am freedom falling
I am no one!
I am freedom falling
I am no one!
I am freedom falling
I am no one!
I am freedom falling
I am no one!

[Chorus 3]
Of many I found no one
no one who could save my life
Falling so heavy
Before it's done no one will even know why
Even know why"

The roars of the crowd continued in never-ending excitement and bliss. Even after James Urie, the percussion section, and the string quartet had left the stage, the roars continued. Billie just stood basking in the atmosphere. He raised his guitar up in a spiritual fashion rubbing it on his face in an iconic fashion. Sweat dripping on it and random noise emitting as Billie's ceek brushed the strings, the entire world could at that moment tell that Beckett was in a state of true, unlimited, indescribable enlightenment. Collecting himself Billie put his guitar down and went to the mic. "This is the last song. It is a cover and I truly believe it is one of the best songs ever written. If you know it please sing along. This is called Landslide by Fleetwood Mac." The crowd cheered to this. Vin began plucking his strings overlayed with Billie strumming softly and beginning to sing. Matt was standing his bass dormant but his mouth singing every word along with Robert and a majority of the crowd. A chilling moment came over Aphrodisiac as Billie sang with emotion pouring out of his lungs embodying his tone and pitch and the entire song.

I took my love, I took it down
Climbed a mountain and I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
'Til the landslide brought it down
Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changin' ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?

Well, I've been afraid of changin'
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Even children get older
And I'm getting older too
And I'm getting older too
Oh, take my love, take it down
Climb a mountain and turn around

And if you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide will bring it down
And if you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide will bring it down
The landslide will bring it down

THe song ended and the crowd went on in screams. "Thank you. Thank you so much" said Billie. "We will see you all again soon. Stephanie Fierce is up next. Stick around. Goodnight!" Reported Failure left the stage leaving nothing but the sound of the crowd behind.
