At The Airport...

A taxi pulls up outside of the airport, the back door opens and MattY steps out. He pulls Cherise out behind him, and smiles. “There you go m’lady.” He smiles cheekily at her and then goes and gets her stuff from the boot of the car. He drags the bag behind him towards the front of the car and says, “I’ll give you an extra £300 if you wait her for like 20 minutes, so you can take me home.” Then MattY drags the bags towards the entrance.
Cherise collects her ticket and then comes back to MattY who was waiting by a coffee machine, getting them both a drink. She gets back and smiles at him, “Okay, you be good. I don’t want you getting into any trouble while I’m gone.”
MattY takes a sip of his drink and makes a little noise as he burns his tongue on the hot coffee. He nods, “Okay darling; I’ll do my best.” He is a little shaky, and is still a bit weak after being clean for the best part three weeks now, he nods again and shakes his head quickly. “Yeah, I’ll be fine babe. You call me when you get there yeah, I wanna hear how the plane journey was. You tell Vanity that I say hi;” he looks down at her belly and pats it. “And you,” he says to their unborn baby, “behave yourself. I don’t want you giving mummy any trouble while she is performing in front of thousands of people!”
She smiles at him and pulls him in for a tight embrace. Cherise pulls back and puts her hands on his face and kisses him. “Okay, well I best be off. You will be okay right?”
MattY smiles, “yeah of course I will. Now look, you better go. I don’t think Miss Vanity will appreciate you no showing up for her…” He kisses her one more time, “Go.”
She smiles at him and starts to pull her cases towards the check in desk. As she goes, MattY makes a heart shape with his hands, and she smiles. As soon as she has gone around the corner, MattY turns around and goes back to the taxi.
He climbs into the back of the taxi and the driver says, “So back where you came from then?”
MattY shakes his head; “No. I need to sort something out.” He tells him the address and they leave the airport.

After seeing that last tweet from Cherise, MattY rushes around the house trying to clear it up. He'll never do it in time - this place will take weeks to clear up; it isn't just rubbish and stuff that he hasn't thrown away, it is broken things - like the TV for example.
They weren't happy when they came over... Not at all...

MattY breaks into a nervous sweat, "Shit she'll be here soon!! What will i tell her?!?!" He runs around the house just clearing stuff into the cupboard under the stairs, "This isn't going to work! Should i tell her the truth? No! I cant do that! AAAHHHH!!!!"

The doorbell rings and MattY's heart jumps into his throat. "SHHIIIIIIIITTTT!!!" He rushes to the doorway and sees it his Cherise. He opens the door and forces his way out of it and quickly closes it again.

"Hiya babe, how are you?" he says whilst quickly hugging her.

He hears the excitement in her voice and his heart drops - 'Ah shit, how could i do that...' his face visible changes to one of disappointment in himself.

"Look, babe..." he doesn't quite know what to say

He smiles as she walks past him and then remembers that the house is a shit hole.
"STOP" he says, almost agressively. "Erm.. i mean, how about we go out for lunch? My treat? I have had plenty of money come in recently with Growth coming out..." he smiles weakly at her.

MattY tries to reach for the door, but it is too late - she has opened it and can see the mess that is his house.
MattY is again lost for words.

MattY doesn't even notice the smell, he has been living in it for the past week, "Oh babe, are you alright?" he asks, trying to turn her away from the house

MattY slowly walks into the house behind her, there is no point in trying to stop her - she is already in the house and has thrown up several times...
'What am i gonna say?' he thinks to himself

"Cherise, just leave it - i'll get it done, you need to relax yeah. This is my mess and i think you should leave it... okay?"
