Artist Interview


Hello Michelle Green, nice to have you hear supporting your label Shooting Star Records.
Michelle: Thank you, its great to be here!

Very well, now I would like to get on with this short interview, just to give our fans something to tune into that would really keep them interested in you, as well as the label itself

How do you currently feel about Shooting Star Records and Malory Evans?

Michelle: I think its an amazing label that has been through so much. And Malory is a really talented buisness woman who knows what shes doing best.

How did you feel when you were first signed and what happened after you were signed?

Michelle: Well, after I signed the contract a few days after I started finishing the recording of my 2nd album named 'Exiled' not much changed I just feel like with SSR I feel I have more people backing me with my endevours.

How has your album and single gone? (For artists who already released an album and single)

Michelle: Well, I only have released 1 song off of what will be my second single, and thats 'Dance With Danger' its sort of getting everyone ready for the second release off the album, and finally the album. It peaked within the top 10 on the airplay charts, and is selling on the Digital Sales chart.. its doing well :)


Hot Questions

Who are your inspirations in the music business? Who do you like and dislike?

Michelle: I think everyone in the music industry is pretty much special in their own way. But I love Ryan Ross Hernandez, Mind, Infinite, Jason Smith, James Urie. I'm a Alternative head.. really but I like all types of music as well..


What do you think of your current label mates on Shooting Star Records ?

Michelle: There all great! I think they're all amazing artists to tell you the honest truth :)

Is there anyone you look up to on the label? Who do you feel holds the most fame at this point on SSR?
Michelle: Well, I wouldnt say I look up to anyone, but I think Brittany or Matty holds alot of fame right now.. even though soem would argue I do! Hehe, just kidding but yea..

And lastly, what can we expect in the future for Michelle Green ?
Another single release, which I'm very, very excited about and of course the release of Exiled this summer either in July or August of this year. I'm totally excited!
